Michael Hughes: Nice place

Terence James: Very nice relaxing stay.jimmy is a nice friendly guy as well.

R Abe: Small field site with electric hook up, on a slight hill but OK to level up there are distant sea views from a couple of pitches, separate male and female toilet blocks which are dated but pleasant and clean, showers use 20p coins 40p is plenty for a good shower. Owner is a real character and friendly. Good location to visit South hams beaches and close to Plymouth. 30 min walk to Wembury beach. Pay by Cash only.

Hannah Browne: Friendly campsite

Griff Johnson: Lovely site, very quiet, basic but adequate facilities. Owner is very accommodating. Beautiful walks only a mile from the campsite. I'm enjoying my stay here.

Una Ratcliffe: It is a very basic campsite but I really loved it. Everything was spotless. Fabulous views and not far out of Plymouth. Will definitely go back.

Maureen Barrow: Beautiful tranquil... Love it.

Allison Lewis: What a gem, beautiful setting, country and sea views, 5 minute walk into the village, 15 minutes to the beach and coastal footpath. Facilities are fine and spotlessly clean. And most importantly the warmest welcome ever from the owner, Jimmy. Thank you we will be back

Pennymoor Caravan Park: what do users think?

jeremy spaven: Many thanks to Andy and his team lovely place very enjoyable stay highly recommend

Mario Loulié: Great camp site with fantastic viewsAccommodation varies depending on typeLocation: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Great view, Quiet …

tina chamberlain: A fantastic 14 day holiday, sun came out in full force. Pennymoor was a delight to stay with, high standards of cleanliness everywhere. Staff very friendly. Site kept very clean and tidy. We had a hardstanding pitch, which was level and cool with trees at back of pitch, much needed when sun was out in the evening. Plenty of dog walks around the site especially the figure 8 pasture. Shop/cafe was open during our 1st week, lovely lattes and cream teas. Was especially nice take away food served in the evening when we didn't want to cook. We'll be booking again soon for next year. Thankyou Pennymoor for a lovely holiday. See you next year.

Early Years Consultancy: We love staying at Pennymoor Caravan Park and visit every year, usually to camp.Nearby activities: Pennymoor is located within 15 minutes drive of Bigbury-on-Sea, which is a fabulous and beautiful beach.

Ian Beames: Good family friendly 🏕 siteStaff lovely, helpful.toilet and shower clean.Just pressing the shower button over and over annoying but got used to it.Good value for moneyLaundry room price fair £7 to do full load of washing and dryingI would come back again

Amy Kirkbride: We ended up staying here last night in our campervan. We had been to the beach and needed a last minute place to stay for the night, and the owners were extremely welcoming and accommodating. Very peaceful site with spotlessly clean facilities. Would definitely recommend and would return in the future.

Lorna Platt: Top times!!!

S O: Great to stay, toilets immaculate credit to who keeps them clean. Ground staff working on bedding for a nice display for summer. Cafe made good coffee and sold an array of products.First class service.Stephen and Tina

Hooe Lake Scout Campsite: what do users think?

Sarah Doney: It's brilliant 👍

Jodyann Ratchford: Beautiful location looking to book with my scout troop next year .

Chris Morton: Great location right on the fringes of Mount Edgcumbe. A short walk to Kingsand and Cawsand so plenty of opportunities for hikes and outdoor activities. Path down to the rocky beach makes this a great campsite for exploring the coastline.

Ben Watts: Great fun. Great location

Maker Campsite: what do users think?

nicola Mast: Absolutely amazing place 1st time going there, will not be our last 😊the view is spectacular if you just want to chill with peace and quiet this is the place or if you like walking there is plenty of places. The reception lady was polite and very helpful💯 Would recommend this place 🙂

Graham Terris: Very relaxing with great views, onsite food/drink options and a friendly atmosphere. More like a festival campsite than a structured caravan club type. That's a good thing!Location: 5/5 …

sonia vigie: Absolutely fabulous! I hope to go back one day and really enjoy it 😍

Clare: Wild and wonderful campsite, just as they should be, peaceful with elderflower hedges and meadow grass, loving listening to the skylarks. That would be enough for me, but it also has loads of immaculate facilities, bonus. It’s going on my list of favourites!

Lynsey Tiplady: Very relaxed . Great views . Fire bowls , canteen with amazing food . Cocktails I heard somewhere . What more is needed !

sandra dyer: Return to maker camping after a gap of a few years. Lovely site, relaxed and amazing location. New facilities much improved. Friendly staff and find your own pitch .Sad to see the results of having to sell some of their land. Glamping site next door now has the best sea views with squishedtogether bell tents .Still maker remains uniquely lovely. Will be back soon!

Jill S: Really nice location and very good tent sites. Impeccably clean facilities, including a common area for washing up and eating if you like. Met other very nice people out walking. My only issue is with communication-- the hosts are only at reception about five hours a day max, though they are super when you get hold of them. The website to book is unnecessarily convoluted and difficult to with through, and even after booking I didn't get the confirmation email, despite using my correct email to log in to their system. It would be nice if the system were simpler. It would also be helpful if the site areas and drinking water were labeled- about four of us were scratching our heads as we all arrived after reception left and it wasn't clear if the "water points" were drinking safe, especially as some of the "water points" were just fire extinguishers. Similarly, the campsite next door told us we could camp in very different spaces than the Maker Camp map showed. Not a big deal but a little confusing.Overall, really nice place and loved the community area.

Imogen Le Hunte: Fabulous, chilled campsite. Great new shower block, fire pits to hire. The Canteen restaurant is just amazing - brilliant food & staff, takeaway pizza on Fridays. The Barracks are really interesting too & host a bar & café.

Modbury Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite: what do users think?

Suzie Erdbrink: Very well looked after site. Good location, only 25 minutes to Salcombe, Hope Cove and Dartmouth. Modbury itself is a charming Devon town with everything you need. Lovely and quiet . Fantastic large fully fenced dog park. Clean shower block. Well kept grounds. Walks from the site limited. Debbie and Richard, Billy and Carol are the site wardens and are always helpful and friendly. We highly recommend this site.

Christopher Maxwell: Location: 5/5

Lynn Waude: Beautiful, peaceful, extremely well-kept camping site for caravans, motorhomes and tents. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The B road which is the access can be challenging if you happen to hit "rush hour " but well worth the trouble!Location: 5/5 …

Helen Sloley: Good selection of small shops in Modbury

Nigel Godfrey: Lovely site for piece and quiet. Wardens exceptionally nice and had the best welcoming of any site I've been to. Approach road a little awkward at times due to being narrow and if approaching at 'peak' times, there can be a few tight spots. Out of peak times, it's no problem.

Mike Holloway: Absolutely brilliant stay again, lost count how many times we've been here. Wardens are great, very helpful and friendly. Spotless shower block.

Nigel Oldrini: Nice quiet site close to places such as Kingsbridge, Dartmouth, Salcombe Ann many others.Nearby activities: Ideally situation for the tourist attractions of South Devon

Anne Bartle: A very nice site, toilet shower block kept very clean, and the grass is beautifully kept. Booked in for 3 days ended up staying 6 days . The wardens extremely helpful and friendly.Thank you,Bartle
