Yummy Yoga Mummies - Pregnancy Yoga, Sutton Coldfield "The Home of Pregnancy Yoga and Hypnobirthing": what do users think?
kivia vieira: I have attended the antenatal classes and I highly recommend this course. Caron is lovely, very experienced and teaches everything from the pregnancy to the fourth semester in a very simple way. Made me very happy and confident.
Raffaella Trapani: Going to Caron's yoga classes was the best thing I did for my pregnancy. I attended from week 16 and loved having the time to switch off from everything else and enjoy my pregnancy dedicating some time to me and baby. Having the chance to discuss any concerns and get Caron's expert advice was invaluable, as well as having the support of all the lovely mums and being able to learn from everyone's experiences really helped me grow in confidence as a first time mum. Because of these classes, I was able to go through labour calmly, even though things didn't go to plan. The breathing still helps me when I become anxious now, so the classes' effects spread beyond pregnancy and motherhood.I would definitely recommend Caron's classes to any expectant mum and look forward to go back when I'm pregnant again.
Helen Campbell: Not only is Caron a fantastic pregnancy yoga teacher (due to combining her extensive midwifery experience alongside her yoga knowledge), but Caron is brilliant at hypnobirthing. My husband and I used Caron for private hypnobirthing sessions before the birth of both of our children. For reasons out of everyone's control, the birth of our first child ended with an emergency C-section and so seeing Caron again ahead of the birth of our second child was invaluable to put my mind in the right head space for a natural birth. It worked perfectly and I had a superb experience giving birth! If you need some simple but effective techniques alongside some positive encouragement, Caron is your lady!
Catherine Lambden: I would highly recommend Carons classes. Not only does she provide a relaxing yoga session, she also gives invaluable and trustworthy maternity advice in a relaxed and open environment. Without a doubt, Carons class helped me to have the natural birth I had hoped for.
Suzie Barraclough: Top class! I loved the classes! Caron is fabulous and can help in so many ways. Yoga is very relaxing and talking part of the class will make you feel you are not the only one with problems and discomfort.
Jen: Joining Caron's Sutton class has been the best decision by far. Anxiety and fears about child birth have been gently calmed by Caron's talks and from Caron giving us the opportunity to ask any questions we have in such a friendly, relaxing and non-judgemental environment. The yoga has really helped me keeping active and has helped relieve pregnancy related sciatica. The breathing techniques learned are invaluable and I'm sure will feel even more so when the big day arrives.Thank you so much Caron 3

Yummy Yoga Mummies - Pregnancy Yoga, Solihull "The Home of Pregnancy Yoga and Hypnobirthing": what do users think?
Sahiti Koneru: I did weekly antenatal yoga classes with Caron from 27 weeks and it was fantastic! Wish I started them sooner to be honest! It was lovely to have time out for me on a weekly basis.Caron is so lovely and funny, so down to earth and really cares about what she does. She works so hard to create these classes which are a wonderful space to troubleshoot with her, rant about the stresses of the week, make some lovely friends, practice breathing and have some fun.I used the breathing techniques during my delivery and found them so helpful! She really makes you believe in yourself and she is such a source of support. I also did a mini hypnobirthing course with her along with my husband. It was really well worth it and gave us new perspective in preparing for the arrival of our baby. I really miss Caron and her classes and I can’t recommend her and them enough! Thank you Caron, you are amazing!
Ali Fieldhouse: Couldn't recommend this class highly enough! I absolutely loved Caron and her weekly yoga class. If you're a new mum to be this class is invaluable. I learnt so much from Caron and her years of experience as a midwife and met some great friends along the way. I took this class for both my pregnancies and the techniques and breathing skills I learnt whilst at the class got be through both births with just gas and air (I still have to take plenty of deep breaths now with 2 kids so I'm still using some of the techniques!). NCT was great, but I found Caron's approach to be really down to earth and prepared me for the realities of birth - the positives but also the things that don't always go to plan. The class is prone to overrun but only because of all the questions that Caron answered for us. Highly recommend it!
Holly Vaughan: I attended Carons classes through both my pregnancies. Caron is a trained and practicing midwife so every class was also educational and she would handle anyone's questions or concerns in a reassuring and knowledgeable manner. Caron has an amazing personality and is truly one of life's specials. You will not regret joining her pregnancy yoga class. Also from both classes I have met some wonderful mommy friends who I am still in contact with now.
