Shane Stevenson: Get a lot of letters from relatives in the US with their personalised stamps. So wanted to get my own and found Make Your Mark. Ordered one for myself and my sister. Dealt with Paul to make up our custom stamps. Where I live is famous for its lighthouse and my sister’s house is called the Millrace. So Paul was able to incorporate these into the designs. I’m very impressed with the small details. The clouds aren’t just blank, they have small lined details. Very happy with this purchase. Feel very sophisticated with my fancy paper, personalised stamp and fountain pen. 😉

Laurel Clayson: This was my favorite shop in York. They sell stamps and "just the rubber" in flat packages, perfect for traveling. Hot tip for crafters: they have "handmade by," "knitted by," and "quilted by" type stamps for creating labels for your projects. They also do custom! I do journaling and snail mail art so this place was literally a dream.
Thalassa: A large range of sweet stamps. I was served by a lovely lady. It is nice to see an independent, well-kept shop selling novel products on the high street.
Spencer Hudson: What a fantastic place ,,, all the stamps and pads you could ever want. If there isn’t one you can always have one made , a custom job. Went in with the kids and the staff were amazingly helpful , helping to find just the right one … taking time to explain the options to both my kids. Would have no problem recommending this and visiting again.They had a whole section for school teachers which i imagine would be very useful for encouragement and rewards.
Helen Rees-Heseltine: Visited the shop in July whilst in York . It was my second visit having found the shop last year completely by chance. Absolutely love the shop and the stamps they make. I'm a scrapbooker and had no difficulty finding lots of suitable stamps. The quality of the stamped image is brilliant, especially compared to the polymer ones usually available to scrapbookers, and in my opinion really great value. Can't wait to visit again.

茹一: I placed my order on the 1st of January and they said it would be shipped on the 4th of January, today is the 11th of January and I still haven't received my orderI don't see the point of having an email contact here as it's not very easy to communicate in the language and they won't reply to emails.Today is the 12th of January and I finally received the two stamps I've been waiting for, they are beautifully made, so it was worth the wait.i am a keen writer and handwritten, so I will probably go back for a second time, although the uk stamps are probably half the price expensive compared to China

That inspired me and I ordered a ccatalouge abd showed it to my friend and we put in an order.I have been to the shop a few times over the years and love it. I've been crafting on and off since that first order. Just received an order yesterday.Its been such an awful year. My sister died suddenly last Boxing Day and I miss her so much but she loved it if I gave her a card I made so thats my inspiration.She was creative in different ways: musically, writing and dress making but she would say she couldn't make cards as "her eyes would glaze over withboredom" but that made me laugh 😊Thankyou Make Your MarkMarjorie x

Colin Phillips: When staying in York over the Easter period, I stumbled across this wonderful little coin shop, and on a couple of occasions made purchases of some Royal Mint BU coin sets, which were very keanly priced, the lady in the shop was delightful and very helpful. We have very few coin dealers in Essex, apart from the one I always use in Saffron Walden, and shops such as these are tragically too few now. We are returning to the North East for another break shortly, and I will make a point of looking up Paul Dawson Coins when in York. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Paul Dawson Coins.

Luuta: Typical Rymans, but the current financial crunch is effecting them more than others. The great deals of old are long gone and prices, as with any shop, are going up.The shop itself, like all Rymans, is crowded and poorly organised, and could do with a refit, thinning out the products slightly to make more room for browsing. But this branch is no different from any other and their range is very good. I think that we should be grateful that they're still in operation, actually.

Boo Boo: I had 2 separate Too good to go bags to collect, 1 on my way into York & the other on the way out. The staff was more than helpful and very nice. Both collections were quick and relatively effortless, different food in each bag was lovely.
