Elizabeth Rheinberger: Alot of fun as well information about York. Really enjoyed the experience!
Oliver Driscoll: Amazing tour
Alex L.: Part of the group on April 28th (I don’t believe we had the name of the man who les us through the streets of York).Fantastic experience and a huge thank you to the man, who played his part brilliantly!Thank you again!
Angela Killerby: Really enjoyed this tour. The host has really made it a memorable experience that I will never forget. Creepy, funny and a good way to explore the streets of York.
Hayley Morgan: Really funny! A fantastic experience for the family. Scary, informative and lots of laughter along the way. The guide was brilliant. Definitely a must do in York!!
Liz Gabbott: So glad we experienced this tour. The guide was informative, spooky, and hilarious! I loved every minute of it. We walked through the streets of York, told stories….and it was all delivered with a theatrical humour that made this night unforgettable! I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone!
David Davies: We booked this last year but ended up missing it. We visited York a year later and randomly bumped into the guide and mentioned what happened, so he gave us some free tickets, this time we made sure we were on time. What a great experience, very entertaining, interesting and a great way to spend 45-60 minutes,. Great if you’re with a few friends., I’d definitely do it again
Harry Bath: Amazing, great fun and well worth the money, didn't expect to be yelling at a restaurant window during the walk but it added to the fun!
Louis Smith: Great way to finish off an evening in York, great guide and hilarious story's and bits. Would highly recommend to anyone staying late in York!
Martin Boyden: Very entertaining and engaging but limited stories about York ghosts and locations but worth a go.
mini me brothers: Great tour. The guide is so good kept the whole audience gripped to every word. Great stories and laughter, well worth a go! We loved it
istvanne Matuz: Super
Jonathan Butler: Ok...so im a little disappointed that the ghost stories were more like a show, rather than informative factual tour. The guide himself was good at what he does, but i was looking for a more interestingfacts.
Sebastiaan: Lovey tour from Daria Deathly! She was very bubbly and was able to really capture the group with her stories, while also managing a big group of people (30 or so). Well worth it!
Royce Fernandes: The guide was a very very very serious funny man. Definitely a night I'd remeber☺️
Kayt Wain: Brilliant tour, tongue in cheek and interactive
Golden Reviewer: It is a fun experience. Mainly stories and some funny stunts.
Luke M: Lots of ghosty stories and a very theatrical ghost man.
Poppy Douglass: Started punctually - it was very busy - around 30 people so took a while to process tickets. The chap was awesome, mix of amusing and serious with great sense of humour. If you don’t like blood like me, you’ll struggle with the knife and arm scene outside the minster lol!!!£10 each for 66 minutes and 6 seconds which was extremely enjoyable for all ages!!Thank you
Christopher Keegan: Great tour really funny and very informative would highly recommend
Salford_paul Hamblett: Good tour with a very entertaining guide

The Original Ghost Walk of York: what do users think?
James Finlayson: Went on a ghost walk in the pouring rain and was so impressed by the storytelling ability of the incredible host, as well as his knowledge of the local area. Thanks so much for making such a memorable night for myself and my partner
Sam Taylor: Would highly recommend. A very thought provoking and interesting tour around some of York’s haunted destinations, and our tour guide was both very charismatic and authentic, and genuinely took an interest in all the guests and did so with good humour. Well worth the price!
sahitya: One of the good ways to discover the city at night, listening to the lesser known dark secrets. However, the stories could have been a bit more interesting.
sparsh sharma: The stories are readily available online, but it takes a certain level of enthusiasm and theatrics to truly bring them to life. Unfortunately, my walk lacked those elements, and as a result, the impact of the stories fell short. While I have nothing against the storyteller, it's clear that something was lacking. However, if you're looking for a truly impactful experience, I highly recommend checking out the Edinburgh tour - it's in a league of its own.
Quinn B: This is one of the best walking tours I’ve taken in my life, never mind whether it’s a ghost tour or not. My wife tends to enjoy ghost tours more than I do, and I go along begrudgingly, but I really enjoyed this. Our tour guide was very entertaining, kept the group together, and managed to speak so that the whole, rather large group, could hear him. We were a little nervous about the fact that they don’t take reservations since York was very crowded for Easter, but as I said, it was well managed and something I would enthusiastically recommend.
Johnny: Depends on what you prefer but I found this far to wordy and would have preferred to vist more locations with a briefer description at each point.
Nivetha: We had a wonderful time doing this ghost walk at York. Recommend it for everyone visiting York. Host was entertaining and a very good story teller.
Caroline Scholes: Ghostman Pat was awesome. The stories were informative and funny. Loved it.
KARL DORAN: Brilliant what a scream
Sam Thomas (Sam): It was a great talk, the host was very knowledgeable about the history of the city and the ghost stories were interesting even if you aren't a believer.
lloyd storer: Charismatic host who is a great story teller. Stories of murder and execution as you walk around the city of York. Great fun!
Amy H: Absolutely amazing, was very entertaining even if I was spooked! Would 100% recommend. The guide was lovely as well :)
Lauren Cooper: Attended the tour last night and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable and the most fantastic story teller. Was very cold, wet, and windy but I wouldn't let that put you off attending. Would recommend to anyone!
Bed Head: Went on the tour tonight and wasn't sure if there would be many people attending due to the cold snowy weather. There was however about 10 of us which made the tour more personal as a smaller group. I'm afraid I can't remember the tour guides name but I thoroughly enjoyed the almost 2 hours of history and ghost tales of the dark side of York. Was one of the best ghost tours I've been on (and I've done a fair few!!) Would definitely recommend and was well worth the £7.50.
Joe Bryan: Absolutely not to be missed if you're spending an evening in York! Fascinating (but spooky) history brought to life by an excellent tour guide. Looking forward to my next visit :)
billy Armstrong: The tour guide was ace, recommended. I didn't find it scary though as I'm pretty hard.
Ma Ea: Hauntingly good fun for the whole family. Spectre-cular!
Chris D: We visited York and stayed in the haunted hotel the Golden Fleece. We therefore thought it would be a great idea to do a Ghost Walk. This did not disappoint I would highly recommend The Original Ghost Walk of York to anyone visiting the area.
Kim Goulthorp: Fantastic ghost walk bought as part of my boyfriends birthday, we were so glad we decided to go on this as we were originally unsure. Not one to miss! Fab to get a different view of the city at night. The guide was great and it was very reasonably priced. Thank you!
msmithno1: Truly exciting yet chilling experience! Our tour guide Mark was exceptional and thoroughly engaging, truly the heartbeat of the whole experience.Definitely recommend!
Ashley Davies: Both an authentic and thoroughly enjoyable experience. Has to be the first port of call if you are looking into Ghost Walks in York 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