Jayna Thakrar: Caron’s yoga classes kept me sane throughout my pregnancies. I looked forward to the class every week, not just to do the yoga but to be able to talk to other pregnant ladies about how we were feeling or any particular issues we had on our minds. Caron’s classes are fun and open! You can ask any question or talk about particular issues that are on your mind. And the yoga itself was great for deep breathing and for keeping me mobile. Regardless of how the week was going, I would automatically feel calm and relaxed when attending this class and I would highly recommend it!Caron, thank you so much! You’re classes were invaluable to me during my pregnancy!
Meghan Tiplady: Before I started Caron's classes, I was really nervous about giving birth. I'd heard that yoga could help with staying calm through labour so I thought I'd give it a go. The yoga itself is great; really relaxing and fab for getting the body flexible enough to get into good birthing positions, but Caron's classes give you more than that. The time for a chat about your week at the beginning is great and Caron's knowledge as a midwife is amazing; she really put my mind at ease. I had a really straight forward birth and I know that that was at least partly because of these classes. Highly recommended and will be doing again if I'm lucky enough to get pregnant for a second time 😊
Carly Townsend: Absolutely loved these classes, I started when I was about 14 weeks pregnant & went until a fortnight before I delivered at 38 weeks. The classes were a bright spot in my week!I attended while pregnant with my second child, I had never done yoga, pregnancy or normal & being a larger lady I was slightly dubious. From my very first session I was in loved both with Caron, & the classes. They start with a meet & catch up with all the ladies in attendance, which is also used as a safe place to ask questions from a qualified midwife, that may have slipped your mind at your routine appointment, Caron will always give a professional & personal opinions as well as sage advice from an experienced midwives & mothers perspective. The class then moves on to some gentle yoga positioning and stretches all the while fully focusing on breathing techniques, you are reassured and reminded the whole time not to push your body & that the breathing is the most important part. The class ends with some relaxation.I can honestly say, I left each session feeling a mixture of completely relaxed albeit energised. The day of my sessions, especially towards the end of my pregnancy was the only night I would have a good night sleep.Give it a go, you definitely will not be disappointed!
Agne Lau: Lovely lady. Highly recommend
Hannah Wilson: Caron’s classes are so useful, not only are they a relaxing experience but as Caron is a midwife her self she is able to help answer any questions or worries you may have. I made some really lovely friends at the class too.I did the hypno birthing sessions with Caron and my husband and I believe it really helped me to have 2 successful births.
Charlotte Rudge: I have been with the Harborne antenatal yoga class since it began a few months ago and I have to say that Caren has been an invaluable source of knowledge and support throughout my pregnancy. I highly recommend this class. It’s been fantastic to share my experience with the other ladies too. The yoga is gentle and birth focused. It is great to practice the breathing techniques and this has kept me calm even when all around me has been like a rollercoaster at times. I am due to have my baby any day now and even though I have had to change from my original home birth plan to a c-section, I will still be able to use all that I have learned during the classes to help me through that process of birthing my baby. Thank you Caren for keeping me positive and being such an integral part of my wonderful pregnancy journey! X
Ellie Payne: Caron is absolutely fab! I started yoga at 16 weeks pregnant and continued every week baby arrived at 39 weeks! The classes are really fun, light hearted and informative at the start when we share how our weeks went and the yoga is so lovely and relaxing. I also did hypnobirthing which was amazing for me and my husband and meant I only needed to use a tens machine and hypnobirthing in my labour and it was such a positive experience. Caron did an amazing job of helping me to prepare for labour and I honestly can’t recommend her classes enough... I’ll definitely be coming back for baby number 2! Xx
J acosta: I took yoga classes with Caron from week 16 to week 40 and I would definitely recommend it to any pregnant women as it helps our boby to relax and prepare for the wonderful journey of pregnancy. I really appreciate the fact that you can talk about your doubts and anxieties and get support from Caron and other moms to be. I feel so fortunate that I met a group of wonderful women going through the same struggle and we still keep in touch after having our babies. They have been the best support in my journey of motherhood. Thank you Caron for making my pregnancy the most beautiful and unforgettable experience. Thank you for making me believe in myself.
