True Pawtential: what do users think?

Julie Clipperton: Fantastic experience, our puppy loved every minute. Nikki was a brilliant teacher.

David Pickett: I cannot recommend Jane enough to dog owners. We wanted some behaviour training for our Bedlington Whippet who had developed some alarming habits around strange dogs.Jane’s help and support were first rate and I learnt so much about my dog and how to control his behaviour. Each session was well planned and followed up with detailed notes and homework for us both. Going forward thanks to Jane we now know how to help him around strange dogs so he gets a positive experience with them. Even better I learnt a lot about myself and my relationship with my dog.

Gillian Hamilton: I'm so glad I found True Pawtential, who were recommended to me by my vets. I've attended classes run by Jane and Niki who both create a relaxed, supportive learning environment which is fun for both owners and dogs, using only positive reinforcement methods. My dog and I have both learned a lot in the time we've been attending. Those first few weeks with a new puppy were absolutely overwhelming and I was so grateful for the support I received in the puppy classes without judgement when I was struggling. The classes are all of a small size. Now my dog's a little older and we're attending the agility sessions which are just so enjoyable. It's great to spend time with my pup doing something he clearly loves.Whether it's one on one or attending a class I would really recommend True Pawtential.

Kay Clements: Niki is a fantastic trainer - really knowledgeable, loads of great hints and tips, and very patient as we got to grips with each skill. I feel so much more confident taking my puppy out now and hope to get a place on the next course so we can keep improving. If you need a dog trainer you can’t go wrong with Niki!

Sarah I'Anson: We took our 10 week old border terrier to puppy classes , and they were brilliant. Small class sizes and lots of time for questions , with a video and fact sheet post class so could practice at home .

kay davies: We used True Pawtential for puppy training classes for our labrador. We were first time dog owners and Nikki was just lovely explaining everything in easy to follow steps using positive reinforcement. She even sent me some videos to practice at home when I asked for some advice on a certain behaviour. The classes helped immensely in training our pup to be the lovely dog he is now. You know that Nikki and Jane have a real love and passion for pooches. Highly recommended.

David Cox: Outstanding service. Experienced, knowledgeable, lovely manner with dogs and owners. Our puppy loved going. We learnt a great deal too!

Julie Hughes: A trainer that actually makes sense. We have worked with Jane for a number of years. First to support our dog that had been attacked by another dog and had many issues, we worked on managing his fear around other dogs before we sadly lost him to cancer. The with our rescue dog who had extreme anxiety, having never been around people or lived I a house for the first 2 yes of her life. Jane and the vet worked together with a plan to support her and this dog now has a fab life, loves people if they have a biscuit for her and loves a cuddle. We are now working with Jane and Niki with our 3rd dog who is 11 months. He's loving the classes and learning that being around other dogs is not just about fun but about behaving and controlling his energy. Both trainers are so consistent, professional and really work hard to help you understand why dogs do what they do. Great training 👏

Tracy Harrison: Positive:ProfessionalismGreat puppy training from 12 weeks old! We learnt to come, sit, leave, drop and walk nicely on a lead. Will definitely be continuing with my lively springer puppy!

Dawn Swales: I have just completed the focus workshop with Jane and previously did the recall workshop with Niki, both trainers are so lovely, helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommended from me and Wally 🐾

Linda Millyard: are great, very happy to answer any questions and really good at guiding you. I would defo recommend them and plan to attend some extras classes in the future with my puppy :

Adele Price: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,Value

Richard Kirkman: Jane and Nikki are brilliant and teach calmly and with confidence. We attended the puppy course and puppy survival course online as still in restrictions zone. We had notes, videos, zoom meetings and both Nikki and Jane were very efficient in replying to emails. Couldn't ask for any more, Amber our puppy has learned a lot of useful commands and I have learnt how to understand and respond to a new puppy in a positive way.

Alice Hardcastle: Positive:Professionalism,QualityFantastic puppy class! Highly recommended. Our puppy has learnt so much from the classes. Thank you!

Jo Parkins: Jane and Nicki are professional, helpful and friendly training who really care about helping you get the best out of your experience of owning a dog.

Andy Braithwaite: .I will recommend the classes forever and a day to anyone who needs/wants puppy classes to help them and their puppy have a closer bond.

Top Barks Dog Training: what do users think?

Sue Terry: I can't thank Mark enough for the help, advice and guidance backed up by logical explanations for why dogs do what you don't want them to do and WHAT WE AS.HUMANS CAN DO. Mark helped today about my 9 month cockerpoo pulling on the lead when she knows it ends where she's off the lead. 1 hour session was all I needed! Tried it out 3 hours later and a successful walk. I just needed to know what to do and my dog just learnt quickly. As long as we embed this strategy no more pulling!! I would highly recommend Mark at Top Barks. It means more fun and enjoyment with your dog!!

