Annie Wu: We have been to Brew&Brownie 2 days in a row, queue for 10-15mins to get the table, even my kid said it's worth the wait, that's how good they are. Fresh ingredients, perfectly done coffee, every dish and drink was spot on. I like the special French toast very much! Highly recommend if you are visiting York, great location in central town. Kids friendly and helpful staff. Definitely will visit again next time when we travel in York.
Sam: We have really loved visiting brew and brownie time and again., especially after Eid as I wanted the first breakfast after a month to be special.The staff make this a wonderful experience with the smile on their face, which shows how truly they enjoy what they do.The food is organic and fresh, and the portions were filling to the point where we felt that lunch was not necessary while on our 6 mile hike in NidderdaleI wish they did some halal options in the future like Turkey bacon and beef sausages which would make me want to go there more often.
Ann: We were a group of 4 and it took us around an hour to be seated, which isn’t bad considering how long the queue was when we went here during the Easter hols. The eggs royale and avocado toast were good but nothing substantial. I’d recommend getting the apple pancakes as they were the best dish we got.
Ferhat Yarkın: Ordered long black, oat flat white, and a cake here. Coffee was delicious but no need to wait for the coffee as there are places around with similar level of coffee. Couldn’t finish the cake as it simply didn’t fit my taste.

Mista T: Booked a table here during our visit to York.The restaurant is pretty funky inside and the staff were polite, friendly and attentive.The adult meals were absolutely fantastic, genuinely fresh, tasty grub! The rosemary fries were awesome!We took advantage of the "Kids eat free" promotion. While the fish goujons were great, the burger was pretty disappointing. I know it was free, but it was pretty overcooked and dry. The wee fella ended up just eating some of the bun and chips. Didn't want to make an issue as it was free, but maybe one to avoid on the kids menu if visiting. The dessert more than made up for it though, with both kids demolishing the delicious ice cream!All in all, it was a very pleasant meal out at averyvreasonable price. Laura Morgan-Watson: Have been a big lover of Bill’s since I first went to one in 2014, sadly the quality of food has slightly gone down since then but on this occasion I really enjoyed my food. I had the ‘nduja & burrata meatballs…they were delicious and I also had a Rosè spritz which was refreshing and not too bitter. The other diners I was with had mixed reviews…chicken burger a little dry and the beef burger not as good as previous times. I cannot fault the service though and I also like the option of splitting the bill when you scan the QR code. Overall, 4* as I enjoyed my food and it was a nice lunch 😊
Alex Elliott: Great service. Friendly staff, food was good, fast and only lost a star due to the fries not being hot and not being rosemary and red onion salted as advertised. Had the vegan “dirty” burger which was honestly one of the best burgers I’ve had and the kids loved their food. My 6 year old said that he rated it “infinity out of infinity” which says it all really.Vegetarian options: Dirty vegan burger and a few other really good vegan/vegetarian options

The icing was maybe a tad bit too sweet for my taste, I’d have liked a bit more strong bitterness coming from the coffee. Still the cakes there overall look epic with a great selection of interesting flavours.
Small cafe just inside the city walls close to York minster. Fantastic quality brunch, perfectly cooked with excellent service. A perfect flat white coffee and tea pigs tea selection. Free range eggs and unique milk jugs also for sale in store. Top notch!

Sin Hsin: A gem found. We were looking for a place to try Yorkshire pudding. This Cafe is located on the first floor of the Antique shop like everyone mentioned, so when you step into the cafe it might got an “Antique smell”, which not everyone keen to it. However, we were fine with it and you get used to it after awhile, the staff was very friendly and nice with the order process. We waited for 20 minutes for our food, and we were so pleased with the wait. The food itself was absolutely delicious. The first bite of the Yorkshire pudding was incredible. The hot sandwich is crispy but not oily. Food was very hot and a good temperature to eat.I ordered a smoothie which also great.It was our first meal in York and it’s exceed our expectations. We definitely will recommend this place to everyone, and will definitely go back.