Lisa Walker: It is not an exaggeration to say that Caron’s pregnancy yoga classes were the key factor in how smoothly my pregnancy and labour went. I learned more in the informal open discussion and question time before the yoga than I did in all my ante-natal appointments and classes. Caron is extremely knowledgeable and very calming. The yoga itself assisted me with the crucial breathing during labour and also the ability to get myself into, and maintain an upright position for the second stage of labour meaning a far easier exit for baby! I am a true worrier and pretty big wimp in general, but with the help of Caron I had a calm and natural birth, using only gas and air meaning I gave birth to a happy and alert baby and I recovered very quickly despite a third stage labour complication. I can not recommend Caron’s classes highly enough. A true gem in what can be a confusing and worrying time. Thank you Caron x
Rosalyn Pearce: I can’t rate Caron and her antenatal yoga classes and hypnobirthing classes enough.I was a nervous wreck when i started yoga at around 17 weeks of my second pregnancy. I was focussed on ‘what went wrong’ the first time as my first birth didn’t go to plan at all!Well, as the weeks went on I became much more confident and actually looked forward to giving birth 😊I learnt the yoga breathing and had a hypnobirthing session with Caron which actually made me realise that the first time hadn’t been so bad!!I gave birth to Emily after a 3 day induction and have nothing but good memories this time. She was eventually born naturally with just gas and air - the power of yoga breathing and a positive mindset!Im so grateful to Caron - she played a massive part in my positive birth experience this time around and I hope she realises it!The classes are also a great way to meet other ladies and I’ve made some lovely friends who are a great source of support in the early days of being a mum again 😊
Jade Brook: When I found out that I was pregnant I really wanted to join a local yoga class to help with relaxation techniques and to meet other mummies-to-be. It was really great to practice the yoga postures and breathing each week in preparation for the birth and Caron makes it a really fun and relaxed session. My husband and I also did the hypnobirthing course with Caron, which we found extremely useful in understanding more about the birth, how the hormones work and relaxation breathing which really helped me to achieve the birth that I wanted. I would highly recommend going along to the yoga class to meet other lovely mummies-to-be and also hypnobirthing to understand more about birth and relaxation.
Victoria Brown: Caron’s antenatal yoga classes are amazing! Not only is she really fun and friendly, she’s also a working midwife with an extensive knowledge of pregnancy and birth. The classes helped to keep me relaxed and mobile, and of course practise that all important breathing, ready for the birth. I also loved the fact that we all got to talk about how we were getting on every week. It was so good to talk things through with people who understood what it’s like to be pregnant. Especially as my child was diagnosed with a cleft palate while i was pregnant and Caron and the class gave me so much support. Highly recommend to anyone who’s pregnant. 😀😀😀

Yummy Yoga Mummies - Pregnancy Yoga, Harborne "The Home of Pregnancy Yoga and Hypnobirthing": what do users think?
Cathryn Cheesman: Caron is a fantastic leader and amazing at giving help and advice. Yoga was really relaxing and helped me to meet new people going through the same experience. I also did hyonobirthing and it really helped with Labour and gave me the birth experience I wanted.
Vale Sc: I absolutely loved attending Caron's pregnancy yoga classes ! They were such a lovely appointment during the week! A great time not only to exercise and get some relief from some common pregnancy discomfort but also the opportunity to learn excellent breathing techniques and postures which I have used during my labour. On top of this before each class we used to have a chat with Caron about us and we could ask any questions about pregnancy or birth. Caron is a knowledgeable midwife, she is a great women supporter and will always answer to any questions. In fact I felt almost like if my midwife was Caron rather than the community midwife! Attending these classes is good not only for the exercise in itself but also for all the support you get from Caron and the other women and is a great place to meet other mums to keep in touch with once your baby arrives! I would also recommend Caron's hypnobirthing and first aid classes.

Pregnancy Yoga Birmingham: what do users think?
Kristina Yarnold: I have attended Paula’s classes few years ago, both pregnancy yoga as well as post-natal with the baby! The classes are held at her home, in a spacious room dedicated for these activities. Since day one, she greeted me with a smile, care and genuine ‘I am here for you’ attitude! I was always looking forward to come there. That special space, atmosphere and possibility to meet other women who were in the same ‘boat’ as you was amazing! We not only worked on breathing techniques, birth positions but we also had an opportunity to talk at the end of the session! With no rush, with a cup of tea prepared by Paula and a selection of biscuits and fruit! You would be surprised how such small gestures like that make a huge difference! We shared our worries, joys, were able to have a moan or two and have a laugh about it. Closer to my due date, I had worries about my baby being in a breech position and Paula helped me to get an additional scan with her contact, putting me at ease!Post-natal with babies was also lovely! Paula was there to help with the babies, so we mums can have some ‘me moments’!I must admit, I am not planning more children and I am just sad that this means no more Paula classes!Cannot recommend her enough! My warmest regards to you Paula! From Kristina and already 4year old Lukas
Laura Whitby: Yoga with Paula is so much more than you could imagine. Paula is an experienced yoga teacher, who gentle guides you and your ever changing body through the exercises that keep you strong and prepared to labour. The thing is, that somehow, the yoga becomes the background reason you love her class. With Paula you can really prepare for labour and early Motherhood. It’s the place to ask all the questions you don’t know where to find answers, you share your pregnancy with others, and talk about what happens in labour. Paula’s classes are where you will find unexpected friendships (mine are still lasting friends now), support, guidance, advice, reassurance and you will feel her genuine love and care. I can not recommend her high enough
Dahlia Renaud: I went to Paula's class every week during my pregnancy, and it was the best thing I've ever done. Learned so much about pregnancy and labour, others share their experiences as well, partners class for those who want it, and I just felt like my body had an overall MOT after her classes. I don't know what I would've done without her classes!
