Revolution York: what do users think?
Dub Days Campers carl: Great pub & atmosphere!!!
Gill Sharp: A young person's bar. Everywhere was filthy, the floor you couldn't lift your feet off and the toilets were next level disgusting
Cari Llewelyn Jones: What a dive. Takes forever to get served and can't hear yourself think and over priced.
Sophie Heron: Very much a student bar, not the best choice of beer or tap but food okay. Not sure what it's like at weekend. Nice area overlooking the water.
Viv Main: Great bar with a good atmosphere, modern decor and plenty of indoor & outdoor space providing lovely views over the river. Extensive food & drinks menu plus friendly/highly motivated staff, obviously well used to busy service!
Nigel Wood: Bar staff basically ignored me, waited for 20 mins and 1 of our party went further along the bar and got served
Alan B: Nice spot for a drink by the river
Joe G: If you like barely legal kids rolling about and fighting I guess you could have a good time here. I'm probs just to old to be fair.
Once Upon A Ball Events: Disgusting, won’t be coming here again. As a first year student coming for Sunday Revs, I was hit in the chest, being shoved aggressively by one of the bouncers whilst coming out the female toilet, they were going past for something happening in the men’s toilet. I understand there was something urgent that they needed to get through for but a grown large man should not be putting his hands on an 18 year old girl like that who did absolutely nothing wrong, especially on the chest area of a girl, the other two bouncers got past me perfectly fine and alls I was doing was coming out of the toilet. He could have simply said excuse me and I would have moved, or at least gently move me aside, not hit me full force in the chest. Took ages to receive a response to email and continuously ignored the multiple times I asked for CCTV. Wont be coming again. Disgusting behaviour, bouncers think they are superior, a few weeks prior they had also shouted at a friend for simply asking why the upstairs bar was closed. In response to the reply: nowhere in the email did you mention this about why the CCTV couldn’t be sent, I asked multiple times and each time was ignored. The email (this is copy and pasted) said “ The bouncers didn't purposefully push you out the way” after turning to the side and shoving me full force with two hands in the chest. Conversing with a manager over the phone won’t resolve the situation, a grown man should not be putting his hands on an 18 year old girl like that in the first place.
Jennifer Mansell: Used a buy a gift voucher, for afternoon tea. Loved the difference of burgers and chips, then cakes. Yummy food and yummiest cakes. Also enjoyed a cocktail or two.
Lee Meager: Good pub with nice views
Judith Tierney: Very much a student bar but still really nice and bet it's even better in the summer sat over looking the river
T J Fawcett (LethalFawce56): Beautiful river views and enough space for everyone if you can handle a busy environment.
Gail Longstaff: Amazing night great music
Loopy E: Cocktail making afternoon was brilliant. Great service, friendly staff. Thank you
David Pink: Expensive drinks
Amber Goodwin: We came for cocktail making as part of a hen do, and had a fantastic time. Great value for money, and one of the most fun cocktail making venues I've been to. There was also 2 of us who weren't able to drink, and the host made sure we were included making mocktails and supplying mocktails throughout. Thank you!
Lydia Holland: Really nice afternoon! Bar manager got our drinks to us very quickly after they got lost after ordering on the app, and had a very delicious pear margarita after the bar mans recommendation ✨️
Carl Turner: Fab drinks and great atmosphere
Priyanka Rodrigues: Only go for the viewThe drinks were not good.
Jason Chinnian “Jay Cee” There Was A Time Productions: Normally it's busy and noisy, but it was nice to have a quiet drink or two. It was a little fresh on the veranda next to the river but still pleasant enough. However, we moved inside after about 30mins. It was comfortable but the music can be a little loud so you can't have a conversation. That'd be my suggestion; have certain places that are a little quieter for folk who want to actually talk to one another. But it was still cool though the lager prices were pricey 😳 but then again, it's York city centre 😀.

The Hilt: what do users think?
Brad Lemmon: Fantastic event. Katie was brilliant and enjoyed our Stag Humour and Axe Throwing Nicknames.
