Sue Groves: it does look like it is boarded up and closed down, however, some parts of the hotel are undergoing a refurb which is needed to bring it up to date. Room large and fully functional and breakfast included in the price I paid so for the cost it’s very good value. The real gem here are the staff ! They truly do go the extra mile to ensure you are looked after. I’m at the hotel due to a bereavement and can honestly say I am blown away by their kindness …. The hotel will be fabulous once refurb complete and hard to beat … the staff are clearly very passionate about making a real difference and will make this place a hidden gem in the Midlands once the exterior is brought up to date….,
Elizabeth Davis: Absolutely so bloody happy this is a dog friendly hotel!! We are here right now !! The guy at reception is so lovely helpful and polite!! Our room is comfortable, we have shower and bath. It's not cold at all we are absolutely roasting !!Enough towels, coffee milk etc and more available!!It Needs a deep clean,Can't open window,Are all I have to say about flaws..I will absolutely stay again !! We've been made so welcome, and the Christmas Dec's are lovely.I suggest trying this for urself it was a last minute book for us and the price was fair!!If the dog is happy we are happy.Ohh and our TV works we have full signal watching Harry Potter.Seen no illegal immigration here.Frankly I was horrified with the comments it was the fact is was dog friendly and they don't exist anymore that had us here, please do not be put off till uve been urself!! Some of us still want dog friendly hotels and places. Glad we come.

Louise Everett: Good room, bed was comfortable. Some minor damage to a tap but it still worked. Shower head is fixed to the wall which was an issue. Staff very helpful and welcoming to dogs. Michelle Hirst: Just stayed here for a 2 nights, what a lovely friendly place and the staff are really lovely. Lisa was so good to us all. I was staying there due to getting married, with friends and family. Lisa just couldn't do enough for us bless her she reserved a table for all the party the Saturday morning so we was all sat together. She even stayed behind after her shift the Saturday to see me in my wedding dress. After the wedding we cameback to the room and Lisa had got us two bottles of drink and left a card there. On Sunday morning when my new husband and myself went down for breakfast she had decorated the table up for us. 10 /10 Lisa you are a lovey lady and made my two nights stay enjoyable xx

Lisa Goldsmith: We had a lovely stay, the safe were lovely and friendly especially Lisa and Amie. We had an issue with the whole road being closed off leaving us unable to get back, the staff where so apologetic. I'm disabled and access was great they made sure my needs where catered for, only gave 3 stars for room was due to tea or coffee ring mark left on the unit so room had been cleaned as good as it could, couldn't fault anything else in the room. Beds super comfortable, more pillows available if you needed. Would stay again.

She really looked after me and my friend , told us where to eat, gave us advice on getting to the city and what bus to get to save us money on parking and stuff!Rooms: Standard rooms but clean and had everything you need.Safety: Car Park has CCTV

Tijn Hex Snijders: With the loveliest lady, Bev, at the front desk, a really nice bed with the most luxurious blanket, a spotless room and a very nice shower, my stay at the Premier Inn was nothing but very nice. I had a lovely stay at the Inn and would recommend 100%If you need a place to stay in the Cannock area make sure you try to get a room there. 5/5 stars!Rooms: The room was spotless, nicely setup with a big comfy bed and a nice bathroom. Was happily surprised that the room also had a USB outlet so I could charge my phone without the need of a conversion plug.

Michelle Crompton: Fantastic value for money hotel but badly let down by the fact the local bus service finishes at 4.30 pmVery clean room and fantastic customer service. The highlight of the break was how hot the water was for the bath which was a bonus.Unfortunately the bar and restaurant closed end of June bit ypu have a beefeater across the road and can order takeaway food for consumption in the big size twin rooms.For £25.00 per person per night for accommodation only it was well worth the money and I will definitely be returning. The earlier you book the more chance of getting cheaper room rates.

Paul Smart: No idea why the reviews are so bad, I travel frequently seeing family up t'nurf, and for the money this was perfect. Close to the Motorway, two supermarkets, several eating establishments and a pub. Room was clean, warm and safe, staff were great and bar was cheap, loads of free parking and free Wi-Fi. Only gripe were mattresses are defo on way out, but still slept like a baby .

Sam Joanne: We got married here 12th Feb 2024 and it was absolutely perfect. We could not have picked a better venue. The venue was stunning and beautifully decorated just how we wanted it. We used the collaborative company Venue Creations, everyone loved it.From start to finish the staff could not do enough for us and big shout out to Dan who made this stress free for us from the very beginning. Kirsty for the above and beyond service to cater for additional needs - she was brilliant.The team here really are special and made our special day an unforgettable magical day we were absolutely over the moon with everything. Nothing was too much trouble and were always there when you needed them.The food all through the day to the evening buffet to breakfast was gorgeous and everyone commented on how beautiful the food was and some of the best they have had.The organisation of day to night was fantastic and could tell the team were very knowledgeable in this field.The rooms were brilliant for the guests and the bridal room was stunning.Oak Farm if I could do it all over again I would and I would still choose this venue again and again.You made our day so magical and memories to last a life time so thank you to the team at Oak Farm Hotel.Sam & Leon

Royston Wood: I stayed here during my 2023 John O'Groats to Lands End ride, when I was accompanied by my wife and 13 year old son, who were acting as support crew.The Oak Farm Hotel is a relatively large wedding venue just off the main road. It is very accessible from the M6 with a spacious and sprawling car park. We shared an ensuite family room with double and single bed. The bathroom was large and a little dated – unless you like the 90s vibe - with bath, shower and very noisy extractor fan which sounded like the room was about to take off.The staff were very friendly and helpful.A traditional breakfast buffet is available in the bistro with a self-service cooked breakfast and only a few healthier options. Due to the family aspect of this hotel, we found the dining room - and indeed our stay - to be a little noisy with young children enjoying their adventure away.Bistro was closed in the evening when we stayed so we cannot comment on dinner. However, the menu looked appetising. We found a McDonalds and other fast food or family friendly outlets within easy driving distance of the hotel.The bike stored was locked away in the board room just off the reception area at the front so it was easily accessible in the morning. A remote controlled gate secures access to the venue.