Sally Butcher: Paula is a great teacher and a great listener. I attended her Pregnancy Yoga classes before having both of my little ones. I also took her Active Birth class and her Post Pregnancy Yoga. I've attended in her home studio, online and in the park (Covid times). Every time she has been calm, organised, knowledgeable and caring (just what you need around birth and babies). Her classes are very relaxing but strengthening; the routines are varied but familiar, she has deep understanding of yoga and birth and imparts this wisdom with clear demonstrations, and she is kind and attentive to any concern you may have (and pregnant women and women with babies have a lot!). I had concerns over being encouraged to go for induction with my second baby and Paula gave up her time to share up to date reading material on this and offered balanced advice, so that I could make an informed decision.I've also met some wonderful women here who have become fantastic friends! Can't recommend Paula highly enough!!
David Linforth: My wife and I have attended Paula’s active birth partners class with both of her pregnancies - IRL for our first and virtually for our second.I found it very educational without being too formal. I definitely went into my wife’s labour with our daughter feeling prepared and informed and knowing my role, rather than just being an overwhelmed bloke standing in the corner.I promptly forgot half of it once we had a newborn, hence deciding to do the course again as a refresher. My wife has also used Paula for pre- and post-partum yoga and has nothing but good things to say.
Cate Linforth: This is my second time taking antenatal yoga classes with Paula and I’ve found them so helpful. Paula explains the physiological aspects of pregnancy, labour and delivery, in a way that helps understand what we can do to prepare ourselves as well as help our bodies during the pregnancy and birth process.Paula also offers an incredibly useful Active Birth Partner class which my husband and I have taken both times, which covers how your partner can support you during labour, what happens to your body, the stages of labour, and the benefits of remaining active. One of the most beneficial elements is hearing from other attendees after their births to learn their birth stories, how it actually went, etc. During non-Covid times Paula’s classes are in her living room and provide a really nice environment to meet up with other women, chat and have a cup of tea at the end of the class. Paula’s done exceptionally well moving all of her classes online throughout the pandemic, which means we can continue with this really useful birth education, get some exercise and meet some other parents to be.I’ve found Paula’s classes to be really beneficial in preparing my mind to allow my body to do what it does naturally, as well as to meet other expectant parents and do some pregnancy-safe exercise. Paula has been running these classes for years and always has time to answer questions, help provide you with information to effectively advocate for yourself, and discuss any concerns outside of class.I’m looking forward to taking part in Paula’s post-natal classes again this time round; where I can focus on getting my body back in shape in an environment that’s appropriate to include my baby and meet other parents.
bushra rehman: Absolutely amazing. Would highly recommend to anyone expecting a baby!
Meenakshi Katwa: I've attended Paula's pregnancy class through 2 pregnancies and attended postnatal classes. Paula is an excellent teacher in yoga very homelt, relaxing environment. I loved every moment the breathing techniques and poses were very useful during my pregnancies and likewise for post natal sessions. I whighly recommend Paula's Pregnancy yoga.
Hayley Whitehouse: I wasn't sure what to expect from the class but thought it would be good to do some gentle exercise whilst pregnant. I am so grateful to Paula, who fully prepared me both mentally and physically for my pregnancy and labour. I was always worried, if not scared, about labour and Paula taught me how a woman's body is perfectly designed to deliver a baby in the least painful way. I attribute my wonderful birthing experience to Paula and feel so much more empowered as a woman and have a new admiration for just how amazing the human body really is.Paula is a friendly, warm, caring and extremely knowledgeable woman and helps you through many different aspects of your pregnancy, even if it means referring you to another expert.I also made some wonderful friends in an extremely natural way. The fact that members of the classes are all at different stages of pregancy is really beneficial as you can see what different woman go through at different times and stages.I couldn't recommend Paula's class enough!
Samantha Prior: Paula is a great teacher with such a friendly way about her that makes it easy for the class to bond. I have made many friendships through her classes that have enriched my life as a new mum. Her antenatal classes made my water birth experience positive. I had dreaded labour, her classes changed this and made labour something i felt in control of and a beautiful experience that i shall cherish. Couldn't rate her anymore highly. I am now at her postnatal classes and they have corrected my post pregnancy nerve pain and eased me back into being active and improved my posture and balance.
