Paula Watkins: 1st visit so didn't know what to expect.Helpful lady in reception and pleasant men round site.level with low hedges or some areas more open.Really good toilet block.water hot plenty hot water and room to move !!Chosen for bus to York, couldn't be handier.pick up and drop off by gate.nearly on time all journeys. Drivers chatty. All in all what more could you want ??
Wayne Smithurst: Our second visit to this beautiful well kept site. Our tow vehicle limped onto site after developing a fault on route. The RAC couldn’t fix the problem and estimated a 3-5 day wait for recovery. Our site booking was only for 2 nights???? Shelly and Rob were our saviours offering us extra nights and caravan storage if needed. Luckily our vehicle was fixed by a local garage within a couple of days so we didn’t need the storage but the extra 2 nights came in handy. Many thanks from Wayne and Michelle.
Beryl Mcdonagh: Fabulous beautiful stay , Staff very friendly 2 time stay for us
Peter Higgins: Great site . Facilities excellent. Very friendly siteLocation: 4/5 …More

Maurice Chapman: We have given 5 stars because its the best site peace quite showers spotless been here few times you can't ask for better facility's would be nice to have pizza van or fish cchip vanLocation: 5/5 …More
Rob Lyne: Took 2 months to reply - no insurance covers such short stays as excess always exceeds amount paid. Disgusting reply would give it no stars if possible .Beware this site gives no refunds or any credit for future bookings regardless of reasons for having to cancel ( e.g.covid) , a very poor way to conduct a business in my opinion.
Tina White: My husband and I have just spent 7 nights, the site itself is very nice, the shower blocks are very cold, this was reported but nothing changed, there was other people on the site saying the same, the showers are a selling point but would not go back in the winter again
Jim White: Lovely site well laid out. But when you pay alot of money to be away for Xmas you at least expect heating in shower block well none. Disappointed.

Millbridge Farm Camping & Caravan Park: what do users think?
Kevin O'Hara: Hard to review, owners don't answer their phone or return left messages so I've not stayed there.I don't intend to try again!!1 star for being so ignorant....
yaoi kitten: ABSOLUTE SCAM! Avoid at all costs! Arranged over the phone, turned up and couldn't get past the barrier. Apparently the owners were on holiday. Walked in and the toilets stank like a sewage plant, felt sorry for the people staying there. Holiday ruined because of this place.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More
Javed Javed: Very nice
Steve Mulhern: AVOID AVOID AVOID. Poorly run by a miserable, rude and ignorant old man. To the owner - If you hate people so much why invite them onto your land? Oh yes, for the money. It's just greed with this guy. Absolutely zero customer service. If you find problems with the facilities (and in my experience it's likely you will) don't expect any assistance off the owner. In fact don't expect anything other than a frown, some grumblings and a bill. This place has an aura of misery, which I imagine follows the owner wherever he goes. I'd understand if he at least had something to be miserable bout but in our case it was absolutely unwarranted - there was no need for him to be so rude to us. At all. Clearly the other guests have spotted this too. Not ideal for a holiday spot.
Degsy Fox: We stayed here for two nights in our motorhome. Welcomed by the new owner who has been working hard for the last six months., which was evident. All newly tarmaced and massive pitches really clean and tidy grounds with adequate lighting at night. New toilet and shower blocks spotless. Walked along the cycle path to designer Outlet took about half an hour. Blacksmiths Arms 5min away really friendly and great food. For breakfast we went to the marina cafe 2 minutes away amazing breakfast with lovely views over the river. Bus stop into York just outside. We will be back again definitely recommend this place. Only one small negative is that you have to pay for any electricity you use over £3per day
Duncan Phipp-MacIntyre: Well located for the Trans Pennine Trail. They seem to open when they feel like it.
14 12: Very nice park good location
Jane Wilkins: Always stay,we love it but cannot contact new owner. Can anyone help?Location: 5/5 …More
Rachel Lewington: Lovely site to stay over in. New toilet facilities, kids play area coming shortly, looked like a few long term residents on the hard standing areas but we had a great spot on the grass with electric hook up. Bus stops outside the site with a fairly irregular service but fitted what we needed. Also on the sustrans cycle route into york but it is 6 miles each way, close to the designer outlet village which has a regular bus route into york. Would stay here again.
