It turned out to be a screw in the tyre.I drove in on a Saturday AM and had the tyre replaced with the same brand in the space of approximately an hour.I was welcomed at the reception, enjoyed looking at old newspaper cuttings around the room and appreciate the bustle of a busy garage. It seemed like the staff knew some people and conversation was easily flowing between myself and other folk waiting. C J: We got a flat tyre whilst visiting the area and came to this garage for assistance. This was the third garage in the area we visited and what a contrast in staff attitude. Whilst the other garages were not interested the staff here were really friendly and helpful, took the car in straight away and we were back on the road within half an hour. Highly recommended!

Yes it's a part of Halfords now but if you go round the corner to Halfords itself you won't get the excellent service you get at NTS. These guys know what they are doing, efficient, friendly and make you want to go back. Good old fashioned service.

Without a second thought, staff has come out to help him. They allowed us to leave the car under their security without pressing too much. And they were kind enough to give us the next earliest booking slot for repair. From the first minute to the last, till they release the car after a full repair in 4 days time, they maintained one of the best communication process. Luke Thomson: We've used the Garage for our MOT and servicing, and they've always done a great job, but recently they went above and beyond for us:One of our suspension top mounts and springs completely went, and they were able to have the part ordered on a Saturday before their wholesale order window closed, and fitted just after lunchtime the following Monday. We were due to drive ~500 miles for a house move and they got us sorted as a rush job for no extra expense, and even turned down a tip that my wife offered them. I can't think of a time when I've had such a good experience with a company!

Livi H: My car broke down a few days before I was meant to drive a 3-hour-long journey home for Christmas. RAC and several other garages couldn’t help or fit me in before January. The staff here were brilliant and told me to bring it in and they’d hopefully get it done within a few days. They were really understanding and fitted a new alternator in time for me getting home for Christmas. Reasonable price including labour and VAT, and communication was great at all stages - I was contacted with an accurate quote before giving them the go ahead.
