Pupils at Nethergate Academy have been awarded a coveted Eco-Schools Green Flag and earned an international accreditation for their work in making the school more environmentally friendly.

Greenwood Academies Trust is celebrating the completion of a new unit at Nethergate Academy, expanding special educational needs provision for Nottingham City pupils.

Students at Nethergate Academy raised funds for Emmanuel House (homeless shelter) and Dolly Parton's Imagination Library through various activities like a 'pop-up' reading cafe and a 'Christmas Jumper Day'.

Former students have expressed their gratitude for the school, mentioning the great friends they made, the amazing teachers they had, and the positive impact the school had on their lives.