Adrian Bates: Only stayed for one night, but we can't wait to go again, we just wanted to try our new tent and as this place is fairly local it was ideal, but it felt like a proper holiday, lovely friendly owners, toilets/showers spot on, village up the road with a pub, and naburn lock and marina over the road from the caravan/campsite, has a bar and restaurant, and all surrounded by gorgeous countryside
Tim Robson: Lovely, peaceful camping site
Nick H: Lovely well maintained site. A bit expensive (£25 without EHU), but beautiful new toilet block with hair drier. Nice and quiet and very handy for Sustrans path to York. Friendly welcome and rural setting. Choice of hard standing or grass pitch.
Richard Dowgill: Great place. Enjoyed.!
Myles Burgoyne: Very good camp site
Karen Brennan: Lovely campsite friendly owners highly recommend will be back
Sue Wilson: We go to milbridge farm regular we love it good location Andy is friendly nice clean showers easy to get to York good for bikes as it's flat going again this weekend Easter also booked if you haven't been give it a try you won't be disappointed
Helen Atack: Excellent spot adjacent to York marina and short walk into village of Naburn. Well set out pitches that have electric and water and some have picnic benches. Could leave car at site and do walks in surrounding area or get bus into York.

Flaxton Meadows Campsite: what do users think?
IAN THOMPSON: A beautifully kept site.Toilets and showers fantastic with underfloor heating. Small bar on site, drinks are cheap, nice atmosphere and comfortable and dog friendly. Dog walk on site also. Staff are lovely. The owner is friendly and chats to all his guests. Will definitely be back.
James Barber: Well laid out site with friendly staff would definitely recommend to all my friendsService: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Norma Barber: The site is lovely and the staff are really friendly and helpful would recommend this site x
Cassie Green: What a fabulous well kept campsite! I really enjoyed my time here and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The shower blocks were very clean, I was impressed with their eco bathroom area. Would definitely recommend this camp site 👍😊Location: 4/5 …More
Louise Lane: A last minute midweek stay at Flaxton Meadows exceeded our expectations! Fabulous site and well maintained. Wardens were extremely helpful and the onsite bar was a bonus. Under floor heating in the toilet & shower blocks were of a 5 star hotel standard. Only minor downside was there were no benches in the shower cubicles so made getting dressed difficult. Will certainly visit again!
James Coleman: This is a lovely site, if you are staying in a caravan or motorhome just book it, it's great. The loos and showers are 1st class. Although there arent enough hand basins in the gents. The bar looked lovely and was busy mist nights. For folks in tents or pop top campers it was a bit noisy which we hadn't expected. There was a constant drum from cars driving over the cattle grid on the road nex to the site. There were railway works going on so there were train horns at all hours. Then our lay in was spoilt by the crack of machine gun fire from the MOD range next door admittedly they didnt open up till gone 9 when most people would have been up and about.Restrooms: Really nice and super warm.
Sandra Kerry: Perfect spot for a short or long break. Martin and Elaine gave us a warm welcome and continued to be brilliant throughout our stay. The facilities were immaculately clean and of a very high standard. The bar was very reasonably priced and had a warm ambiance. Huge hard standing pitches with both electric and water for our sole use.Nearby activities: Not far from York and the designer outlet in one direction with the coast, Scarborough and Whitby in the other.
Jackie Laws: Great little place ,very friendly 😊Nearby activities: Strensall common for walkingFood & drinks: Nice little bar on siteRestrooms: Underfloor heating ,spotlessly clean x
paul cody: Flaxton Meadows is a fantastic eco campsite. Easy online booking, a warm welcome on our arrival and a spacious and well equipped site. The location was perfect for visiting York, the Howardian Hills and the North York Moors. What was especially worth noting was the toilet and shower facilities. They were immaculate and very, very clean. Would definitely recommend this site.
Billy Wright: Flaxton meadow campsite is an absolute gem, fantastic site, excellent facilities, staff very friendly and welcoming. We only stayed the one night as we were exploring the area in our campervan, but we would highly recommend this site if anyone is interested in going there.
