Teresa Keen: From booking in to discharge I was met with nothing but care and kindness . Thank you York for making my day relaxed and pain free whilst I was having my procedure done especially the lovely team in theatre who were just delightful.
Tyler Bailey: Went today for eye surgery staff were kind,patient and understanding.The guy in the recovery room was patient with me even though the anesthetics were still working.Only complaint would be parking availability but what do you expect from a big hospital in a city.

Peter Routledge: Came in with an emergency, was promptly seen, triaged, then sent to surgery. Recovery and ward 14 staff were wonderful. The NHS may have challenges but the experience I have had has highlighted how wonderful it can be.

Andrew Snape: Emergency visit to A&E was handled superbly by the staff, we were taken through x-rays, CT scans, plastering, examination, and stitching up very professionally and cheerfully. They had some challenging clients in that evening but kept polite and helpful to all of them. They provided the best solution to a bad situation.

Elaine Wood: I go to York Hospital quite a lot for different types of appointments,and as yet I haven't had a any bad experiences. I know that sometimes an appointment can't be on time because of under staffed,or other holdups. The staff from the receptionist right up to the doctor, surgeon or whoever you see have been kind, compassionate and honest. They have always helped me to the best of their ability.

James David Morley: Very pleased with the hospital and staff. My wife has had three very bad nose bleeds which our local hospital said was not serious enough to treat straight away even though we had to call for an ambulance because she had passed out and her blood pressure was very low. So she was told it would be 22 months to wait. She had an appointment at 3-10pm out by 3-30pm and the problem fixed.

Tess Viney: I went in for an operation on 10th March and all the nurses, doctors and anaesthetists were amazing from me arriving to leaving. All the staff are a credit to the hospital. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!

Mo Dickinson: Great staff. Food a bit naff but I was not really there for the food. I had a TKR and just wanted to get home. Had to stay in longer as I had a leaky wound. Now home and healing well. Cannot thank the nurse who talked me through a panic attack enough. She was amazing.

Mac McLoughlin: I had a total knee replacement in November 2020. The care that I received was second to none, from the reception staff, the operator, cleaning staff, ward staff, physiotherapists, x-ray, laboratory staff, theatre and medical team and the nursing staff. If I have missed anyone out,my apologies. Everything was clean and sanitised. All the staff were friendly, helpful and thoroughly professional. Everything was explained to me and there was always help when I needed it.Here I am about 4 months postop and everything is going really well. I am still trying to get more flexion so that i can ride both my push bike and motorcycle. Nearly there. I am walking much better than I have been able to for over 15 years.Thank you to all the staff who made this all possible. I give thanks for you and pray that you will all stay safe and well.RegardsMac McLoughlin

From arrival until I left all the staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. And nothing to much trouble. A huge thank you to everybody from Mr gibbons and his team. To all the ward staff you were brilliant. I highly recommend the ramsay hospital.
