DPD are next to useless, but the gamertech guys, even though delays with pick up and delivery were not their fault they bumped my playstation up the qué and returned it express delivery for free. Their communication is excellent, and most importantly my PS5 is working perfectly again

Joe Wright: Can't recommend gamer-tech enough. I had a faulty hdmi port on my ps5 which needed replacing, cex and other chains told me I'd be waiting 3-4 weeks for repair gamer-tech had it done within an hour ps5 back up and running in no time
Michael Haab: We took an ipad pro that wasn't charging to Gamertech on Saturday, it was fully repaired on Monday. They were very transparent, the ipad in question has a small crack on the corner of the screen and they told us before it was booked in that removing the screen could cause the crack to get worse and it may need a screen replacement and gave us full pricing if that was the case.When it was repaired they didn't need to change the screen so we onky got charged for the charging port replacement.Excellent service and communication, I will use Gamertech for any tech repairs in the future.

Colin Reed: I thought my 16 year old iPod had sadly bitten the dust - it would only play about 3 songs before seemingly needing a re-charge. But, after giving up finding a replacement, I found Gamer-Tech online and they came to the rescue! I sent my iPod off to them - they diagnosed the problem as a faulty hard drive which they then changed for a SSD. iPod now working perfectly again - I now have a 128gb drive as opposed to 80gb original. Great service - very pleased. Can't recommend them enough.

Scott in particular was super helpful giving me guidance on a killteam starter set and informing me on how to play and what to progress to!Even more so we ended up building a model of the month which we had no idea about until today! Which was an awesome experience.All in all this store was fantastic you had guys playing a game of 40k to us who were pretty much just painters but came out feeling a little more part of the gang!

Josh Atkinson: Me and my wife went during the 'Paint a free miniature' promotion. We showed up with our miniature dachshund and were served by Alison who was super friendly and helpful.We both got to choose to paint an ultramarine or sigmar knight and then guided us step by step with the different paints and techniques. As added fun they take your miniatures to a small battlefield and let you have a turn fighting tyranids.The idea is super fun and we had a great time. Our dog got lots of attention and pets too. Highly recommend.

Jonny Polhill: Excellent customer service and great products. I support an individual who is autistic, to go to GAME regularly. I would like to commend and thank the staff at GAME Monks Cross and in particularly Claire. When supporting adults with learning difficulties and mental health issues more often than not people will talk to me rather than the individual. This has never been the case with Claire ,in particular ,at GAME. She has always spoke directly to them even though they require support from me. This may seem such a small thing but means the world to the individuals I support being seen as an equal and not as someone who requires help to access the community, simply they are not patronised. The individual actively looks forward to their visits always asking if Claire will be there, they are given time when there and patience and they trust what Claire tells them about the products in a way they can understand. It is these "little things" giving time to people no matter what there needs are that make the experience fun and something to look forward to and actually something that means alot more than just a shopping trip. Only downside is one of the members of staff was quite unpleasant and almost rude to people which my partner and I found a bit off-putting.

Pete Cowley: Played the 18hole Old Fosse course today off the yellows.It was in excellent condition and is a very flat parkland, tree lined course.Excellent test of golfing skills.Some of the holes are very long even off the yellows 460yds+ par 4's; 18th was a 560yds par 5.I would recommend a visit to all.The clubhouse looks quite modern and the Pro shop is well equipped for most tastes.All the staff were very friendly and polite.I'd visit again with hesitation

Jay Kistasamy: Deceptively tricky course. Flat long fairways, lined by trees and bunker hazards. Excellent condition with nice clubhouse. Food was outstanding, british fare. Had a great day in group visit and thinking of joining as a member.

John Sim: Played the “Old Foss” course today for the first time. £21 winter green fee. Exceptional value for money. Lovely course in good condition despite the amount of rain that has fallen in the last few days. Not a particularly difficult course although one does have to be straight off the tee as most fairways are tree lined and a couple of long par 5’s so that’s where the shots can ebb away. I’m a 9.2 WHS and shot a 79 so decent first outing. Lovely club house with very friendly staff. The young man in the pro shop was very friendly and accommodating. Will certainly be back. Would be 5 star but the greens had just been spiked and were obviously bobbly, so that was the only downside, anything with 2 feet was a gimme to account for that. Otherwise, great. 👍

Phil Bargh: Made very welcome by staff and members throughout the day. Course in good condition, and plenty of run on the farways. Rough not too much of a problem as grass not dense, so off line hits generally ease to find the ball. Greens firm and in good condition.Played with two members who were most helpful advising of bunkers and routes into the greens.Clubhouse quite nice, good selection drinks on the bar, had 2 course meal which was really good, especially the Apple Pie & Custard.Good test of golf and recommended to play.

Sharon Valentine: I find anything to do with change in phone technology stressful and was filled with trepidation when I walked into the store. However I came away feeling happy and relieved which was due to Louise. She guided me throughout everything. She’s amazing! She’s efficient knowledgeable and very understanding to technophobes with special needs like me. She didn’t make me feel uncomfortable at all and I highly recommend this store.

TONY FITZSIMMONS: I went into the Select shop on Spurriergate in York on Monday afternoon on the off-chance that I could get a problem fixed with my Apple iPhone ID. As I entered the store Jason immediately approached me and offered assistance. He was able to concisely explain and rectify the issue in a quiet, courteous manner. It was a pleasure to be assisted by such a helpful, thoughtful young man.