W C: Best campsite in the area - couldn’t recommend moreStaff lovey and helpful tooEverything you need onsite
Stuart Barber: Nice clean camp site with really good facilities. Dogs welcome and even a path for walking them around the site. Staff all friendly and helpful.
Val Murphy: A fabulous break at a lovely lodge (Barbados). Everything we wanted or needed at our home from home with a perfect location and idyllic setting that was very peaceful and relaxing. We visited Thornton le dale, Whitby, Robin Hood Bay, Filey beach, Scarborough and York. Brilliant time. Thank you Jed for a warm and professional welcome and all the team who clearly make Flaxton Meadows the gem that it is.
Linda Connelly: Just returned from a three night stay at Flaxton Meadows.Well done to the owner Jon of this site.Thinking of a up to date means of Carbon Neutral running of the site and gives a great experience to all.Camping at a reasonable cost.Pitches are on a large scale and security great .The wardens go the extra mile to accommodate nothing is a problem.
vita harefa: It's a beautiful and clean campsite. Close to the heart of york only about 7miles away. And only about 50 minutes to Scarborough seaside. The toilet and shower area is so clean and the owner provide 2 hairdryer as well. We love this place. We'll be back
Dottie Jones: Absolutely beautiful place 😍 I spent 4 days here with my mum and sisters. The surroundings were gorgeous with the lake and fountain directly behind the lodge. It was a really hot week and could have done with parasol or canopy for shelter as we had to retreat to the cabin when it got too hot. Otherwise everything was wonderful. The owner John and staff were all lovely. Its a perfect place to chill and escape!
Sarah Sykes: We've just come back from Flaxton Meadows from having our first camping holiday. The staff onsite are friendly, especially Gavin. Gavin made the experience more enjoyable by being friendly, chatting with us in the bar and helpful; recommending places to visit and the best places to eat. He definitely goes the extra mile to make your stay a great experience. It is a lovely site I would definitely recommend it. The site is clean and tidy and its quiet. Toilets and shower block are to a high standards and queuing is practically none as there are multiple cubicles available for both and hairdryers are also available. There were multiple washing stations for crockery and a washer and dryer was available in the utility room. We used the bar most nights as it was a lovely atmosphere, its modern and cosy and you get that warmth welcoming feeling. I thought it was a lovely touch to have board games for the kids to be entertained whilst sat in the bar with their families.
desmond avis: What a wonderful. chic,.pristine place to stay for a short or long stay in your touring caravan. As we did .Gavin and the staff made myself and my wife more than welcome.Any thing we may have needed. If it was possible there were willing to help with. The toilets are immaculate and the shower facilities are somewhat perfect extremely clean and tidy .There is also a bar on site .We never used as we take our own drinks etc .But what a small well presented bar ( with happy hour ) I may add.A short journey to York if you want to drive. But I would highly recommend the park and ride its effortless a short drive and park up then on the park and ride a ticket return from monks Cross 7 pounds return for two adults it was easy my wife and I are are definitely going back again .The peace and tranquility is something you need to experience for yourselves as I am not biased. But we had a lovely timeI wish you all the same happiness as my wife and I have just experienced.Best wishes Des and Veronica Avis
Karin M.: Nice campsite, with nice hot showers. The tent field in the back is very bumpy though, with thistles in the grass. The touring grass pitches are much better for tents.
Sheena Wright: Lovely place to stay, very eco friendly, the facilities are awesome, the best we have used,by far and cleaned by very friendly, helpful staff everyday.will definitely come back here and use as a base for visiting Yorkshire everytime, can't rate it enough, deserves the 5 star rating
Deborah Karran: Having stayed twice at flaxton meadows a lovely site but this time I very dissatisfied as the shower cubicles have not been cleaned in the 3 days we have been here there was clumps of hair in the drainage grills empty shampoo & shower gel bottles the floors were covered in hair I expected more as I've stayed here before & was over the moon & to say we are paying £32 a night I expect clean facilities

York Holiday & Cycle Stop: what do users think?
