Fiona Copeland: I go to East Parade surgery. The receptionists with the exception of one are very helpful. I usually see the nurse and they are very good and explain things very clearly. On the few occasions that I have seen a doctor they were also very good with the exception of Dr Christopher Murray who I refuse to see.

Peter Quinn: Had to make use of the GP surgery a bit more frequently last few weeks and in spite of known chronic underfunding, staff have been professional, helpful, knowledgeable and kind. Whether using Klinik, phone or in person it all works well. Seen someone personally or appt for family member often next day.

Elizabeth Knighton: Highly recommend this survey. I think the bad reviewers need to remember that the NHS is grossly underfunded and understaffed. I have moved to Manchester and miss this surgery very much - every other survey doesn’t seem to compare. I never struggled to book appointments; yes you have to ring at 8am but it is the same everywhere. I would always have an appointment same day. I mainly used the survey for mental health issues and medication. Every doctor I spoke to was so understanding and empathetic. They complete regular medication reviews and one time when I didn’t ring for my monthly review they called me to check on me. Incredible surgery.

They have swiftly sorted out a repeat prescription - all good!

George Dawe: I am absolutely terrified of doctors and I rang up today after avoiding the doctors for a long time and when I say the receptionist was understanding and empathetic that isn't even close. This women made me feel heard and took the time to make me feel comfortable about making an appointment I cannot give this receptionist enough credit because this is something I have been avoiding for so long and for someone to have the patience with me to make me feel safe and listen to me so I could take the steps to make an appointment I could not appreciate that more.