Kavannah Eveleigh: Mark is understanding, patient and helpful. He was on hand every step of the way through our 4 sessions. He totally changed our mindset of walking and training our puppy. We loved the positive reinforcement and whistle training which has transformed our dog. Have and will continue to recommend to friends/family.Thank you Mark!

Katherine Lowes: Me and my dog pongo have had 2 sessions of our block of 4 so far and I can already see a huge improvement! The tips and training Mark has given me has improved my confidence and can’t recommend him enough!

Catherine Sanderson: Mark helped me with my cocker poo recently & I found his training very clear to follow, my dog loved him, highly recommended

Ella Cleve: Mark has been really helpful with giving practical advice and tips for our young dog. We come away feeling positive about the steps we are taking and with homework to work on before our next session. All positive and our dog really enjoys himself too. Thanks Mark

Charlotte Wood: We have been having training sessions with Mark for over a year now and I would highly recommend. In the sessions with Mark we have learnt loads of gun dog skills for our pet dog. The skills we have learnt have been great at improving our dogs recall and engagement with us and we can practice the skills out and about which really mentally and physically tires him out and keeps the focus and fun around us. But best of all our dog absolutely loves Marks training sessions.

Nicola Donovan: and expectations. I travelled 2 hours up to York to spend time with him, glean his knowledge and learn the skills. This journey became a regular trip and was worth every penny and second invested. I have seen many dog trainers over the years, and you take great bits from all, but no-one gave me the strong foundation and confidence that mark did, especially when at the mercy of an HPR dog. I cannot recommend Mark highly enough. Both knowledgeable and kind, fair and honest. My relationship with my dog is certainly better for a sprinkling of the ‘Top barks’ magic dust. Thanks so very much ! 🐶Nicola Doris and Daphne

Dominic Barrington: Mark is a godsend. We had four superb sessions with him to help us learn how to train and live with our new puppy. His expertise and ability are manifest, and he has really enabled us to develop our puppy's behaviour, for his benefit and ours! I could not recommend him too highly.

Eleanor Dowsett: trainer, I really can't recommend him enough. We have been working with him for over 2 years as we raised our first puppy. All his training techniques use positive reinforcement only and he has endless ways to adapt them to the dog in front of him. Mark's own pack of dogs are excellent for puppy socialisation but also using as distractions during training. We recently added a second dog to our household and Mark gave us so many tips to set us up for success with introducing them. He is always very patient and happy to answer numerous questions!

Joanne Connelly: Highly recommend Mark, had a great class with him today, I learnt a great deal and my pup responded really well to everything we did. Thank you Mark feeling much more confident moving forward and will definatley be recommending you round camp👍🤩

Danielle Palmour: Fantastic training for our clever but boisterous and wilful rescue dog. Clear and empowering training approach. Highly recommended.

felicity whittingham: I can't recommend Mark enough. Our extremely anxious 2.5 year old working breed Huntaway has been people and dog reactive since we rehomed her 18 months ago. A typical lockdown pup who spent the first year of her life indoors with zero socialisation or training .With Marks help, training advice and patience we've got to a point where she is calm, and actually enjoying life.We can walk past and be near triggers that would previously have completely sent her over the edge. We can even go into shops now and be in unfamiliar places without too much drama. A massive step forward for us! We've still got plenty to work on but the difference now is that we're able to see how to work through it.Marks guidance has honestly been life changing for our doggy relationship. My only regret is that we didn't seek his help sooner. His charges are very reasonable and a very small price to pay to see our dog happy. If we have any questions or behaviours that we're struggling with in the future I'll not hesitate to request Marks services again.

Liz Roebuck: Couldn't ask for a nicer dog trainer! Infinite patience and lots of good advice

Meg Holgate: Mark has been absolutely fantastic in helping us with our cocker spaniel. Walks are now stress free, we have a much better bond and we learnt so much! We booked 4 general sessions to work on recall, over excitement and other bits and bobs. Couldn't recomend more highly given the difference it made in our dog and our confidence. Mark is highly knowledgeable and professional, as well as a nice guy. If we need any help in the future we will defintely be returning to him!

Anna Hooper: Mark's sessions to help us train our Labrador puppy have been really useful and so much fun too! He has given us much more confidence and our puppy is responding brilliantly to the training. Mark has so much knowledge and experience- would highly recommend!

