Mahriah Naweed: My longest awaited review. I've been training at this club for over 2 years consistently.. it's been undoubtedly the best decision I've ever made for my weight-loss, mental health and overall fitness. My weight loss journey started close to 100kg and I'm very far from that now. As someone who suffered from major anxiety, esteem and confidence it was hard for me to get past my initial limitations - My coach Laura really made that possible. She devised a program that was suited to my ability and progressively helped achieve major milestones and grow in my fitness. I've achieved things I never thought were a possibility for me. As someone who prefers not train in a mixed environment - I've been well looked after in my 1-2-1 sessions. My privacy and space are both highly regarded. The club has been exceptionally accommodating and I feel very comfortable. Best coach awards to one side and best people awards to another. I wholly admire the work ethic and ethos the club stands for. All the coaches are well trained and make exceptional role models. I would have no reservations with my children being a part of this club. Hand on heart, Google has asked me to do this review a number of times and truthfully I have no words to describe my experience. 10/10

Ciaran Mangan: Been training here for over 10 years.It has brilliant instructors who are there to help and develop everyone of all ages and abilities. They help create a great atmosphere where you learn and can have a laugh, but know when to knuckle down and get the work in. Couldn't recommend enough!

There is also a strike and grapple class on a wednesday with an option to experience floor techniques if you want to as one of the instructors is also well versed in Brazilian Jiu jitsu. I'd highly recommend Walsall Black Belt academy and martial arts to anyone. i've taken part in almost all sports and nothing is as fun and rewarding as martial arts.
simon parker: Knowledgeable instructors provided me with good feedback on the right age for my son to start training. Clean and welcoming atmosphere. I will be taking my Son in about a year when he is old enough and may start myself in the meantime.

They truly care about avery student and will push you to achieve.I am currently 7 months pregnant and with the ongoing support of the staff I have been able to continue training with routines tailoured to my growing bump.I can't recommend WBBA highly enough.

Daniel Payne: I've been at K-Star about 6 months now.Steve is a brilliant, friendly coach. Aidan and Axe are also great, especially with the beginners. Overall, there is a great atmosphere, everyone is very helpful and I can see myself staying here for years to come.
Matt Moran: Great instructors. I'm pretty old & decrepit, and while I got a great workout I wasn't pushed so far I thought I was in any danger medically. I feel like this is somewhere I can get fit and learn muay thai safely. Great experience.

Craig Cartridge: Gio kick is a very clean, modern, fully equipped matted Martial arts gym. The chief instructor John has a wealth of martial arts experience and is encouraging and understanding. The classes are well structured with an excellent mix of fitness, self defence, traditional line work, sparring techniques and free sparring. The guys and girls that train there are very welcoming. I would recommend Gio kick to anyone, whether you are looking to keep fit , learn a new skill or competition compete this is the place for you.

Being 4 years old I think that offering not only 1 but 2 free trial lessons to make sure the classes are suited is fab, however he didn’t need the second free trial to know he wanted to sign up. The club itself is so professional yet also so child friendly. The staff and trainers are all lovely and really motivate the children.Signing up to this club feels like he’s becoming part of a family where he will be supported, encouraged and rewarded for doing something he loves.I had put my sons name down on the waiting list a few months prior to his lesson and when you finally get to go you realise why there is a waiting list.Proud my son is now kitted out and ready to start his journey with the GioKick family. Last year i was severely unfit and weak. I started my journey kickboxing and have managed to lose nearly 3 stone in weight. i passed my police fitness test today and i am overwhelmed with how far i have come. I had someone explaining what was going on the whole way through. The head coach checked in with me several times during the evening. I worked harder than I’ve ever done, and have been stiff and sore for a week, but it’s what I needed. Knowing that I achieved something in the very first class has kept me motivated on other projects all week - it’s been fantastic. Can’t wait for the next class.

Gaz D: The sweet smell of juniper berries filled my nostrils when I entered the gym. It made me think about those long hot summers from when I was a boy, frolicking in the meadow. I wanted to join the gym and learn some mma to man up a bit. Everyone was very friendly and all offered to have a little wrestle with me. I was hesitant at first but the guys were really gentle with me. Tender almost. I would say it has really straightened me out. I’d recommend this gym to anyone.
Shaun Nicholls: Started training with Dan in summer last year, he is a friendly, helpful coach and is supportive to all levels, I feel I have learnt a lot and came a long way since then. Wolverhampton MMA is a very good place to train and the club has a great atmosphere, also met lots of new people. You will not regret making the decision to join up.