Alexander Maddison: Had a fantastic time! Our instructor (Ethan) was really laid back, full of humour and above all really knee his stuff. I'd whole heartedly recommend a session to anyone looking for a fun activity in York.I suspect myself and my partner will be going again someday.
Aaron Brierley: Group had a great time, our host Ethan was excellent! Would recommend
Sarah Graham: Liam was an excellent instructor
Jason Woods: Luke was very funny and a very good host.
Bettina Thorpe: I totally loved this fantastic experience the instructor was fantastic knowledgeable great fun and very instructive. Axe throwing should be a weekly exercise not had this much fun in ages. Everyone should have a go. Totally loved this place
No Name: Cannot thank the staff enough for our experience!!! We’d had a family emergency resulting in my partner being in hospital at the time of our session. Forgot to inform them so when they found out they offered to rearrange for whenever at no cost and it honestly meant the world to us and completely rescued what was otherwise a ruined birthday. The experience was so much fun and was a perfect balance between taking the time to learn but also having a laugh. Huge huge thank you to everyone here and will deffo be attending again!!
annabel reeder: We had a great time! Katie understood the competition between the two of us and embraced it for us! She had a great sense of humour which was hugely appreciated!
Johana Melo: Fun evening. Tried the experience for the first time, our instructor Katie was very kind and patient which help us all have a bit of fun while trying something new. An activity able to do alone or in company, as it start as practice and then turn into a bit of a friendly competition. I recommend it.
Penny Lawson: We spent a very enjoyable afternoon at the hilt. Liam encouraged us all on mastering the basics, giving personal feedback to develop our skills. He then went on to teach us trick shots and referee our matches. Great fun and we will return!
Andrew Comery: What an amazing experience, didn't know what to expect and was totally blown away.Stephen was fantastic at showing you how to throw the and was really passionate about making sure you got the most fun from your day
T Mc: Enjoyed axe-throwing for the first time. Would highly recommend. Massive thanks to Katie who helped us to learn how to do it.
meghan: had the best time and our coach Katie was amazing! everyone got super involved and had so much fun! great experience
Tom Dean: Excellent afternoon, loads of fun! Katie was a brilliant host and teacher. Highly recommend. We will be back!
Beth H-C: Amazing time made by our coach Katie
Luke Ansell: Katie was amazing, taught us well and created a competitive environment
Alienor Hewson: Great day out, Katie was an amazing coach. Really helpful with getting the technique right, definitely the reason I won. Would happily come back again and again
Elisa Winstanley: Absolutely amazing time at The Hilt this weekend!! We came as part of our staff day out! It was brilliant! The host (think he was called Aaron!) was fab!! He got us all going after the safety ‘chat’!! We took turns and played against each other! Aaron kept tabs on the scores and changed things up after each round!! Would highly recommend this with a group of friends!!
Sunjay Chauhan: We were a group of 6 who have never tried this activity before and were all looking forward to the experience.Katie who was our dedicated coach gave us a warm welcome as soon as we entered the premises. Katie then went on to provide advice and practical help during our whole session. The whole experience was divided into sections, learning how to hold and throw the axe at the target, then a sequence of games so we could all compete against each other.Highly recommended activity - great fun and of course a day to day practical skill that everyone needs!
Mark Cheesman: Booked this as it was part of the York Pass. Great experience Tuesday pm, we were the only 2 in the place, so a private session. Excellent guidance from our Viking tutor, who made the whole hour great fun Really enjoyed doing something different! Being in our 60s though. it probably wouldn't be our thing on a crowded eve or weekend!
Simon Stewart-Smith: Axe throwing here was great fun. Organised really well and the instructors were very helpful and funny too.

Rainbows Ceramics Painting Studio: what do users think?
