tony wood: I bought an expensive cuckoo clock in December 2023. £1150. I had a few issues with the clock stopping etc and having to be reset. This happened a lot. In March 2024 after phoning the shop for advice I returned the clock. The staff were amazing and really helpful. They exchanged the clock for a new one and set it up, doing a full demonstration. Nothing was too much bother. They were amazing. 1st class staff and customer service. I would highly recommend this shop and the clocks. My new clock is amazing. Thankyou so much. Definitely would buy items in the future. Highly recommended 👌

We contacted the shop in York and although they did not have any PAM BOUTTON said she would phone us when they were in stock. True to her word, we now have 2 x Father Christmas. Brian: Absolutely crowded on busy weekends, and you can understand why, there's soooo much to see, hear, taste, experience and just have a joyful time, it really brings back the magic of Christmas, the look on children's faces is priceless and a joy to see. This must be the best market. A tip. Don't arrive by car, finding a parking space in the car parks is nigh on impossible AND ruinously expensive, use the park & ride if coming by car, much easier. Buses are fast and very frequent AND they are smooth clean electric buses. Train station is a very short walk from the centre and trains are fast and very frequent. The world famous railway museum is FREE admission but for me I'd choose the street life museum as an absolute must see.

Gobihu Mart: It is a charming store, the pink color, the delicious aroma and the good care of it; they create a sweet and charming atmosphere; I loved the gingerbread man soap and the rose soap, they smell delicious; Next time you see York I'll be back for more soaps.

The lady seen that my daughter had fallen over outside and was quite wet and muddy and obviously upset. The lady took us into the store and cleaned her up then gave her some fragrances.
