PrometheusZero: Came here for a late 2am licence. We just needed somewhere to sit and drink after the last place closed and this provided. It was the usual Friday night shenanigans, drunk guy in tears in the toilet, drunk guy asking to score coke outside while having a cigarette, annoyed bar staff because were being loud at 2am. Would come here over Dusk when I'm not finished partying again.

Liz Hirst: Called in on spec yesterday for a meal on our way home from a day out. Lovely friendly greeting and told to choose a table that may have a later booking. Each chose a steak from the menu and settled back to enjoy a decent glass of beer - Landlord and Black Sheep. Steaks were cooked ti perfection and delicious. We were back on the road just before the booked customers were due! Will definitely add to our list of possible en route venues 😊
Holly Bates: Visited this place recently and I can not fault the food, room or staff.Staff are so friendly and polite always asked us how our day was and if we slept well the night before ,can ask any questions and they always have an answer, they have also given us tips on where to go.The room is big with lots of space to hang clothes and put bags away, bed is really comfortable. room is the right temp and lovely view of the garden where you can sit and have a cup of tea with the sunrise.The location is perfect, yes near busy road however very quiet in the room so you get peace and quiet.Food is reasonably priced for what you get and it's lovely, spot on flavours and very nice environment can enjoy a nice quiet drink and playing cards listening to music in background that's not loud. Plus can not beat a Yorkie tea !!!!Have never felt so relaxed in a place I can not recommend this place enough we will be back very soon

Linda Robinson: Was so stressed after a busy day at work but the Red lion soon sorted me out.the food was amazing and such a chilled atmosphere service was spot on and staff very friendly will definitely be backFood & drinks: The carvery was available as well as an evening menu so plenty tochoose from.we all had a different meal and everyone said their meals were beautiful and tasty including starters and desserts