Claire Dunwoodie: Mark has helped me train my bracco Italiano with recall, stop whistle, turn whistle and much more. He genuinely wants to get the best out of dogs and their owners. Mark also uses his own dogs as distractions and has managed to help me teach my boy that he is not to run over to every dog he sees. Training with mark is about fun and enjoying being with your dog, he is kind and patient and has an answer for every question and problem I’ve had. I can’t recommend mark from top barks highly enough!

jean paul jacques: Really great trainer. Help with our dog.

Lachlanbeamfruit 123: Mark was amazing. Foxy was totally engaged and we went away feeling confident. Trained us and the dog!

Cultured Canine Dog Training: what do users think?

Leanne O'Donnell: Holly is extremely knowledgeable, she has helped me massively with my two dogs. I would highly recommend and would use again, her activity classes are also very good and a great way of extending training.

Louis: pre beginners, beginners and intermediates classes. Holly's classes are tons of fun and built the foundations of our puppies obedience and confidence. He's developed into such a lovely, well behaved little boy and we have nobody to thank more than Holly.Could not recommend more!

Ken: Having tried several other trainers in the past for my extremely reactive Border Terrier girl , Ellie, it was a delight to find such a patient, practical and efficient trainer as Holly. She explains clearly not only what we needed to do but also why. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!

Emily and Buster: Can not give Holly enough praise! Super helpful and really lovely. 10/10 recommend!

mousieto: had a blast. I also saw that there were families there, where the children were also giving the activities a try.The teaching is very focused on positive reinforcement rather than shaming or getting angry at your dog which is one of the main reasons I gave her a go. I think she does a good job at explaining what the tasks do for your dog and you and even though the classes are fairly large, she still takes the time to come round and see how things are going and your overall improvement and she seems more than happy to explain why she does things the way she does. I can tell she is really passionate and loves doing these classes.I definitely get the impression that she knows what she is talking about and so far I'm having a wonderful time training with Charlie both in the sessions and at home. Thank you, Holly.

Amy Cantlay: After bringing my puppy Junior to Holly’s training sessions three years ago, we recently signed up to the gun dog training. It was good fun and reminded us how good the puppy training was as Junior still responded to what we’d learned in those puppy training sessions. The gun dog training is a great way to improve the way you communicate with your canine buddy!

H W: My dog became reactive after my other dog has been bitten by other dogs on numerous occasions.I contacted Holly for some help and she came and did a one to one session with us.Holly is extremely knowledgeable, caring and supportive. Holly made me feel completely at ease throughout the whole session, constantly reassuring me when she could see me getting anxious. In the one session she taught me so much in a fun, stress free way! For the rest of the week I made sure I worked hard on what we had learnt and put it into practice by myself whilst walking. By the end of the week I took the dogs to Fountines Abbey and managed to spend 4 hours there and only had one grumble! This is amazing progress from our reactive dog and for me too! I feel so much more comfortable and less stressed walking the dogs now.Holly is extremely passionate about her job and this shines through her when she’s working with you! You can tell she really cares about you, your well-being and your dogs well-being. At the end of the session Holly made sure that I knew that I could contact her via message or if I needed to have another one to one session if I needed.Holly is extremely approachable and attentive.Thank you so much for all your hard work and giving me the skills I needed to have nice peaceful, stress free walks with my dogs. You’re truly an inspiration, you have the patience of a god! I’ll be forever grateful, thank you!

Judith Grange: Holly and Natasha are excellent for training walks photography and grooms. Holly can get your dog to a great place behaviour wise and I love her methods. Very professional would highly recommend 👌 👍

Rebecca Ramshaw: Holly is amazing at what she does! She seems to know exactly what your dog is thinking and is very calm and understanding when trying to teach the owners! She also took time to reply in detail to my emails when we were struggling with particular training issues and all her advice was clear and helpful. I look forward to more sessions with Holly and find them both extremely useful and fun!! Would recommend to anyone with a puppy or a dog with any training needs! Thank you Holly!

Caroline Hale: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ValueWe've done beginners and intermediate training for our now 6 month old labrador and Holly provides clear explanation and we've seem great results. Good value and well run.

Margaret Parminter: It's probably my age but Holly only looks about 12! My own prejudices made me dubious about her abilities due to her being so young. I can only apologise. She is very knowledgeable and has a real affinity with the dog. She is very calm and this seems to rub off on the dog and things that seemed insurmountable suddenly became workable issues. I have a much better dog now and, given time, patience and support from Holly I am certain that we will have a dog that we can take anywhere and be proud of.

Nienke van den Hoek: . Holly has taught me a lot of things that I would've otherwise not been aware of and still apply in our training sessions. Pinda is growing up to be a confident happy pup. Once lockdown restrictions have been lifted, I will be back.