Jasmine Efendi: Lovely Place!I was gifted some items to paint at home which, sadly, got lost. Having found the items a long while after, I was nervous about coming in and asking for new paints (as the ones I had dried out due to the period of time that has passed) and to have the items galzed & fired. The staff were very understanding, let me stay and paint in the shop for free on a busy Saturday and, when I didn't manage to finish painting my items by their closing time, even gave me more paints to take home to finish off. Thanks to the lovely staff my cat now has a very cool personalised cat bowl and I have a cute figurine of my cat.Very pleased :)
Little Sprite: Best part of my trip to York! Tiktok trend made me bring my husband to paint. The ladies were very helpful and explained everything clearly. Had a wonderful painting, and it made my inner child very happy! I felt it was Autistic friendly too, as there was a very calm atmosphere and not too crowded or noisy. Couldn't do pickup as I travelled from South, but the ladies were happy to post my item, im very excited to see it after it's been in the kiln! Hoping to come back soon, thabkyou Rainbows for a great day!
Matya Dodd: Came for my sisters hen do, big group of 15, had lots of fun. Thanks so much
Chloe Elise: Really lovely experience at the studio! All of the staff were friendly and explained the process well. They had loads of paints, tools and ceramics to choose from. We had visited York for the weekend and didn’t have intentions of visiting the studio until we walked past and saw how fun it looked. Our ceramics are being posted out to us (£8 + £1 each for extra items) as we won’t be in York again for awhile. I do believe that they will store them for you until you can go back though which is great :) thank you! We will definitely be returning when we come to York again.
Rachel Burley: My friend brought me here for the first time for my birthday. The staff are really friendly and helpful and we had a lovely time painting for a few hours. We went again today and really enjoyed it!
Carolynne Walters: We went here with family while enjoying a visit to York four our daughter’s fourth birthday. The four children in our group painted ceramics they had chosen themselves and they had a great time. The adults enjoyed themselves, too. Prices start from £12, which is for a tile, and there is a wide range of designs to choose. Prices include ceramic, paints, brushes, water, stamps, pens, glazing and delivery. Aprons are also available at no extra cost. You can also buy hot drinks, pop and nibbles. We were there for two hours. They also do adults- only sessions, but adults can visit without children at anytime. A fun and relaxing visit with friendly staff.
Ce R: Excellent little place. Went today with my toddler, the staff were excellent and so accommodating and friendly. It is very relaxed and a lovely calm atmosphere. Had a really fun morning and will definitely be going again. 100% recommend.
Dec: Came here for personalised Christmas presents with my 2 year old. Anna and another lady served me and they were fantastic, really helpful with design and personalisation of the items, thank you and I'm sure we'll be back soon!
Eva Mai: Really lovely shop, the staff are friendly and they'll post your items after firing! Great item selection.
Gail Hodder: Stopping here was a great thing to on a rainy afternoon, at the beginning of my vacation in York. I made my own souvenir coffee mug. They have great colours, and lots of tools! Friendly, warm service. I was able to pick up my fired mug at the end of my vacation! It was so fun!!!!
Harriet Sleight: I made a booking for a large group of university students for a networking away day and the team at Rainbows ceramics simply couldn't have been more helpful! Everyone had the best day painting a mug for their office and the staff were so helpful and friendly to all. Cannot wait to go back!
Kate B: Really relaxing place to go.
Megan Larkin: Lovely lovely studio with fab staff. If you’re looking to leave a review for Rainbows in the USA this is NOT the right studio- this studio is in England, York!!! The one star recent reviews are likely misdirected following a viral TikTok about a studio in the USA with the same name. Just came here to spread some love for Rainbows and testify how wonderful they are!!!
Mark R: Set a couple of hours aside for a peaceful enjoyable experience.Every year the kids are excited when we visit Rainbow Ceramics because they enjoy painting new things for their rooms. The anticipation of waiting a week to get them back after being fired in the kiln is equally exciting. It’s amazing to see how vibrant the colours are when they’re glazed.Don’t think Rainbow is just for kids - it’s not. A great place to make something bespoke for the home, many adults frequent the shop to build a collection. It’s not cheap, but for what you get it’s well worth it. Just remember that you have to wait a week for the end product. Not staying in York? - they’ll post it for you (at your cost).
Lyn Dodds: Thank you so much to Rainbows for repairing my daughter's hand painted wine glass.fantastic job.so kind.Wonderful place and staff.lyn 🤩xx
Carly Whitewood: I've been on three or four occasions and always enjoy it. Can't wait to bring my toddler when she's a bit older!
