Sally Long: I’ve been working with Ryan for the last six months. He has been fantastic throughout, professional, motivating and always encouraging. I asked him for circuit based training and he has come up with different circuits each week which has helped to keep my interest and motivation. My fitness and stamina have improved hugely and I’ve even lost some weight. I would thoroughly recommend him.

Rachel McNichol: I started at TS 6 months ago. I had always been fairly fit & active but over the last 7 or 8 years I'd gained a lot of weight & lost a lot of confidence. I needed personal support, a private space & a lot of motivation to get me going. That's exactly what I got. Ryan has professionally tailored every workout to not only increase my strength & fitness but also to make me FEEL like I was achieving something every week. With my 50th birthday looming I am 2 stone lighter, able to run 8k comfortably, drinking less & my resting heart rate has dropped from 65bpm to 50. I still have a few pounds to lose but I now have the confidence (and the workouts) to get there.

Susan Griffin: Ryan developed a personalised training plan based around my specific circumstances. Each session there is progression, but there is also a good amount of variation to keep things interesting. It's a different experience to have someone to be able to comment on form and adapt things for you versus a gym class where you don't get that. The studio is very well equipped. The sessions are well run and organised. It is also easy to rearrange sessions if other commitments get in the way.

Tom has been brilliant in working with my specific needs and truly understands what is necessary to help me reach my goals. His detailed approach to nutrition and fitness plans have exceeded my expectations. Tom is someone who makes you feel very comfortable in the somewhat vulnerable position of attempting self improvement, and I have seen the results. Tom is just a cool guy and easy to talk to. His style is warm and personable. He listens well to your needs and is both educational and supportive. His professionalism is beyond a doubt unrivalled. Oliver Wiltshire: Unfortunately I did not fully enjoy my experience, as I felt that the concerns I raised during my 12-week course were not addressed. In particular, I did not receive any nutritional coaching or package beyond a booklet explaining what a balanced diet was, and a healthy recipe ebook. I expected guidance during the sessions, but I did not receive this. I was often told that my concerns would be addressed starting from the next session, including reviewing what I uploaded to MyFitnessPal, but these were never delivered. I was also often referred to content which was not shared with me.Finally, my final session was booked incorrectly. I booked a 7pm session during my previous session, which I entered into my calendar app on the spot. When I turned up for the session, I was told that it had actually been booked in for 6pm (which was false), and another client had been booked into the 7pm slot. I was told they would see what they could do, but unfortunately was not provided with any sort of compensation for this whatsoever. When I raised this issue afterwards, Tom has repeatedly claimed that I had opened and read email reminders - I had never received any of these reminders, so I do not know what he is referring to. He also did not offer an alternative appointment.

We really look forward to the sessions each week and both feel healthier and stronger in just the short time we've been going.Ryan plans fun and dynamic sessions to keep us improving week on week and we are looking forward to many more workouts in the future - challenges included! I can absolutely say it was a good decision, I have made more progress in the last few months working with Ryan, than I have made on my own in years.The whole process has been a positive experience for me, and I would recommend them to anyone looking to spur a change in themselves, or their lifestyle in general. It has also been about more than just the workouts and training, the nutritional advice and tools provided to me have been key in achieving what I set out to.As for what TS Personal Training & Nutrition is actually like, forget any notions you may have of drill sergeant types shouting at you while pushing you to the absolute limit, that’s not what the place is about. They will push you to achieve your goals, but in a way that is encouraging and helpful. So whatever your goals may be, and however modest, time at TS Personal Training & Nutrition I would regard as time well spent.

Holly Taymar: I've been going to Xavi's classes for about 2 years now, and can honestly say that I leave every class feeling better than when I arrived! He teaches in a way that everybody in the class feels included and pushes themselves to their own limits. Nobody is left behind. Xavi gives clear instructions, demonstrates the activities and positively encourages everyone to get the most out of their own bodies. On top of this, he seems to really enjoy teaching, which is awesome. Everybody needs a Xavi in their life. Highly recommended!

matt leivers: Very professional but relaxed at the same time, great environment to build confidence and ability, i have thoroughly enjoyed my membership and couldn’t recommend Podfit highly enough! So much so i have introduced friends of mine to them! Alex my PT makes me feel at ease and has helped me achieve things I wasn’t capable of before. Anybody starting out with exercise should 100% begin here, it is worth every penny!!

Helen Botterill: I am now approaching my 1st year anniversary at Podfit and can't say enough how this has now become an inclusive part of my life.After many years of not being in the gym I took the decision to get back into a more fitter structure finding that although I have a very active job I was starting to put on a little weight and had to take decisive action!!I joined the semi private sessions attending the studio and well coached by Neil and then lock down came. Podfit became more diverse moving to virtual fitness.This has worked so well for me. I can pick which session is best for me (sometimes 3 a day!!) The fitness trainers are great and work around your abilities and can still advise on technique. It is more convenient as being at home i can get straight back into the housework/work from home etc. I can also fit many sessions around my working life. I have since met many new virtual friends. I would highly recommend Podfit whichever way you decide to keep fit.

Claire Hodgkins: I started PODFIT a year ago now. I think it was the best decision I've ever made for my fitness or rather lack of. I was so unfit even the stairs leading up to the studio were a mammoth task. Not a good combination of my age, weight and being 2 years into Menopause. Fast forward a year, oh how times have changed! I'm now able to manage 15,000+ steps a day and the strength I have is fabulous. During lockdown they still managed to train everyone either virtual or 1 to 1 (mine was on the Knavesmire). I couldn't have done this on my own. These guys are amazing and they know their stuff. I would highly recommend them 👌

Simon Bean: The one on one training and support is the best I’ve experienced. As all the equipment in the pod is for your use exclusively, the session is very efficient and productive. No waiting around to use equipment and everything is thoroughly cleaned between appointments which is extra reassuring in the current pandemic. The trainers really know their stuff and adapt around you so it feels like extremely tailored training. Since going to Podfit my mental and physical health has come on leaps and bounds. I’ve got energy and I’m way more focused and productive at work too. I reckon an hour at Podfit is at least 3 times as productive as an hour in the gym alone. Who am I kidding, I’d never be as productive training alone!
Emma Nabbs: I have been training with Jack for 5 months now and I would definitely recommend Podfit. I am feeling stronger, fitter and have gained back my confidence to go to the gym alone. The private sessions mean no self-consciousness like in a public gym and I am pushed to my limits every session. Definitely get my money's worth.
Mark Calvert: I had a goal,(to lose weight and get fitter), but was struggling with momentum and motivation.I gave Podfit a try after a suitably friendly and comprehensive chat with the owner, Neil.I decided to go for it and committed to 3 sessions a week for a year!!!My PT, Jack, quickly understood my needs, limited capabilities and has steadily helped me to start my personal journey. He is friendly, supportive, extremely knowledgeable and has proven to be a tremendous help with both physical fitness and, just as importantly, nutrition. He does not make it feel like a traditional gym, more of a friendly club of likeminded people, all shapes, sizes and ages. I actually look forward to going!!I have noticed my eating habits change for the better and am feeling so much fitter in a relatively short time.I thoroughly recommend Podfit, whether it be short number of sessions or a long term health and wellbeing strategy.It’s working for me.

Another 4 months on I have lost another 4kgs, i now have a flatter stomach, Abs appearing, and following a full nutrition sheet week in and week out, I am looking and feeling fantastic.For me being able to train in a great environment where no one cares about how you look, put me at ease straight away, as everyone is there for the same reason.
