The town of Looe with its lovely beach and harbour, gift shops, places to eat and drink, bakeries, and a co-op is a couple of miles away. Polperro is also nearby and well worth a visit. There are walking routes to Looe town centre and beach, which is around a 40-minute walk.

The facilities are clean and tidy, with a well-stocked shop on site. There is a pool surrounded by sunbeds, a park, and mini golf to keep the kids entertained. The family bathroom is spacious with a bench for kids. Showers are hot and everything works well.

The staff work hard to keep the site in top shape and are always friendly and helpful. The service is excellent, with regular bus service into Looe. The gravel pitches are large and good size for awning, with electric hook up available. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
