Isaac Beight-Welland: Have had a few visits to this lovely cafe since its ownership change to Diana's Cafe. The food and staff are always fantastic and my speciality coffee and thick slice of homemade cake come to 5 pounds, a bargain considering its central location close to The Shambles...Would definitely recommend the Mozzarella and Pesto toastie, 5 pounds and had crisps and a side salad on the side which was a nice touch.Nitrogen ice cream is fun to watch and definitely an experience if you are visiting York as nowhere else seems to offer it. Top notch.Vegetarian options: Half of the nitrogen ice cream has vegan options, menu items seem to be easily alterated to become veggie.

Mike Rouse-Deane: Diana's Cafe was quite a small off the beaten track little place. Really sweet. Came in and ordered a nice bacon omelette. Staff were really friendly. Unfortunately having one toilet meant there was a bit of a backlog of people wanting it all of a sudden. The food was a bit slow coming out but delicious all the same. Definitely a nice little place to visit if you're needing a sit down and a bite to eat.

Great service, relieved to see they take contactless payments as I was caught without cash on this occasion. Superb quality ice cream: I had a scoop each of Rhubarb and Lemon Curd, and Maggie the Greyhound equally enjoyed the tub of Vanilla. Friendly service from Ryan, too. Many thanks for adding a very satisfied zip in our step on the remainder of the dog walk!

Stefanie Brown: As expected some of the ice creams had sold out...They didn't have the ice-cream that we wanted...However the one's that we had were amazing...!The staff were still very busy... Rosemary Macneil: We visited Helmsley recently and visited Ryeburns for an ice cream. We had black cherry and rum and raisin. I've never tasted icecream like it. It was amazing. I don't know why we've never tried it before but will definitely go back.
