We're 20 minutes outside York and Terry didn't think anything of driving out to drop the food off. The ribs and bbq chicken were out of this world. Thank you so much
Jane and Phil: We went to York for Meg's 21st ,on the Sunday we went too Creative Cooking for lunch and had the place to our selves, We were all served in good time by just 2 members of staff and the food was piping hot and plenty of it. Try this little restaurant you will be surprised.

Hannah Benwell: The menu was outstanding. I had a birthday gift of Le Gavroche, which was incredible. This place is better. The food and wine pairings were unusual and perfect. Particularly the iced cider orange wine and savignan ones which I haven't ever tasted. The service was perfect. Everyone should try the smoke eel. Also I normally won't eat an oyster but this was incredible. You have 2 weeks people before it closes, you have been warned.

Neill Horie: A fantastic menu and experience, and one which has improved significantly on the already great foundations over/since lockdown. Each dish and course was delicious and flowed nicely into each other, with some wonderful staples and changes over time as the menu has changed. As it is a blind menu I won't mention which dishes I enjoyed the most, but it was all thoroughly enjoyable - although you should look out for the macarons if they are still on the menu.The wine pairing was always one of Le Cochon Aveugle's strengths, and this has been retained with the renewed focus in their food, and pair beautifully. In addition, last time my partner and I also tried both the wine and soft pairings, sharing both of them, and I highly recommend doing so. They were delicious, experimental and often unexpected. Sometimes the drink from each menu also paired beautifully together in addition to just with the food, making for a continually changing collection of flavours and textures.Le Cochon Aveugle has cemented itself as my favourite restaurant in York.

Michaela Knight: Wow, this was the most amazing dining experiences of my life and I'm 55, the food was fantastic, a work of art, every dish was explained in great detail, it was a master class in taste, how food is dried or frozen in order not to waste it, but every dish that came out was an explosion of detail, art and taste, we were genuinely in ore of it.The service was on another level to anything we have experienced, exceptionally fabulous, we couldn't find anything at all to moan about, nothing! absolutely amazing, amazing, amazing so much so we gave a 20% tip.If you are looking for steak and chips, then this isn't for you, but if you are looking for a once in a lifetime dining experience just go for it, we are already saving up for our next visit in summer.

Macauley Hyde: As I walked in the restaurant staff were quick to notice me and let me know they will be with me. Two members of staff said they would seat me. A female member of staff called Tina promptly seated me and asked me about allergies on two occasions before eating food. She was polite and ensured I ordered exactly what I wanted. Food was hot and tasted amazing. Paying for the food online was easy to do and Tina was helpful with this also. All staff seem happy and always look proactive. Service was very quick also. Highly recommend.

They gave us advice about where to go during our stay and where to go to achieve what we wished. Alan Cowley: First post pandemic shopping trip to York. Needed lunch and luckily the first restaurant we visited was full. Then we remembered Wagamama. A well organised queue saw us seated in 5 minutes in what for us was a new layout.Staff so professional. Both my wife and I were about to order our old favourites when we both had a change if mind. My wife went fir the mackerel and I went for chicken, garlic and ginger, rice dish. We were both delighted with our choices.Great service, clean, bright environment and healthy, tasty food . Wonderful!

Mark Hemsley: I have been here a couple of times and it is no on my 'go to' list of places. The food is amazing, full of flavour, freshly prepared and with many great choices available. The menu changes so there are always specials available. The selection of salads are amazing too... really hard to decide which to have or rather which to leave out!The service is wonderful. Very friendly staff who can give helpful recommendations and make you feel very welcome and unhurried.Great range of drinks too and I loved the flowering teas.Definitely worth a visit, even if its to grab a take out!Excellent value for money.

V: Real Chinese food and tasty. Not too may people on Sunday, but other days could be busy. Main dishes are averagely at around £12 to £17 each with reasonable size.Parking: Parking in the York city is quite expensive. Better to use the Park & Ride service.