Nik Riccardi: We stayed here this weekend for our 3rd time. We wouldn't stay anywhere else when visiting beautiful York. The owner is lovely and welcoming, and check in is super easy. The facilities are kept clean and tidy, and there’s free wifi. The pods are adorable and so cozy, and only 5 minutes drive to the nearest park and ride. The grounds are beautiful and kept immaculately, and the pods are kept behind a locked gate at night, which needs an access to code (which you're given) to be opened. Would recommend to all.
mandy buchanan: This was the first time we had ever been glamping the guy who owns the glamping sight came to meet us he was very pleasen gave is information on where to eat and visit ner by.the glamping pods where clean and heated the toilet shower and kitchen area where set out within glamping pod separate. there where also a bq area. and the surrounding was beautiful with all the trees and gardens. and it was perfect for us as its only a 20 mins drive away from the city centre of york.would highly recommend
IWelsh Dragon (IWelshDragon): Fantastic place to stay, it’s clean and tidy and comfy. Please don’t be put off if you haven’t cycled, there is plenty of parking for your cars. The kitchen has fridge, microwave and has two 4 hob hot plates and plenty of pans to cook with, also all the cutlery and plates you will need. I will most definitely be back next time I’m in York as it was only 13 mins drive in too the city centre. Perfect place to stay
Wez Burgess: Came here for a cheap weekend away, the glamping pods and sure as a whole was very clean and the check-in/check-out teams were very relaxed. Only a 15 minute taxi to the very centre of York too. Definitely recommend !
Steph McLean: Lovely cabins. Well kept toilet/shower cubicles. Lovely roofed seating area with option for barbecues. So quiet, you can hear the owls at night. Quick check-in process. Use the what-three-words reference to find it xRestrooms: Clean and well stocked with loo roll. What more do you need?Picnic area: Great to have a wee space for a barbecue, or take out (there's always the option for cooking in the shared kitchen of course)
stacey callaghan: Me and hubby had a 2 night stay.really enjoyed it.first time.as we are campers and do tents.and deffo come again really relaxing.clean and tidy.staff lovely.there is even a little kichen as well as toilets and showers xx
Lucy Thomas: Great little place to stay.. a few sleeping pods, kitchen, shower pods and toilets, plus a gazebo to eat your food.Don’t be put off if you don’t cycle as there’s plenty of car park space and it only took 10 mins or so to drive into York
Carl Binks: We had a lovely visit at the camp site the owner if the site we was late on checking in time but he welcomed us and gave us a guied tour of the place. The site is well kept and lovely maintained gardens the pods are very cosy but very lovely will 1000% be returning back
katie: What an amazing stay , wasn’t only clean but a perfect place to be the staff were very nice, the city centre wasn’t to far and will be back 100% again!
Jessica Millington: Well what can I say, I walked onto the site and instantly turned to my husband and said let's book this again and that's before we unpacked, the pods where perfect clean, comfy and warm too. The toilet/shower blocks where very clean but very cold. The kitchen area was fully stocked so you didn't need to bring your pots and pans.Only 15 mins to York and 10 to the monk retail park if that really. It was peaceful with the occasional peacock noiseJust needs a hot tub 😍
Mike Rouse-Deane: My first glamping experience. We booked on airBnB and assumed from the write-up we would need our own bedding but the one we stayed at had it (which meant we had packed stuff for no reason). It's amazing and stunning, small little shacks that contain a mini kettle and bed. Problem is in wet conditions to get to and from your own little hut you have to dance across a grassy field. Maybe if a path was put in this would elimate that, maybe just around the edge. Toilets were alright and there was a kitchen near the toilets with cooker, microwave, etc. Problem with only four toilets/showers was if everyone is using them you can be stood out in the cold. Also our room had a faulty hinge that let the cold air in. The bus stop to York is in walking distance and isn't too bad. A black taxi costs about £18 back. It was a great experience mind.
Isabel Jane Cummings: Loved this place! Our pod was basic but all we needed as we spent most of the time, in York. Facilities very good. Kitchen appeared to provide everything needed to cook a meal and clean up, afterwards. We took our own bedding but found our sleeping bags slid around on the vinyl beds/seats. Take note if doing the same. Had we taken base sheets, that wouldn't have happened.
