Simon Nugent: Cracking boozer, got two pool tables which were recommended by the landlord of the new inn. Me and my work mate were working in the area so didn't know which places to go to, glad we found this place. Lovely bar maid, nice beer prices and nice and spacious. Would come here again if in this neck of the woods.

Kay Griffin: On entering the building I could smell the men's toilets so it wasn't a good first impression but once past the bar area and into the restaurant it was really nice. We both ordered 2 courses from the Christmas menu, I had King Prawn and Smoked Salmon cocktail with bruchetta and it was delicious, so nice I forgot a photo! My main meal was the Christmas turkey dinner and my friend had the beef. Very good food presented beautifully with exceptionally tender meat. Staff were attentive. Would definitely eat here again.
