He was very knowledgeable and asked excellent questions so he could recommend the right products for me. He was very patient and calm and made, what could have been a daunting and confusing experience, very simple and stress free. He recommend the right sleeping bag for a music festival as well as some quick drying trousers that needed to be ordered and arrived in good time before my travels.Highly recommended, especially if you can get served by Christian 👍🏾👏🏾👏🏾👌🏾

4worldlovers: The Howardian Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is only a short drive away from our outdoor shop in York and the area is home to over 79 square miles of captivating woodlands, scenic villages and historic country houses. Plus, the Howardian Hills supports a range of wildlife, from the rarely spotted knapweed broomrape to the more common brown hare.
The Howardian Hills are also the gateway to the North York Moors National Park and the Ravenscar Epic. This 11-mile coastal walk from Ravenscar to Robin Hood’s Bay shows this beautiful National Park at its very best and you’ll love soaking up the clifftop views as you traverse the Cleveland Way. If you fancy more of a challenge, try scaling Urra Moor (Round Hill), which is the highest moor in the North York Moors. As a quick word of warning though, the Moors average over 100 days of rainfall per year. Don’t worry though, our outdoor clothing shop in York has all the waterproofs you could possibly need if the forecast changes.

Matt Furber: Rohan have moved up Stoneygate. The new shop is bigger but not as quirky. Clothing remains right up there for serious travellers. Pricey but it lasts forever. Pay a visit, at the very least it will allow you to make a.comparission when exploring budget brands like Craghopper.

Sian Louise: Amazing toy store. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I have severe ptsd and anxiety and try to wear my mask as long as possible but often need breaks. I have a sunflower lanyard and not once did I get any looks or glares and when I asked for help to get the bikes down for my nephew to try they were really helpful and i felt really comfortable here. They let him try the bikes and have a little play so we could get the perfect one for him. We also had a wonder around the shop and he chose his toys. The cashier was so friendly. She let my nephew who is 3 pay for his own toys and said Merry Christmas back to him. I would definitely return.

Anne Marie Stagg: A large store set over 2 floors with clothes for men, women and children. I often pop into this store when in York. I’ve always like their T-shirts and stripe tops; I also like some of the dress styles but not keen on the quality of material used.I must say that it seemed rather sterile when I visited today, probably because most of the clothing on the ground floor was black/grey/white/ neutral.There are bargains to be had but today I couldn’t find anything that really caught my eye.

The lady seen that my daughter had fallen over outside and was quite wet and muddy and obviously upset. The lady took us into the store and cleaned her up then gave her some fragrances.