Emily Beal: Cultured canine dog training was a god send for us! Being first time dog owners we were overwhelmed with all the information we had to learn but Holly helped us get on the right track and we can't believe the results. We originally had a 1-2-1 session which was extremely helpful. Holly was easy to understand and knew exactly what our puppy needed. She also didn't patronise us considering we were first time owners and a bit clueless with training which was great! After another 1-2-1 session a few months later we couldn't believe the improvement our dog had made and were ready to start the beginners course. The beginners course was invaluable. Watching my dog grow in training and confidence was exactly what we wanted and I also found it enjoyable myself which made the classes a joy to attend. The amount of progress my dog made within a few weeks was amazing and it's down to Holly's fantastic course material, helpful nature and encouragementI highly recommend cultured canine dog training for any and every dog need possible and me and my pup will always be grateful for having attended classes.

Joanne Rose: Holly is a superb trainer and a lovely relaxed person to spend time with. My rescue dog was very anxious and reactive on her lead when meeting other dogs. This made me anxious too and dog walks were stressful. Holly gradually showed me the skills and techniques I needed to better understand and communicate with my dog and react appropriately. She was never critical, always positive and very encouraging. It was important to persevere and put the work in between each session. Practice really reaps rewards. My dog will never be perfect but she is definitely transformed and I can read her body language better. Walks are enjoyable now and I am more confident. I have been able to walk her in busy park and town settings, something I never thought would be possible. Thank you Holly.

Janette Pascall: As new puppy parents with absolutely no experience of having a dog we were keen to read and find out about responsibly owning and training our new dog. All the books recommended signing up for puppy training and when a trusted friend recommended Cultured Canine Dog Training we decided to sign up and attend the pre-beginners course. We came to our first week in advance of the puppy coming home and were immediately impressed by Holly’s caring, friendly and super professional approach. The whole family was welcome and her expertise, tips and advice were all incredibly useful and reassuring. When it came to brining pup to class there was no need to worry about accidents, shy or chaotic behaviour from either the dog or the kids! We have all learnt so much and feel much more confident and thoughtful dog owners. We all really look forward to our weekly puppy training and would recommend Holly’s brilliant classes to everyone.

Stefan Bulmer: Holly is fantastic, we are seeing improvements with our dog harry. I wanted a trainer that would tell me what I’m doing wrong but not make me feel bad about it. I also wanted a trainer that would understand how I want my dog to be, for example I want my dog to sleep on my bed, I was worried trainers would say this is wrong and I need to keep harry in a crate/kitchen etc. However holly caters it to my needs and Harry’s needs. Which she does perfectly.

Sinead Ash: So pleased we found Holly for our dog training and regular walks. She’s reliable, trustworthy and so knowledgable with all aspects of dog care, training and well being. We 100% trust Cultured Canine and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend their services as a dog walker and trainer.

Emerald Green: We took our dog to Holly and couldn’t believe the difference she made. He responded so well to her and we were able to follow on with her techniques. Holly is a very talented professional that is committed and do passionate about her work. I would highly recommend Cultured DogTraining..

Rob Smith: was extremely vocal throughout each session, yet Holly was very understanding and supportive.I would certainly recommend Cultured Canine Dog Training.

Leeds Dog School: what do users think?

Jackie Spencer: My poodle was pulling on lead and was very vocal when she saw another dog / person . Kyle straight away identified the problem and taught me how to deal with each situation . Within a few minutes she was walking perfectly and with the instruction she was quiet when passing dogs and people. Kyle was so knowledgeable and easy to get on with. Best £140 spent ! Thank you !

Caroline A: This is the second time I’ve used Leeds Dog School, firstly for puppy training a year ago and again today for loose lead walking. Both times Kyle has been fantastic. On his first visit a year ago we were struggling with puppy biting, jumping up and challenging behaviour but Kyle’s advice worked perfectly and Rocky’s behaviours changed instantly. Rocky has again responded really well today to loose lead training and I’m hopeful for the same long term results as last time. I have no hesitation in recommending Kyle at Leeds Dog School.

Adam Varley: Scooby our 17 month old Dobermann, spent 2 weeks residential training working with Rob and is now an absolute pleasure to walk we couldn’t be happier. I can’t recommend Leeds Dog School enough!! Thank you!

Bianca Paun: We had a fantastic experience with Steve! His methods were effective, and he tailored the training to suit my dog's individual needs. He was patient, knowledgeable, and provided clear instructions. My Cane Corso pup’s behavior improved significantly in just the 2 hours that he spent with us, and I couldn't be happier with the results. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking professional and positive training for their furry friends.
