Jenny Thompson: We visited the store whilst on a 2 night break in the City, simply popping in to see what wedding rings were available. Our wedding isn’t until 2023 so there was no urgency to purchase the rings, however we did! The staff at the store are a credit to your company! We initially met Andrew on our first visit who was down to earth, easy to talk to, honest in giving his opinion when I asked about certain styles of rings and their suitability as wedding rings. We visited the following day where we were greeted by the wonderful Susi! A lovely lady who is passionate about jewellery, clearly loves her job and was so incredibly helpful and patient as we both chose our wedding rings. We purchased both our rings that day and Susi was nothing but a pleasure to deal with! Honestly though Goldsmiths, if you can keep your current York staff please do! They’re a wonderful bunch of individuals and are a credit to your store! Thank you Susi and Andrew!

We were taken care of by Susan who was incredibly knowledgeable and could not have made us feel more welcome. My daughter also LOVED the attention she got from the staff. The establishment itself was in a league above any other jeweller I’ve been in before. All in all I can’t recommend the this showroom highly enough and I look forward to many future visits.

Things happen, but what defines any concerns is the way the issues are resolved and I have to say that Berry's set a standard that would be hard to beat. Highly recommended.

Kev O: I visited Berry's at 1, Stonegate at York to enquire about having the bracelet re-fitted to my vintage Speedie.The watch has literally gone through the wars with my service within the UK Military and Police, and it proved to be quite a task due to one of the end pieces being slightly distorted and the corresponding pin having an almost imperceptible bend.The service offered by Jack and his colleagues was exemplary, my watch was returned to me looking absolutely immaculate and for that, I am extremely grateful.

Nothing is too much trouble, everyone is really friendly and helpful. It is a 5-star experience from start to finish with very high quality jewellery that I suspect may be difficult to find elsewhere - this just adds to the charm of the visit.
