Michael Hughes: Well worth a visit. Leather goods on sale. Fascinating museum.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …More
Mark Hudson: Fantastic museum with helpful and knowledgeable staff. A big-up for Ian for his wealth of information and help. Highly recommended and free.
Nigel Forbes: I was pleasantly surprised when I visited this museum. There was no entry fee, so completely free to learn about the history of leather in Walsall and the West Midlands. The museum is small but filled with history. Just a short walk from the town centre and the Walsall Rail Station. There is a small cafe on site so you can sit and eat. What I found is that a lot of people don't realise that there is a picnic area on one side of the building that is rarely visited. It is very easy to miss this gem if you are not looking, but worth the time to explore.
Andrew “Nobby” Stiles: Visited as part of a group, whilst it's free to go and have a look around we were given a tour by Ian.Ian is a very knowledgeable bloke who was very patient with our elderly group, nothing was too much bother. The highlight of our visit for some of the group was the making of personalised keyrings which they made themselves.Well worth a visit.Additional notes - just been back for another visit, this time with the wife.Still every bit as good as the first visit. There's an interactive touch screen TV in the cafe/lobby area which explains a lot, it's well worth having a read through before touring the museum as it explains a lot.
Carmalet Nellie: It's a nice place to visit. Very informative, staff are very friendly and very kind to explain. They explain and answer all our question, and appreciate kids questioning as well.
MOHAMMED HUSSAIN: If you've got little kids just go even for a quick visit for the hands-on make your own leather keyring - a totally underrated memorable experience for them at the bargain price of 60p each...truely amazing.
Jon Tosh Flavell: Walsall Leather centre is a fantastic place to visit for both young and old covering leather work in Walsall as well as some other interesting displays..Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Not sure …More
Samantha Parkes: First time visiting here today and was pleasantly surprised. It's free! So worth visiting if your around the Walsall Town area.My girls got to make a key ring, which they had the choice of around 50 different designs to press. They got to use the machines and really enjoyed making a keep sake they can cherish. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Was informed that they have a fair few craft workshops on, so well worth keeping an eye out for those. Will defiently be visiting again and will look into joining onto more of the craft sessions in the near future. All round, a nice little museum all about leather, great how it is free of charge to enter.
Rebecca Willett: Took my daughter to a drop in craft activity. It was brilliant. No need to book, just turn up. It does get busy but we got there early so was able to get a place. Highly recommend 👍Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Not sure …More

The Locksmith House Museum: what do users think?
A Jewson: Locksmith’s Forge Experience 11/06/22Had a bostin time with Andy & David on Saturday, bashing metal at the museum. Great day out, good chat and butties, but just a great hands on forging, learning experience. All guys who call themselves Black Countrymen, should come to this branch of the Black Country Museum and tune in to the skills our relatives and local industry was built on.
Mark Ryan: Often we were told and advised to go to this museum, finally we found the time, not a bit sorry for the time spent, because it was a fascinating tour, though not long.
Brian Morrall: Love this place, nice to see it opening a little more regularly. Only small but packed with local history. Staff are always attentive and happy to talk about the place.Sometimes it is free to visit, other times you are meant to buy tickets in advance.
Alan Preece: Excellent, thank you. A very enjoyable and interesting visit.
Jamie “DJ-FUNMAN” Firman: took my kids in the holidays they all enjoyed it
English And Proud: very interesting, showing the heritage and hard working folk of the aea
Chris Pierce: The lock museum is very good and interesting. But everytime I drive past it google asks me too review it
Josh Middlebrook: Really interesting working museum!
Joanne Court: This is a fantastic gem in Willenhall! Great volunteers who bring history to life. Please support this local history museum by going to the events.
Unknown7media #: Great museum abit of a time warp to the victorian era!
Michele Woodcock: Great place and very interesting well worth a visit
Dave loydon: Amazing house full of atmosphere
Susie Flude: Superb little museum. Part of (but not attached to) the Black Country Living Museum, it is a fascinating place to take children and adults who are interested in seeing a snippet of Victorian England.
mark haddon: This lock museum was a family run business you can look around inside the family house also the workshop which is interesting to see how the locks where made.
Sarah johnson (Sarahjj71): Very informative lovely little place but you have to phone and book
Steve Antill: A great place, but not open often, so take the chance when it is.
Barry Webb: Very good old fashion museum good for a educational usage

Museum of the Jewellery Quarter: what do users think?
Mystic Toad: Closed! No info whether it will reopen properly. Poor advert for Brum.
Louie molin: It looked like it was a good place to visit, but it was closed,,🤔
Annette: We konden er niet heen omdat het blijkbaar permanent gesloten is.
Carol Downes: Doing a 6 week course in jewellery making
Rechtsanwalt Ulrich Barth: Very good place.
Ngo Hai Anh: Impressive
Sandra B: Lots to see, great guide.
Sergi M: great place to learn about british jewerly industry. it is a former jewerly factory which is a museum now, where you can learn all steps how jewrly used to be made back in the days
Alejandro Guerrero Pérez: A must go of the city, one of its brightest hidden gems
Richard Eastman: A very good and knowledgeable guide with only a small group
EmmaBTW: Great place to understand the history of the local area and jewellery making
Maggie McKinnon: Been several times but our guide Carl was fantastic and extremely knowledgeable.
Monica Kulenovic: Really interesting step back in time. They provide brief tours that provide a thorough background of the era and the people who worked at and ran the jewelry factory. It also includes several demonstrations using the antique equipment to make simple jewelry right in front of you! I’m really glad I went and recommend it.
David Evans: Fantastic time capsule - excellent tour (led by Rachel, I think) of a factory that is just as it was left after its last shift clocked off and went home. That happened, I believe, in 1981, but because it's a factory that hadn't been updated to nineteen eighties standards (due to the owners being so elderly and stuck in their ways), it gives an insight into a much earlier bygone age. Very good indeed!
Miriam Turner: Tour guide Charlie entertaining and informative. Loved it
Claire Houghton: Perfect thank you
Terry Sims: The tour is exactly the right length and intensity to maintain interest
Meirion B Jones: Very informative Well worth a visit
Sallyann Gladman: A very interesting place. A factory seen today as it was left when it closed in 1981. A great guided tour by Carl. Highly recommended.
John Lynch: The museum experience was underwhelming. The guide was pleasant and on script but unable to give detail when asked questions. Not the best.