Amy Gibson: Ben was very welcoming when we arrived! Very clean and quiet site. Loved our 2 night stay in our Pod plus and would definitely be returning ❤
Dawn Gallon: Beautiful place, peaceful and tranquil.
Soph: stayed in a deluxe pod for 2 nights and it was a delight! there is a mini kettle and tea/coffee in the room with a chair and double bed. the bed linen and towels were nice, and the room was spacious. only a 15 minute drive/bike into central York and considerably cheaper than the hotels! the communal toilets and kitchen are well kept, clean and easy to use. there is a patio and bbq area in the centre which is perfect for groups. Mo the mower is a nice touch to daily walks. 100% recommend this place for both short and long stays, and will coming back again. booking through their website itself makes a difference - please do so! and we found out if you return, you'll get 10% discount for booking again by phone - a must! thank you to the staff for being welcoming and keeping the place tidy! :)
Paul M: Great price and a lovely stay
Michael Polkey: 5-star great value budget glamping site in a stunning countryside location.
Becky Alderson: Here as I’m typing this, it’s just purely amazing! The weather has certainly helped but the facilities are great, clean and tiny. If only I booked for longer 😍
Kelly Thomas: Me and my partner booked a couple of nights away, we weren't sure what to expect, but upon a very welcoming arrival we loved our stay and managed to extend our stay an extra night because we didn't want to leave! The pod was spacious and very clean, the communal bbq area was also very well set up and clean. The communal bathrooms were cleaned constantly and the kitchen was also kept clean. The area was also very peaceful and relaxing, Mo the mower was a highlight and also the peacock. We literally have nothing at all to moan about because everything was 100%.York was just a short taxi away approx £15.We have already been looking to book to go again and can't wait to return.
Connor: The site itself is beautiful, very picturesque and calm. The facilities are brilliant, you have a kitchen with an electric hob and most other things you'd need to cook or clean, even a fridge! The showers and toilets are also brilliant. Plenty of showers so one was always free and they were always spotless.Pods themselves were spot on, decent amount of space for keeping things, the beds were huge and were very warm even on some of the cold nights. Our stay was perfect, we'd easily recommend staying here.
Barbara Stephenson: This is a wonderful place to stay especially with bikes as they have secure lock ups for them. Pods where clean and well placed to give privacy and also to be sociable if you wanted. Beds surprisingly comfortable slept really well. Showers sparkly clean and water was hot. Kitchen area well stocked with crockery cutlery pots and pans with a communal fridge. Beautiful quiet peaceful. Best holiday had in very long time. Thank you will definitely be back!

Chantelle Robinson: Lovely site, great for the kids. The showers and toilets are clean, a little laundrette room to wash and dry your clothes with a iron and ironing board, sink and a microwave. Andy S: Lovely clean site, well kept and great staff. Village about a mile away and bus service to York. Nice place
Esta Goodman: I will never ever return here again due to the huaband & wife park wardens they are horrible people.. I booked a 2 night stay for me & my family we just a normal family we had a few drinks & some music on & they were at us before 8pm screaming music wasn't even loud we also had our dog others had theres off the lead but no targeted us yet again could understand if he was running around but he stayed by our side.. Park is lovely well maintained but them 2 are running it down by going on the way they do she threatened to phone the police i told her to do so as i had done nothing wrong which she knew to then PRETEND to ring them then said its to far for them to come sorry but if a call goes in regardless of travel they have to come so she told lies. I spoke to a lady the next morning who was sited on there & said they alsways go on like that. If you like to go to bed by 7pm then this is the site for you otherwise stay clear!
Trevor Young: Great Caravan and camp site friendly staff it is also well maintained very peaceful and quiet not far from York and Thrisk and in easy reach of the North Yorkshire moors and whitby is about 1hour drive would definitely recommend a stay at this site and also will not break the bank to stay here.
Diane Cawthorn: Absolutely a fabulous site.We booked in route & was so pleased we chose this site.Jill the warden was very friendly & welcoming. The facilities were exceptionally clean all 3 days we were there.Small shop on site for essentials, part bags of ice instead of the huge bags, brilliant idea. The site is very well maintained, very pretty floral displays. Grass cut short & tidy. Level spacious pitches.Kids play area is best ive seen.

