Alex Booth: Slightly expensive food if you want to treat yourself to something a little different, though snotty eggs ruined my bills big breakfast. Shame about the obligatory tip you have to ask to remove but they don't make you feel uncomfortableif you do. Great atmosphere and friendly staff, might call again.Food: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

John Huke: What a fabulous restaurant to visit. Fabulous decor throughout, polite professional staff and last but not least, their food is fantastic.. It's the full package. So the tree of us had starters. I had calamari, the others had tuna carpaccio with tacos. We had a side of flat garlic bread and side salads. Crispy, dry calamari that was still tender inside. The tuna was fabulous too, gently seared on the outside as you'd expect. We had cocktails that were nicely made without tonnes of ice. Now the main meals were spot on. Tasty, moist and full of flavour. I had truffle chicken 2 ways with chips, the others had the same with mash. It was amazing food. The price was good for three of us with 2 cocktails each and a bottle of wine. Service charge is added with 3 options which is fair as the service was excellent throughout our meal. Highly recommend this restaurant and we will certainly visit again. Many thanks.

B Richman: We were greeted and let to a table. Then we were ignored, servers were coming and going but no one came to take our order. After waiting 20 minutes we left.
Gina Gordon: Lovely staff, but the meal was pretty awful. We arrived 6pm and ordered within 10 minutes, but our starters arrived close to 7pm. My soup was lukewarm and watery, but I didn’t complain as the waitress had already taken our starters off the bill because of the wait. Some bread would have been nice. My Hippy bowl was a mish mash of tasteless vegetables. I ordered garlic bread with it, but it was just a piece of flabby tasteless dough. The people behind us were complaining about the coldness of their meal. This Bill’s is large, and the kitchen obviously couldn’t cope, but there is no excuse for cold food. 12% was added to the bill, so in total in came close to £40 for 2 starters and 2 mains, with a bottle of water! Won’t be returning.

Luke Walther: When we got there our glasses were dirty and needed replacing. Told the server I had a dairy allergy, and explicitly asked for no butter, no cheese. Clearly they didn't know the ingredients in their dishes, or didn't check, because now, an hour after the meal, I'm sick. Service was slow despite being one of the first people in the restaurant. The gratuity was automatically added. They don't accept cash. The food was alright; nothing special, but not terrible tasting. Being sick, however, is terrible.Dietary restrictions: Something in their ultimate brunch has dairy in it, even if you request no dairy. Probably the beans, but I can't be sure. Beware.
RoarR. S.: Tolles Lokal...gutes Essen. Sehr schönes Ambiente. Rundum gelungen.😉👍

Kate Faulkner: This is the best Ivy I have been too (visited 3 others in London) Lovely service from a super waiter (and gentleman!), great food, attentive to my allergies and we all had a smashing time. Thanks so much!Dietary restrictions: I have a weird bunch including wheat.
Tricia: Ordered the burger……….. the bun was burnt, the burger dry, the lettuce was brown and the chips were dry and hard. That hard I could bang them on the plate! Husbands first time in The Ivy, disappointed and quite frankly embarrassed considering how much I had praised Bath, Bristol and Cardiff. Manager did refund and offer an alternative. We left and went to a Bistro around the corner and had better. Dissatisfied.
Dianne Crowther: Excellent afternoon tea with reconnecting family , Ideal surroundings. Great service ,we were under no time restraints. The only issue was The Ivy don't have a decaffeinated tea, only coffee which you don't want with an afternoon tea.Dietary restrictions: Catered well for gluten free.