Jemma Taylor: We have been visiting rainbow ceramics for a number of years on our breaka to York. It's a lovely studio for children and adults. My 2 boys really enjoy painting and all our good are posted safely to enjoy at home 🌈
Hannah: Wonderful place! Lovely staff, I’ve been multiple times. Most recently with a group of women after hours, wonderful communication with the cafe before attending. And professional and friendly staff on the night. 10/10 I’ll be going again!
Kitty TV: Great customer service!
Sarah Lydia: lovely, lovely place! great choice of things to paint, wide selection of colours, lovely staff, food choices and good background music! Everything a place like this should be! We used to go all the time when we lived close by, now we make sure we visit everytime we visit the city! Definitely worth a trip :)
agata lambrechts: I’ve visited the Rainbow Ceramics many times - with my children, at birthday party, and during adult evenings. I loved it every time! The prices are reasonable, the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the selection of ceramics to paint is huge! We’ve recently moved away from York buy I’ll continue to recommend it to friends in the area!

All Bar One York: what do users think?
Ellie Steers: Stui was brilliant, very friendly and attentive - thank you so much for a great bottomless brunch 😊
Ben Summers: Great atmosphere, what a vibe… Food was fantastic!! Best burger 🍔 around!!
Paul Riley: Great
Emma Elsey-Jeffree: The food was fine but the service was shocking. The waiters don't take the orders so there is no excuse for all the tables being dirty and a ridiculously long wait for drinks. We weren't offered sauces salt viniger ect with the food. Mains came out before the starters and I'm pretty sure they were just put under the hot plate while we were eating. Non of the wait staff seemed to want to be there or care.
Emily Lunn: We came for a meal today, on a very QUIET Sunday. The service was absolutely terrible. We barley existed to your waitresses, our mains came before our starters and all the surrounding tables were left dirty for a hour long visit. They were turning everyone away even though I can count roughly 5 tables sat through our stay. Really need training on service.Appalling
Lee Meager: Dreary pub with no life, awful depressing music
G U: Terrible service and terrible food… rubbery calamari, awful chips and the drinks didn’t arrive till we had to go to the bar asking for them.
H OK: Adhu was very friendly and efficient. Lovely furnishings, lots of seating and good atmosphere. Food was fine although the quesadilla was a little small for the price. Would return
Danny: Had a burger here, the food was lovely but absolutely shocking service!
Somak Banerjee: Food is very good but a little bit high on price
Alan Clarke: Good food but a bit pricey
Bob “Bob” Trickett: Ok, but lacked atmosphere
S Meadows: Large restaurant in the shopping district... Great cocktails and the food was lovely!!!One negative was that it was flooded with at least 5 Hen parties at the same time on Saturday afternoon!!! It may be best to visit on a week day.
Adam: We did the bottomless brunch here. Highlights were the service from Stui and the drinks. The food was absolutely fine but probably could be a bit better. Felt like it was decent value.
William Mackenzie: Had a lovely meal here tonight. 4 of us out for a birthday meal.Starters excellent,2x steaks cooked to perfection and the paella full of seafood and very tasty. 1xBurger also very tasty. The service was excellent.Very reasonably priced especially with drinks as well. Will be back.
Dazneyland: Been past many times and never stepped foot, but had the pleasure of being able to for an after wedding event.Staff friendly and accommodating, definitely recommend
Vicky Haigh: Tried to order food but you can't unless you are booked in for food (we were at a table) because the kitchen "might not have ordered enough". This place needs to get a grip! - When we tried to order a potion of chips it wasn't that busy. Don't worry my business went elsewhere.
Emma Walker: Very accommodating and good price lunch deal
Deirdre Holmes: Staff were very friendly my meal wasn't that good but the cocktails were lovely
Zee Jaweed: Amazing! Absolutely fantastic. Great food & service. Try the bottomless brunch 10/10
Ismail Yilmaz: I love eating the food and drinking the drink

Mindlock Escape Games: what do users think?