Golden Square Caravan Park: what do users think?
Anne Fieldhouse: A superb campsite, good sized hard standing plot for our large van. Excellent showers and toilet facilities. Shower on timed switch and took a while to get hot but worked well and prefer showers that you have to keep pressing as saves water. Didn't go in the shop but looked to have large array of goods. Good price out of season.Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Yvonne Gabbetis: Beautiful site. Immaculate toilet block. Dog field amazing our dog loved the large open space to run around in and totally safe.Highly recommend this site.Hotel highlights Great value …More
Nick Watkinson: Lovely short break with the family. Excellent facilities. Helpful staff would revisit for sure.Hotel highlights Kid-friendly, Great value …More
Tony Doyle: Lovely campsite in beautiful locationLocation: 5/5 …More
Michelle Horner: 5* all the way, I booked a tent pitch, lovely weekend, plenty to do for the children on site. Lovely welcoming staff. Very clean toilet/shower block. Everything or anything you need from the on site shop. Definitely coming back! Michelle and jenni 👌 xxNearby activities: X2 children's parks, crazy golf and a games room that's well on its way.
Paul Barker: A Caravan Site that you can’t access from the main route with your caravan! We are not negative people and do not lightly make complaining comments. However in this case we cannot overlook a significant defect in the way this Site simply omits important information. When we booked with them after viewing their website in detail we had no idea that the last part of our journey there would turn into something of a nightmare. We have always navigated using traditional paper maps as much as possible. We were travelling up from Birmingham and we thought we were in for a nice straight run, coming off at junction 49 of the A1M. Then taking the A168 up to Thirsk and out along the A170 – it seemed so straightforward. However it was anything but.It was not until we had turned in Thirsk onto the A170 that we saw a sign saying “not suitable for caravans”!There was no warning prior to this about the dangers of the Sutton Bank route, even though the staff at the Site insisted that it is well signposted. Well it definitely is not, coming in from the motorway. We carried on for a couple of miles and started to panic, as there was just nowhere to turn round! We then saw a right turning and switched on our Google Maps, hoping this would somehow take us round Sutton Bank. But it didn’t- it just brought us back on the same road further up.We ended up trying to turn round where the verges widened out a bit. It’s a good job we have a small caravan but it was still really difficult and the manoeuvre caused some damage to the underneath of our car, as well as the casing of the electrical socket on the caravan. Along with the stress of causing a build up of traffic in both directions. We then had to take a huge detour, going back towards the A1 and taking the A19 down, out and back in again. At last we saw some signs to help us.When we got to the Site there we were simply told by the staff that the diversion is well signposted. There was no apology, sympathy or real acknowledgment of our stressful time. That is what really grated with us.As well as the website making no mention of Sutton Bank, nothing was said either when we booked over the phone or in the email confirming our booking. The only reason we are giving two stars is because the play areas are quite good. But the facilities are definitely dated, as said elsewhere. We just don’t understand why the Site takes bookings from people without the local knowledge, as they don’t seem to need them!Having since done some research it should also be noted that every other Site in the area makes it clear on their website about the route which needs to be followed to avoid Sutton Bank.
Colin Garnham: Noisy after 11pm on neighbouring pitch - no warden
Barry Foster: Great view's from the site, great parks for the kids to play, good vasilities, toilets showers etc.
Richard Allanson: Very friendly staff and a great camp site 👍
Steve Hodgson: Very good plenty easy parking can get all you need we always call there when in the area. Just a shame the escalater up to the toilets was out of order at the time.
Frances Todd: Lovely clean campsite with beautiful views, very close to the picturesque town of Helmsley. Idea spot to just stay and relax or get out and about round the North Yorkshire moors.
Christopher gascoigne: Lovely camping and caravan park
Michael Bacon: Been camping for over 35 years. I can honestly say this is one of the best sites we've stayed on. So good we camped 3 times this year alone. Fantastic facilities friendly staff. Highly recommended. Already making plans to stay next year. You won't be disappointed,be assured
Lou B: Wonderful site perfect for families. Great parks, quiet every night by around 11, immaculate facilities, shop well stocked and good value, staff lovely. Sad to leave, can't wait to return to make some more family memories.
