4worldlovers: York Stage School, has been running in the city for five years and we couldn't be prouder of the students who have worked with our team of industry professional tutors over that time. We are unique as we are not governed by a chain as a franchise and therefore we are able to adapt our classes and training for the individual, allowing them to discover what makes them special as a creative in order to succeed and grow!
As a local independent business, York Stage School offers weekly Acting, Singing, Musical Theatre and Dance classes to students from our studios at Theatre@41, Monkgate.
Our team of tutors are all professionally trained and continue to work within the industry, meaning the training your child receives is up to date, relevant and of the highest standards. Alongside our renowned two hour Stage School classes we also offer LAMDA, Jazz, Ballet and Tap dance classes for ages 7+
For our younger RISING STARS, we offer our Yorkie Puds baby and toddler classes as well as dance classes for toddlers and kids.

4worldlovers: Welcome to Stagecoach Performing Arts where we love to bring out the best in every child through the wonderful world of Singing, Dancing and Acting.
Young children become more confident and develop lifelong skills at our safe, fun and welcoming singing, dancing and drama classes. Our Early Stages classes last 90 minutes and are held weekly during term time.
Children and teens explore their creativity as they develop singing, dancing and drama skills in our engaging performing arts classes. Our Main Stages classes run for 3 hours per week in term time.
Kids have fun improving their performing arts skills and get to perform in front of family and friends in our Holiday Workshops. Our holiday clubs and workshops are open to all children aged from 4 to18.

Tracey Rea Theatre: A wonderful space for the hire of rehearsal rooms and the performance of grass roots theatre, staging all kinds of plays, musicals, stand-up comedy, used by York's various amateur companies and increasingly many of today's commercial artists and theatre companies.
William Schofield: Went to see Songbird in this bejut theatre , although small the tables were set out in cabaret style to provide an intimate show.The staff were very attentive and all in all a lovely evening , parked just behind the venue in the municipal car park which was just fine

Jill Hovath: First time at this Theatre, I understand it's a listed building, but the place does require a bar. And the chance to get in the building at an earliar time would be better, especially when the weather is somewhat, challenging. Hopefully along with our donation, adding a gardenhouse would benefit the theatre. All the staff are Volunteers, and are a credit to the place. .Enjoyed Rowntrees, and look forward to visiting this beautiful theatre again soon.
