We loved the relaxed vibe of the coffee shop. The staff were friendly and the place was perfect for a quiet bite to eat to shelter from the cold and rain. The food surpassed expectations and there were some great vegetarian and vegan options available.

The overall experience at the coffee shop was excellent. The small rooms made it best to visit when not busy. The food was amazing, the staff were friendly, and the coffee was so good that customers kept going back every day throughout their visit to York.

The coffee shop offered a large fresh menu with a variety of options. The brie, bacon, and cranberry toastie surpassed expectations, and the veggie sausage butty was amazing. There were other great vegetarian and vegan options available, which were not normally found in cafes. The food was tasty, filling, and great value for money.

While the old style of the building had tight, windy stairs which may be difficult to navigate for those with mobility issues, the coffee shop offered takeaway options. The staff were lovely, despite having to walk up many flights of stairs. The coffee shop was not wheelchair accessible, but the staff were still brilliant.