John Clarke: Really good fun, enjoyed it and the staff were great. Friendly and enthusiastic
christine heap: Great fun and well organised. Sam was very helpful . This was my first time in an Escape room, I shall definitely have another go!
Nivi Bhide: Great experience! Very friendly staff
Chris Terry: Brilliant viking themed escape room, good for first timers and experienced, good mix of puzzles and the team went the extra mile to arrange an extra special surprise for us which was really kind of them. Hope to go back to do the other puzzles!
Loopy E: Went with a hen party. Absolutely brilliant. We did the cluedo room.
Vicky McLaren: We did the Cluedo room, fantastic!I took my teens 16 and 12 and it was a good level for us, great mix of clues and challenges. Francis was so welcoming and encouraging. Will definitely come back to do another room.Highly recommend.
Urapa Laohapongchana: It was an incredible experience for the family. We played the Dark Arts room and it was great fun. It was made very well with many clues for you to solve and hidden items along the way. Staff was friendly and we would love to come back.
Klaudiusz Ozog: Awesome escape room. Received an amazing introduction from Sam. Very warm and friendly staff and great environment. We did a cluedo themed escape room and was awesome. We received a few extra minutes in the end as we were so close to finding the murderer!!Sam and Millie were absolutely amazing. Super helpful and gave us clues when we were stuck during the hour.
Izziné Young: Lovely staff. Very nice puzzles. Great vibe.
Colin Hauge: Did the Dark Arts quest as a family of two adults and three kids 12-15, we loved it. Staff really friendly
Peach Perk: Visited today and had a brilliant time in the Viking room. Really well themed, staff were lovely and gave some good hints and tips.Great value for money and really fun way to spend an hour in York. Whole process from enquiry emails and questions answered to booking was top notch. Would 100% recommend and can't wait to visit next time we're in York. Thanks Mindlock!!
Brandon Gebka: My partner Joanne bought me vouchers for Christmas for four people to visit Mindlock which were misplaced. Mindlock had all of her details on file as purchasing the vouchers, could confirm that the vouchers had not been used, but still refused to provide replacements. We even offered to wait to make our visit until the day before the vouchers 6 month expiry to make absolutely sure that they wouldn't be used later, but Mindlock still refused. Completely unacceptable treatment of customers and a selfish company that has completely ripped us off. There are plenty of other Escape Room options in York. Please choose another that is more worthy of spending your money on.Update following Owner's response:Very interesting that you have now clearly confirmed in your comment that there is (as we said) an expiration date on the voucher - when your reasoning for not allowing us to use the vouchers on their last day of validity (thereby also addressing all of your concerns about them being used at a later date) was that there is no expiration date. Seems that dishonesty could be added to my reasoning for my one star review.
Ben Storer: Really good escape room, everything worked really well in the room. Staff there was friendly and helpful. one of the best escape room experiences I've had.Would go again.
Simon Stewart-Smith: Fun escape rooms each with different themes. We did the Viking one which was a good challenge and well organised. The people there were really friendly and attentive!
Samuel Butler: Went for a day around York, this was the first escape room we tried, the staff was friendly the Valhalla room was challenging and fun, would recommend to anyone and would look forward to trying another...
Katherine Page: We decided to go last minute and very glad we did! Francis was really helpful and welcoming, the room (Viking Valhalla) was challenging but lots of fun, a great theme and really well put together. Looking forward to coming back and trying some of the other rooms!
James Stell: Been to many different escape rooms this one was by far one of my favourites the guy working their yesterday was very upbeat and made the experience all that little bit better, well done sir you made the game and experience worth while will deffo be back
Daniel Mann: Great experience , we did the cludeo room, but unfortunately, we didn't escape! My son (age 10) loved it . This is something we all love to do as a family , something very different and entertaining. The host was very helpful and throughout.
Tom Smith: We had our first escape room experience here yesterday and had a great time, finishing just under the wire. Well presented and enjoyable room & puzzles (Viking Valhalla), and very friendly and welcoming staff.