Dave Humphries: Brilliant site plenty play areas for kids and dog walks clean and tidy and freindly also swimming pool nearby and Helmsley just a couple of miles away and good bike rides at top of Sutton bank caters for all levels
Stanley Baxendell: To much gravel under grass, need a jack hammer to put pegs in otherwise a brilliant site .
Brian Dwyer: We use to caravan here a few years ago and always liked this site. Went back last week for the first time to visit our son who had stayed over here for a long weekend. They have done some more work here and the place is getting even better. The grandkids loved the parks, the dog walking area is a nice touch.Clean and tidy as ever. The games room at the top of the site is getting updated and looks good so far.
Dave lonsdale: just had 3 nights here and what a great place friendly and welcoming staff who can't do enough for you excellent facilities on site good shop showers and toilet blocks are immaculately cleaned several times a day and they have a no noise policy later in the evening,if your someone who likes to make a lot of noise and behave badly then its not for you this place doesn't tolerate it which is really good as its such a nice place to stay kids parks are great and you can walk through the wooded area which is really nice definitely be going there again thanks to all at the park for a wonderful time
Harry Baldwin: Excellent campsite. Good shop. Clean facilities.
Cara: Stayed in the heat wave last week, very hot and busy but still had plenty space at our pitch, and park was fairly quiet after 11pm considering the amount of people there. Parks excellent for the kids they loved running between them. Showers and toilets nice size didnt struggle to get in. Gave 4 stars rather than 5 as we found the showers and toilets a long walk from the tent, an extra block closer to top level tent field would have helped, rather than the caravan and tourers being closest to toilets, as they tend to have their own loo's.

Mountain Warehouse York: what do users think?
Chelle Towsend: Visited the shop on the 28th looking for a gillet. First issue was no lift. Upstairs only accessible by climbing stairs. I have mobility issues so this was a major issue. I understand the building is listed but I am sure something could be done.Struggled upstairs. Initially thought it was worth it as they had what I wanted and it was in the sale (well according to the ticket on the rail!) Turned out it was not. So why was it on the sale rack? I like Mountain Warehouse and have bought a lot of clothes from them. I won't be using their York store again.
John Barnes: I needed a water proof coat and got just what I wanted great stuff
Michelle Wardingley: Amazing customer service from the young girl behind the till
nic R: I love this shop for affordable quality clothes.
Telmo Machado: Amazing shop! Love it
Sam Smart: In May 2022 the older woman with glasses behind the still was stone faced, just what customers want to see to make them feel welcome in the shop. The younger girl was friendly though.
Andy Demetri: Brilliantly stocked shop helpful staff no pressuring to buy stock. Felt so easy to browse around the shop. Brought some shorts there excellent
Andrew Hughes: All the usual outdoor products. All the products are good quality and reasonably priced. The staff at this store are very helpful and nothing seems to be too much trouble.
Nick Cuthbertson: Good selection of outdoor clothes and camping accessories.
Debbie Skidmore: Bought a lovely coat reduced in sale. Good for caravan club members as you get an extra money off
Kym Bridgford: Lovely fast shopping
Michele Franchini: Great selection of jackets and leisure apparel. Recommended for shopping if you need equipment for your walks.
Enzio 548: Brilliant service from Emma and Jess. I was in York for a few days and my old Nike shoes had given up the ghost! Emma helped guide me through a selection of walking shoes, which were great value. Jess also had fantastic product knowledge for the waterproofing solutions. Would happily recommend them both to family & friends, or anybody in need of a good quality pair of outdoor shoes for the summer!
Ian Fairhurst: Great items for all year round
Amy Carlin: Super friendly and helpful staff. Thank you!!
Stu Taylor: Staff were so helpful
Alañ Dale: Had all we needed at good prices.
Zaff Zaidi: Decent size and setup. Like all Mountain Warehouse, looks like a jumble sale
Mehmet Kaya: Very friendly staff
Mick Richards: All good
Brendan Viljoen: Great shop, with a wide selection of clothing and equipment. Lovely, helpful staff too.
