Mike Barker: Took back some head phones that went faulty after six months, the manager was very unhelpful and said there was absolutely nothing they could do, no exchange or refund, on something with a two year guarantee. Disgusting service, she just kept tapping the sign that said 30 day exchange policy like that somehow justified her, despite it being the exchange policy if you didn't like something not if it was faulty. Went to the crown wharf branch and they exchanged it straight away. Do yourself a favour and just buy on amazon.
Sanjay Jain: I went to return an item at this store but did not have receipt of my online purchase. Young lady at the till named Abbie assisted me and provided a fab customer service in a very helpful manner. There was another gentleman who helped to locate my purchase and eventually accepted my return and refund. Well done guys!!

Instead of the manager calling HQ and sorting it between themselves like I would have done being a store manager I was sent away without it being resolved. It was easier for them to blame HQ rather than do their job. The manager failed at her job and needs either more training or to step down. I went to another Argos store the same day and got it sorted by a sales assistant who had more sense than the manager of this concession. Avoid this one.

dave warrilow: I have used this click and collect before and it is very convenient and was a grest service. However, recently I had a delivery sent there that was in a tube that was too big to fit through my letterbox, 1.2m long x 120mm. On the delivery day the sender contacted and informed me that the parcel had been refused. I went to the store to see why and apparently 1m is the maximum length. I contacted the sender and he said this wasn't in the contract docs. I will add, the lady I spoke to in the Argos store was the rudest least helpful person I have had the mis-fortune of meeting for quite a while.

Sona: I been to return laptop I bough 2 days back. I did not use the laptop I just opened and logged in and that’s it reset back because it was too small for me. I explained to lady I need to return it back because i need bigger screen than this laptop. She check everywhere no problem nothing than she come back to me and she was like I can’t take this back as it has finger prints on screen. I explained to her it could be when I try to open the laptop. She refused to take back because it has finger prints on screen. What the hell that is??? Can someone explain please. I returned apple iPad even I used for a week I did not like for some reason. Searisouly please don’t waste your money here. Otherwise ask them.Return policy : 14 days but can’t take it back because it has finger prints on.Please don’t water your money here

Mucka: Just went to this store to purchase my daughter’s birthday present as of midnight we enter tier 4, the guy in store wouldn’t allow us to purchase in store and told me to order on line, this wasn’t possible as I had £140 in vouchers, I tried to explain to him that we had to get the present today as it’s my daughter’s birthday next week and didn’t want to see her without her main gift, he said the store wasn’t allowing this as of Monday, I contacted customer services and they said the store should be allowing walk ins and cash payments, thankfully we purchased the Nintendo switch from smyths, definitely won’t be going back to this Argos,and they wonder why so many branches are closing...
L d: Queue twice to visit one store? Outside to get in sainsburys and then again for argos. Also if you switched the direction of the escalators it would mean those entering the store didn't have to cross the path of those leaving.

Sara athar Noor: Absolutely terrible, no customer service at all. The Asian girl KIRAN I think her name is absolutely rude and very unprofessional. I went to return a faulty item and she didn't even want to listen to hear what the fault was. She just gave me back the item and said sorry we can't accept it because the other items that came with the item aren't inside the box, which they clearly were if she bothered to check. The item was faulty and was still in the 30 day return policy!, So why can't I return a faulty item even when I have discussed the fault and did all the troubleshooting with the item original company and they told me to go and return to the store and get your money back or get a replacement. this has happened many times with me she never listens and is always rude. And the managers are also rude and i think all the staff and managers are racist. So we eventually went to the Bentley bridge store and they returned the item with no problem at all, there customer service is the best. However in Wolverhampton raglan street they all need to go and learn what customer service is.

Keith Martin: The men's hairdresser salon was really good value, £10. 50 for my cut and shampoo. I didn't need to make an appointment and was served immediately. I also got a Hugo Boss jumper for my birthday well below the RRP and a Japanese made fine eye brush for my mother. You can get really good value at low prices here.The staff are friendly, however it is beginning to show signs of wear.

Empty perfume bottles, tat you'd find in Christmas crackers and clothes for midgets. Can only be some sort of scam.

The worst thing was asking where was the toilet and the response was: "Toilets are not opened to the public, please use McDonald's one".This will be a lesson on devaluating the name brand one day at business schools.

Curtis Porter: I used to work within the corporation street, Birmingham HOF back in 2002 when it felt glitzy, now it feel like a pop up store, and it comes over kind of boot sale- ish.Not maintaining its reputation standing shoulder 2 shoulder with the big boys selfriges & harvey nicks.Such a shame, as back in the day it was full of prominent consumers, beautiful glamorous cosmetics girls and high end fashion.Now you're luck if there is a member of staff avaliable where you find a product you desire.Really sad as this place holds fond memories, but I doubt it will even be a thing by 2025.

Khashayar Abbasbashi: The staff are very rude. They are not friendly. In my opinion, at least a class should be held for them on how to help the customer and also how to deal with them. If you check the comments above, you will see that no customer is satisfied with the staff's treatment. Next to this store, there are other stores where you can buy the same items at the same price, and it is Argos that makes your customers lose themselves.

I went to the store to return a sandwich maker that I had purchased but had never used. Despite presenting my receipt and explaining that the item was in the same condition as when I bought it, the staff at the store refused to refund me and told me that I had to take it back to the branch where I purchased it.When I asked to speak to the manager, he was rude and dismissive of my concerns. He refused to even look at the item and told me that he could not override the decision of his staff. He also stated that he did not have any more time to spend addressing my issue.I was extremely disappointed and frustrated by the poor customer service that I received at this Argos store. The staff were rude and had no manners when dealing with me, and the manager was unprofessional and unwilling to help resolve the issue.I am requesting a full refund for the sandwich maker and an apology for the unacceptable treatment that I received at the store. I hope to receive a prompt and satisfactory resolution to this matter.

James Binney: This Argos in Sainsbury’s Castle Vale has probably the worst most incompetent staff I’ve literally ever known in my whole 30 years… I’ve had fourteen jobs now mostly in retail, and also the services, I’ve been in plenty of times with my little girl and each time they haven’t got a sodding clue about anything! They are clueless and the most miserable people I’ve honestly ever known! I think they employ anyone with half a brain cell and stick them out on front without any training whatsoever. Argos need to train there staff in this store from scratch and teach them how to give efficient customer service! It’s not hard to put a smile on your face and treat people how you like to be treated!!! Went in an hour ago and again the same service! Even two other customers in front of me were extremely unhappy with the staffs service and demanded to see a manager as the ones serving her were so incompetent and dim witted!! I advise anyone to go to another Argos store around the area… as these lot are just useless and clearly hate there job….

Why did the shop assistant initially refuse to check stock availability on one item when I asked? Did check reluctantly when I asked why not. I don't see any relavence to covid on this one just bad customer service.
Iby The boss: I went to Argos Castle Vale I was treated disgustingly by Liz as I returned a TV I bought a couple of days ago. She opened the box and mocked me how I packed it. Liz and Amy by putting it on said there's nothing wrong with it but you cannot tell by a blue screen. In addition to this, she packed it away and just left it there and walked away to help another customer. When I asked what her name was she wouldn't tell me so I had to Travel to Selly Oak where then my TV was given back hassle free I think Liz was being racist and discriminative towards my father. I urge anyone travelling there please travel elsewhere its not worth your time or fuel Travel to Selly Oak in Sainsburys if you want a better experience.
