Had a free consultation and then Cate divided a plan of action that consisted of five sessions over the course of about 3/3.5 months for various things that I felt I needed some help with. To me it feels like I’ve had a bit of a factory reset that was long overdue. I would recommend hypnotherapy to other people and was very happy with the service from My Time Therapies.

Ross Heslington: I had an appointment with Harry for a rotator cuff injury that had been irritated for months. After one 1hr session, my mobility was improved and the pain was massively reduced. Harry clearly knows his stuff and talked me through every step of the process telling me what we’re doing and why. I have another session booked and am looking forward to it - couldn’t recommend highly enough.
Lauren Wood: It’s safe to say without Harry the 7in7 I ran from Leeds to Edinburgh in February 2024 would not have been possible. Harry came with me for my 275 mile 7in7 driving the support van, staying in hotels and he quite literally taped my body back together at times. Massaging, Taping, Stretching and putting up with all my complaining. It certainly wouldn’t have been easy to deal with a tired, emotional teenage girl…It certainly was not an easy week for either of us but we really did become one hell of a team. There were massive highs, and some incredible lows but we pushed through it together.Thank you for being my physio, my nutritionist, my best mate and listening to every little thing I had to say whether it made sense or not. You kept me going physically and mentally when at times I had absolutely nothing left.Harry you were a genuine hero and made everything that much easier. I never had to worry about my recovery or what I was meant to be attempting to eat. Thank you for not forcing me to drink the recovery shake, thank you for tying my laces when I no longer could but most of all thank you for giving me the hug I often needed after a long day on the road.Forever grateful for the bond we have and the memories we made. For anyone wanting a physio for recovery, general aches and pains he is your man!!

Harry is very knowledgeable and friendly, and he has explained every step of my recovery process so far. I saw instant improvements in mobility after the first session, and he provided me with some useful banded exercises to incorporate into my sessions to aid my recovery. Andrew Thirlwell: Following a knee injury I went to Matt, at that point walking upstairs was very painful, and as a runner I was desperate to be back up and running. Matt made a bold statement - I would be back running in 3 months! Explaining the extent of my injury and the rehab needed, he supported me throughout. True to his word, I was was back to running within the 3 months. Less than 12 months after my injury, following Matt's expert guidance, I have completed two marathons within a month without a single twinge. Sue Collins: Nearly 2 years ago I was in considerable pain with a serious back problem, and I had been referred by the hospital for back surgery. At this point I couldn't walk, sit or drive. My quality of life was very poor and I was on high dosages of painkillers.Fortunately a colleague recommended Atlas physio.Alongside providing high quality physio the treatments include a targeted exercise programme which I have found very beneficial.Matts manner is courteous, and friendly. Thanks to the excellent treatment I have received from Atlas physio I can now do all the things I love , have been able to quit prescribed painkillers and enjoy my life to the full. Due to the nature of my work I need to have regular physio, and since I have started seeing Matt, I have seen a significant improvement to my overall condition. He is fantastic with giving you the right exercises to strengthen those muscles that are weak and therefore get injured easy. Peter Routledge: Came in with an emergency, was promptly seen, triaged, then sent to surgery. Recovery and ward 14 staff were wonderful. The NHS may have challenges but the experience I have had has highlighted how wonderful it can be.
Andrew Snape: Emergency visit to A&E was handled superbly by the staff, we were taken through x-rays, CT scans, plastering, examination, and stitching up very professionally and cheerfully. They had some challenging clients in that evening but kept polite and helpful to all of them. They provided the best solution to a bad situation.
Elaine Wood: I go to York Hospital quite a lot for different types of appointments,and as yet I haven't had a any bad experiences. I know that sometimes an appointment can't be on time because of under staffed,or other holdups. The staff from the receptionist right up to the doctor, surgeon or whoever you see have been kind, compassionate and honest. They have always helped me to the best of their ability.
