The lead vet has a BVetMed (Hons) CertAVP (VetGP) MRCVS qualification and has been working in small animal practice since 1999. In 2009, they opened the practice and in 2016 gained the RCVS Advanced Practitioner qualification in Small Animal Practice.

The lead vet is experienced in consulting, emergencies, surgery, and veterinary forensics. They are also an expert witness for animal welfare and cruelty cases.

The clinical lead vet enjoys ultrasound imaging, surgery, mentoring new graduates, and playing the violin in orchestras. They also love climbing, walking in the Peak District, and socializing and training puppies for Dogs For Good.

The advanced practitioner in emergency and critical care has a particular interest in feline medicine, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery. They also enjoy horse riding and gymnastics outside of work.
