Visitors can expect to see over 7000 plants in 4 Victorian Glasshouses, outdoor gardens including Alpine Gardens and a Japanese Garden showcasing the National Bonsai Collection, a Pinetum, Adventure Playground, and a rolling lawn overlooking a restored authentic bandstand.
Visitors can enjoy seasonal garden walks and talks, visit the café, playground area, and participate in a variety of fun events throughout the year.
The botanical gardens are transitioning to a cashless site to support sustainability, the environment, and enhance the overall visitor experience. Visitors are encouraged to pay by card, but cash payments can still be accommodated.
The botanical gardens are open from 10 am until 5 pm on weekdays and weekends from 10th February to 24th May.