Indigo Greens: Thank you for a wonderful time at Mindlock in York. A group of 5 of us escaped the Dark Arts room! It was so much fun with many things to unlock and hidden extras... I won't spoil the fun but you need to use all your senses in this escape room! Our host was wonderful, he fully explained the game and the jokes made it more engaging. Plus who doesn't love dressing up in a wizards cape!!This was our second escape room at Mindlock York, The first was Cluedo, which we didn't escape as a party of two but it was equally as fun.Time is ticking.... get your next adventure booked!
Diane Watts: We were a party of eight aged from 32 to 76 split into two Cluedo rooms filled with hidden clues. Everyone of us had such a brilliant time thoroughly recommend this for all ages and abilities (Unfortunately you do have one flight of stairs when you first arrive). The staff are fun and help make it a great experience.

Steve: Our 1st visit at ask Italian. We were in York for a day out and decided to give it a try.The restaurant wasn’t very busy and we were seated quite quickly. The waitress offered us a complimentary homemade lemonade which wasn’t really that nice however even though she didn’t smile she explained how we were to order either by phone or the traditional way.We all had these calzones which were very small considering we have had them at other Italian restaurants and have been much bigger. The calzone itself was ok but at £16 for what you get I found to be expensive. It didn’t feel like a normal Italian restaurant as there just wasn’t that Italian vibe going on.I personally don’t think I would visit another ask Italian 👎🏻

Mick O'Dee: Would give it no stars if possible. Stood by front for 5 mins. Staff saw us but decided to ignore us. Walked out. Pretty poor service
Kristin Maresca: I’m honestly struggling to understand what people have eaten here that they rate as ‘stunning’ and ‘delicious’. The building is lovely, yes, and the staff are kind and helpful, but the food leaves so much to be desired. The arrancini were barely warm in the middle, and the sauce was lukewarm, as well. The dough balls for the fondue were more like pieces of old pizza crust; they didn’t seem fresh at all.Granted, I had a salad with chicken and pancetta (not a traditionally Italian main), but the chicken was cut into dry and tasteless strips, and the pancetta was barely perceptible - only a few stray bits. The dressing just simply did not taste good. For the price, it was probably one of the worst salads I have ever had.Perhaps I am asking a lot from a chain restaurant, but based on the reviews, I thought the food quality would be much higher. Maybe they excel at pasta? I don’t know that I can give it another chance, though. I’ll be heading back to one of our more ‘boutique’ Italian restaurants in York.
Alexandra: Coming from Belgium just for the baked chocolate gnocchi 3
Cameron Chapman: Probably one of the best Ask Italians I have been to. A grand atmosphere yet also quite a cosy intimate feel too. The staff are always willing to help and will always make you feel welcome. Highly highly recommend

Rehab Piccadilly Cafe Bar Escape Room: what do users think?
Jade Scannella: Nice decor, liked the music, such slow service and terrible drinks. Okay if you want a beer but if you want a spirit and mixer go somewhere else
Amit Das: Nice place to chill out for few drinks and light food. You can take your children as well. I was lucky that I seated on the best sofa, from where you can enjoy the road view and spent quality time with your family/friends.
Ellie Smith: Really enjoyed the escape room, really fun and interactive! Recommend it for couples/small groups.
Wiktor Florczyk: The Escape room is a very cool wizardry experience :)
Kelly harris: Was really fun would definitely recommend trying this
Abigél Kelemen: Nice atmosphere, very chilled place, kind staff. Recommend it.
Karla Lopez-Collazo: So much fun and delicious drinks. Highly recommend the hot chocolate and escape room!
Liz Pretty: Great escape room. Different from the usual I’ve been in. Would recommend to anyone who has a wizarding mind
Callum Calder: Great escape room, nice magical theme. Would recommend
Nick B: Coffee was really good, and the Harry Potter themed escape room was really good fun and challenging, great for families.
A D: Coffee was extremely tasty and a fair price
Dilyn Crvnts: We went for the escape room and safe to say it’s probably the best one I’ve done! Staffs were really helpful and the vibe is really chill!
