Walsall Academy Of Dance: what do users think?
Christine Anson: Great adult ballet and tap classes. A wonderful teacher who takes account of all abilities and makes the class really enjoyable.Would definitely recommend to any person wanting to learn to dance or just move their bodies. No judgement and a warm welcome from other class members.
Ella Mills: It’s children teaching children my daughter was going here for a few years but wasn’t going into any performances or anything just taking the money you can’t even see what they are learning just have to sit in a seating area or come back later I have moved my daughter to a different ballet dance school now where you can live stream and watch them plus she had been in shows .I would t recommend it here .
Lindsey Huburn: Mu daughter love it so much
Golaleh McGinnell: Amazing talented staff, the teachers are fabulous, and give my daughter the reassurance that she needs to progress in her dancing.. classes are made to suit the age of the child, and I feel confident with the competency of the staff, knowing that they take the safety of my daughter seriously when performing in classes and shows. I was amazed by the talent of all the children when this was showcased, and it has given my daughter the inspiration and desire to perform, while fulfilling her excitement and fun of dancing! I would highly recommend this dance school to any excited little dancers out there!
Leigh P: This is a really nice dance school. The teacher's are professional and attentive. However, a man walked through a changing area whilst my 13 year old was getting dressed to use the bathroom. I've also noticed that men are allowed to go in and out of the dance hall where the girls are rehersing. This may be innocent enough, but as a mother it makes me feel very unsure about my child's safety. If not for those incidents I would have awarded a full 5 stars.
Jane Birtwistle: Fabulous long established dance school with very experienced staff. My children love their lessons and receive lots of support and encouragement from the dedicated teachers. Lovely environment and nice to have somewhere to stay for a good coffee during their classes.
Sharon Flowers: great teachers
craig williams: My Daughter has been attending Walsall Academy of Dance for over 12 moths now and is really happy here she really enjoys her classes here as the teachers are fantastic and friendly, you are always greeted with a smile and made to feel very welcome there. I would recommend this school for anyone's children as it is a fantastic school.
Tee R: Absolutely love this place. My daughter has been coming here now since the age of 3 she is now 6 and its her favourite place to be. The atmosphere is very warm and friendly and every one of the teachers are very talented and great with the children. The shows are amazing and its a great way to see just exactly how much she has grown as a little dancer. I honestly cannot fault this dance school, there are lots of incentives for the younger girls to encourage them to grow as young dancers and build their confidence. The feedback given at the end of lessons is always very constructive and individually focussed on each child. My daughter loves all of her teachers and friends here and I think this plays a huge role in the passion she has for dancing.
Aaron Miller: My daughter has been attending this school for almost 3 years and loves it. The staff are lovely easy to talk to and she loves her WAD family. The shows are always top standard and she has learnt so much since being here.
Amy Chapman: My daughter has been coming to WAD since October 2014 and she has progressed so much not just in her dance but in most aspects! It's taught her discipline, and plenty of social aspects she can put into practice outside of dance. Every member of staff senior and student goes above and beyond for each member of their classes and so much more effort goes into it than most places I took her previously. Always a friendly and helpful face at hand whenever needed. Feedback from every lesson she goes to is always readily available if needed and a lot of times the teachers will tell me off their own initiative how she has done. The shows are amazing things to be able to see first hand what she has been learning. Welcoming and friendly place that my daughter will continue attending for years to come!
dawnelise allen: friendly staff with brilliant adult classes, the atmosphere is great, no matter if your a beginner or have had some experience you are included and made to feel at ease. I have come back to dance after a 25yr break and the teachers have been wonderful.I have some physical limitations and these have been taken into consideration everyweek and lessons altered for me when needed I really Can't recommend this dance school highly enough..
Kara Millwardfaulkner: My daughter has been coming for 14 months and she loves it, her teachers have been outstanding and I know she has gained more self confidence through attending classes there and I'd recommend anyone who has a little dancer to go as it's a lovely environment for your child to spend time & learn a new skill.
Ms Fraser: From my experience; difficult to know how your child was progressing as very little feedback in comparison to other schools. Whilst most of the staff were friendly there were a number of senior staff who came across as far less friendly (rude) they wouldn't say hello or goodbye either in the shop or when at the front, let alone speak to you.....It appeared that they only chose to speak to specific customers.
John Watson: An outstanding dance school with highly qualified staff. A welcoming family run business that really wants the best for the children at the dance school. Will be taking all three of my daughters there for a long time to come.
M W: Very disorganised, poor communication and lessons don't always start on time. I sent my daughter here when she was 4. I then stopped taking due to the problems stated above. However I thought I'd give them a second chance when my daughter was 7. Again the school hadn't changed. Seems to be run by teenagers who are pretty clueless. I don't normally write negative reviews but today a man who worked there was extremely rude towards me, insinuating that I was a liar. I shall not be taking my daughter to this dance school or shop again.

