The Yard of Ale Pub shows all popular live sporting events aired on terrestrial, Sky, and BTSport. They have 3 separate sky boxes and enough separate areas to put sound on each event.

The Yard of Ale Pub focuses on quality rather than quantity when it comes to offering ales. They aim to provide a broad selection with at least two beer festivals a year and dedicate one of their pumps to never dispense the same beer twice.

Ensuite guest rooms are currently being renovated upstairs in the Yard of Ale Pub and should be available for overnight stays later in the year. Until then, rooms at Clarks Guest House, just across the road from the pub, are available to book.

Above the pub, there is a function room currently undergoing a major renovation. This room can comfortably hold up to 60 people and is available for hire with or without a bar for events, parties, band practices, and any other special occasions from October.