Emma Costaoec: Bar sympa et ambiance chaleureuse, l’escape game au sous sol et incroyable une activité à recommender sur York
Joanna McInnes: An interesting building with character. Coffee was good. However, £12 for 2 coffees and 2 toasted teacakes seemed excessive. We paid less for tea and the best scones ever at Parlourmade cafè in the centre.
Will Bevan: A very fun escape room for small and big groups. This one is very interactive with lots of clever puzzles. If you like Harry Potter and solving puzzles, it’s a great pick!
Liv & amazing kids: Lovelt chilled coffee shop. Escape Room was nicely done but would think its suited more at younger children rather than older teenagers as we completed it in 36 minutes going at a very slow pace.Be great with kids, but we were underwhelemed with 12yr 15yr and 2 adults. But when feedback was asked for we were told that nobody else has ever said this.. so maybe our expectations were just too high.Staff were very friendly though, and certainly worth a visit with younger children.
reth td6: Very good
-: Great time, escape room was great, but a little quick
Kerry: Served by Vicky tonight, who was incredibly rude when we came in. Acted as though we were a major inconvenience ordering some drinks, as she was in the middle of having a conversation with a friend. Shame as the setting seemed nice with a good menu. Just shocking customer service.***In reply I assumed the girl who served us was called Vicky as this was the name on the till the girl used. The person who served us wore glasses, early to mid twenties and medium build with brown hair. We visited at around 7:30 pm.Had to reply this way as there is no other option to reply without personal contact details.
Harriet C: lovely drinks and customer service from the girl who was working tonight, a good end to my day out in york!!
Samantha Tonge: Stumbled across this cafe by accident as the place we'd planned to go was temporarily closed. Had a fantastic breakfast here. The service and food were great!

We will definitely be going here again when visiting York. I highly recommend anyone looking for amazing food with fantastic staff & atmosphere ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Shufen Liang: Great food and wonderful service! Very one is friendly, gd selection of mains from pizzas to pastas and grills.
Kevin Twist: We decided to give the place a try, and at first things went ok. We were greeted by a friendly member of staff, who promptly showed us to our table. The meals we had were quite tasty to be honest, however the service was exceptionally slow considering the place was less than half full. We ordered our desserts along with an espresso and a latte. The espresso was served along with a bland tiramisu. No latte unfortunately. When we paid our bill, no latte charged I may add, my partner explained to a member of staff that we never received the second coffee. Her response was to ask if we wanted it to go, without any apology. Unfortunately we won’t be going back.

Dasha S: Be aware - this hotel sadly has been a victim to recent hotel industry issues and as such not only lacking 5 star service but also has degraded beyond belief.Sadly, I must report that this hotel cannot be recommended to anyone who has expectation of good service by trained stuff, comfortable beds, 5 star service, great breakfast and management that understands hotel industry and the needs of its customers then sadly you are at the wrong address… oh and if you have allergies get yourself ready to be “killed” or “assassinated”Essentially, this hotel doesn’t respect allergies, there is at least 30 mins wait for a breakfast table as a hotel guest, the duty manager Elliot has probably only finished eliminatory school and has zero understanding of his profession or customer needs, stuff ignores booking and allergies of feather or non feather and what’s worse the hotel is truly unapologetic for what they do - they took away my duvet and had put for the second night of my stay all of sudden feather pillow so I ended up with allergic shock and no duvet, and guess what they refused to make any compensation of the room rate for that night with no duvet and allergic bomb! And we booked two rooms - paid 4 nights and the hotel refused to compensate even one night! Conclusion - if you want to stay at a hotel where sadly management is stuffed by low IQ (Elliott) then you are at the right address. Otherwise, poor service, long wait for anything ordered, no apologies, no skill set to win back and make an unhappy customer happy again - poorly stuffed and skilled place with hard mattresses and hard pillows

G U: Disappointing. Stayed here last year and had a beautiful room. Returned this year because we really liked our room last year. Sadly, this time around we were given a very dated room, not what you’d expect for the £200 price tag. A Premier Inn would have much nicer rooms for a fraction of the price. Needless to say, won’t be returning, despite original plans to come back in July.