I preferred cafe FeVa to other popular places for afternoon tea in the city and I say that with confidence, as I visit York for an extended stay at least twice every year. Beautiful afternoon tea for four with a good choice of teas too. What we couldn’t eat, we took home 😊

Thanks to myself, I made the right choice. The Full English breakfast is taste and fresh, I can enjoy the scenery outside the window while eating as well. BTW, I talked with the owner and she was very enthusiastic about her food and restaurant, very friendly lady. You should definitely try this restaurant

I especially like the sandwiches which have lots of bread options and a great for a lighter bite if you’re saving yourself for a big meal on an evening.Lovely staff, affordable, good music and decor. Couldn’t ask for more really! Will be back again and again.Vegetarian options: Loads of food for veggies. The veggie sausages are great - something that is often hit or miss! So I’d certainly recommend here if you’re a veggie looking for a nice breakfast to kick off a day in York. My girlfriend also raves about the cheese and onion sandwich!Kid-friendliness: I don’t personally have kids, but with the fun decor, interesting layout and large and affordable menu I’d certainly recommend here. Fussy eaters will definitely find something! There is also a kids meal section on the menu and a lovely selection of milkshakes, smoothies and sweet treats to tickle a sweet tooth!Wheelchair accessibility: The cafe does have three floors and the upper two would not be accessible to someone in a wheelchair, but the downstairs is perfectly fine and wouldn’t put me off going! One thing to note is the toilet is on the highest floor.

We loved the quirkiness to the place, there's loads of writing, quotes, items and images on the wall which will keep you occupied whilst you wait for your food and during! Tables and chairs are snug by American standards but very cozy and this is England. Prices are very reasonable as well.Hope you stop in for a bite!

Mark Hemsley: I have been here a couple of times and it is no on my 'go to' list of places. The food is amazing, full of flavour, freshly prepared and with many great choices available. The menu changes so there are always specials available. The selection of salads are amazing too... really hard to decide which to have or rather which to leave out!The service is wonderful. Very friendly staff who can give helpful recommendations and make you feel very welcome and unhurried.Great range of drinks too and I loved the flowering teas.Definitely worth a visit, even if its to grab a take out!Excellent value for money.

Lingling Tam: Galette crispy, pork tender, and the flavour is balanced with nice sauce and pickles. You know it’s a good crepe when you can finish the whole thing without getting your hands dirty at all!
Craig Ramos-Stovin: Can't recommend this food stall enough. We didn't try the Crepes so can't comment on those but the savoury Galettes are one of the tastiest street foods I've ever had. The flavours are simply mouth watering and the ingredients taste so fresh and the Galette itself is so perfectly hot and crispy. The staff are also super friendly and helpful. We couldn't have gotten better even if we went to a restaurant 😍😍
Anabella Hay: Paid a visit to York today for the second time, but this time stumbled across the Krep Truck, both my Dad and I were very impressed with the design of the premises so decided to order some crepe’s. They were lovely! So to were Tia and Joe who were extremely welcoming and made the whole transaction a really friendly experience! Claude Lynch: Had a vegan crepe here yesterday. The taste was amazing and it was honestly a massive achievement to make French food vegan. What's more when I went back after to get a napkin they asked me how it was. Street food places don't usually give a hoot like that. So the guys are nice and their food is, um... fantastique! I do not speak French.

Ambrose's Legit Honest Reviews: Super little caff stop. The team were a young, happy crew with sunshine smiles galore from all of them. What a pleasure to be served by such lovely staff. Additional outdoor seating. Offers eat in or take out. Very prompt service. Has a loo and TV. Prompt table clearing even though they were busy. Omelettes, salads, jackets, sarnies and paninis, pies and all day breakfasts. Good portion and great prices, especially as the breakfast included a hot drink. Filling veggie brekky and a hot chocolate with oat milk for £8. Top marks! Recommended. Bikers take note!

Danny Heap: I was on my way to bridlington from colne and fancied a full breakfast, and google full breakfast, and this place came up, it’s a great little workers cafe, went in handed my money over, and sat down within a few mins brew was on my table and a few mins later breakfast was here, breakfast was a good and plentiful, left satisfied and the staff who work there are friendly and polite, if i’m in the area again i’ll be definitely popping in again, full 5 stars from me ⭐️ 🌟 ⭐️ 🌟 ⭐️
