Brief history of the John Lewis store
Originally a drapery store, the John Lewis Department Store opened on Oxford Street in 1864.
In 1905, Lewis acquired a second store in Sloane Square in the Chelsea district.
On January 1, 2008, the Oxford Street store obtained a Royal Warrant of Her Majesty the Queen as "Suppliers of haberdashery and housewares"
When at the John Lewis store in Chelsea, he holds a Royal Warrant from both His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh.

My shopping tips at John Lewis
To find the best deals, come do your shopping during the sales when the discounts are important.
If you feel like buying an item from Barbour, I really advise you to take it from John Lewis where the discounts are really important, up to - 50%. By the way, do not go to Barbour rue Regent Street as this store is not an official store and offers little or no discounts during the sales. In other words, the same Barbour item sold at John Lewis will have a smaller reduction than at Barbour Regent Street.
Another good plan, know that you can pay for your purchases in euros which will prevent you from having bank charges.
