I asked Ashley this morning if he dreams up these exotic varieties of sausages in his sleep? Apparently he does. Today he's got curried goat and pork, garlic and leek, one of which I just necked for brekky.August 26th. Also had some steaks for the week after.You read stories each year where people have purchased their meat for Christmas from major supermarkets and are either disappointed or they have a disaster. They would be far better off using a local butchers where they have the knowledge and experience to make sure they get what they want. Yes, it will cost more, but that’s not the point if you just end up throwing it away. I would rather have less, but quality.All the people here are willing to help you, both with a choice and also about how to get the best from it. I regularly buy meat to add to the freezer for meals later on, such as mince and chops.Does both butchery meats as well as a cooked meat selection, plus pies, bread and cakes. If you need something specific we always ask a week before.Highly recommended.

Graham Fisher: for more than ten years and have never had cause to be concerned. The meat products are excellent. The only concern for me was I purchased a tray of eggs on Saturday 19/11/22. The price has increased from £3 50 to £7 which seems ridiculous. In fairness it may be beyond their control but I shall certainly be going elsewhere.
