T: Lovely local branch that I visit weekly. Partners are very friendly and attentive and always happy to help. Unfortunately, during my visit on 03/01/24 I was continuously followed around the store by security. Apologies to security for not fitting the profile of those who deserve to shop at Waitrose in peace. I was so uncomfortable and embarrassed that I put the items back and left in tears. Will not be returning.

pjcnet: . If Waitrose had at least a 2 day freshness guarantee I'd rate 5 stars instead of 4 and I'd be ordering more, this is constructive criticism. Amazon Fresh have a 3+ day freshness guarantee, it's not as fast as using Uber or Deliveroo, but if you don't leave it too late you can usually still get a same day delivery.You tend to pay more than in store without the same offers and sometimes items won't be in stock even when you specify an alternative which can be extremely annoying, but since that's the same with every supermarket on Uber or Deliveroo I've ever used and some are less reliable for stock than Waitrose I won't hold that against them, it's the price you pay for your groceries to be delivered super fast, usually within an hour. If you ordered directly from Waitrose you'd no doubt have the full store selection at non marked up prices, probably with less stock issues too, but you'd have to book a slot which would be the next day at the very earliest and at busy times like just before Christmas all the slots will likely be gone unless you book well in advance.

Five stars on everything usually, but went in to get some diced lamb and all they had was frozen. Still purchased it as i know the meat is lovely, but you do expect fresh from a butchers. Steve Lockley: Excellent quality. Under new management. Gary and Tracy are very helpful.Can't recommend then too much. Had a box of meats for £25 plus frozen diced game. Wonderful extra large eggs, all double yoked so far. Really large chicken breasts, steaks, pork and beef joints, magnificent sausages.Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.