Wolverhampton Gymnastics Club: what do users think?
Deana Edwards: My daughter loves training at Wolverhampton Gymnastics Club. She has developed so much since starting 2 years ago. It has helped build her confidence and instilled discipline.
Melissa Allmark: Positive:QualityMy girls absolutely love going to gymnastics here; they look forward to it every week. They only go as a hobby but I'm glad the club brings out the best in them
Melyssa James: lots of things have changed over the past couple of years in the gymnastics club. we are currently following a new programme. we have junior coaches which are assisted by a fully qualified coaches to each gymnastics group. please do not let the OLD reviews put you off the club. please come and see for yourself.
Jo Strong: My daughter has been attending this gymnastics club for almost two years. She began in the recreational gymnastics class and when offered the opportunity moved to their improver group. If your child is interested in gymnastic then the recreational class is a good option as the girls learn to use each of the the four pieces of equipment and work towards earning their badges. The coaches are quite strict and not listening properly or running around is not encouraged. The club has many of their squad gymnasts helping with running the classes which is an excellent experience for them as they are supported by the club to gain their coaching badges. My daughter now attends the improver group where the standards expected of the girls by their coaches are even higher because they are trying to get the girls used to the pressures of a competition. Even at a very junior level the competitions can be intense and at the one I attended, one competitor fell from the beam twice but got straight back on again both times and it is this kind of attitude that the coaches are working on instilling in the girls they coach. My daughter has come out in tears a couple of times but not because she has been spoken to badly but because she wants to get everything perfect and is quite hard on herself and becomes frustrated when she can’t manage something the first time. This means that whenever she receives praise from one of the coaches she is on cloud nine. My daughter has low self-esteem but going to gymnastics has been very positive as she’s very physically fit, has learnt new skills but most importantly she’s learnt resilience and self discipline.
Ac Tech: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,Value
Haider Ali: Critical:Value
Jenna Biddulph: I would not recommend this club. Whilst some of the coaches are decent it's pot luck who you get put with. If you get put with a 'bad' one expect your child to be treated with no respect and spoken to like dirt. We pulled my daughter from the club when she started to become extremely distressed at the thought of going to the club despite loving gymnastics and doing her daily exercises at home. When I raised my concerns with the club regarding the treatment of the children (not just my own) it was dismissed as normal because of the amount of children that they have in a group. I have now taken my daughter elsewhere and it has taken a long time to rebuild her confidence due to the way she was made to feel but thanks to her new coaches who actually know how to nurture and encourage children we are on the right path. If you want your child to do gymnastics in a positive, healthy environment avoid this club!
adamhiggs4: By a big margin the worst gymnastics place I've ever come across
jodie carter: You pay a lot of money for other kids to teach them and I bet they don’t get paid. I know my daughter wouldn’t start and become a brilliant gymnast straight away but she’s been going for nearly a year and I’ve heard no feedback from any teacher or even a letter to say how’s shes getting on I know nothing and she hasn’t progressed from doing stretches, jumps and cartwheels nothing new is introduced to them nothing harder. The older ones just sit around on thier phones laughing and pointing instructions to the younger kids teaching my daughter and the other girls. One guy who’s always in a tracksuit in his early 20’s has got a right bad attitude seen him raise his voice a few times at kids and it wasn’t pleasant to watch. There are some amazing young gymnasts I see practising while i sit through an hour and 15 minutes of my daughter doing stretches and they seem to be the only ones who get attention and feedback from the main trainers. This place needs to change and I wouldn’t recommend anyone waste thier money if you think your child has a talent then travel somewhere else.
Mandy Smith: Please do not send your child to this club, it's terrible. I've just witnessed a small child cry throughout the lesson and my daughter told me that Lexi cries every week - it broke my heart to see this. I'm pulling my child from this club as it has a lot to desire, not good enough for my child. I would give zero stars if I could.
G Mail: Honestly disappointed in this place. My daughter was really excited to start gymnastics and had been waiting a long time on the waiting list. Staff sit around on the apparatus on their mobile phones. Children are made to head the warm ups for the other gymnasts while the staff sit around for half an hour laughing and occasionally throwing out demands. I understand some if the gymnasts are competitors, but honestly they way that they are spoken to by a couple of the staff is disgusting. I never felt comfortable leaving my child there in case she was treated poorly by them. Don't waste your money on this place
Lauren Smaje: My daughter had been a member for 18 months... after 18 months they still have no idea of her name... the communication is non existent! There’s noway to communicate online only via a mobile number which it’s a hop and a catch that someone will answer! I think this gym is good for children to keep fit and do recreational gymnastics but that’s it. I feel I have wasted so much money and so much time in her attending this gym.
Kj: I am in absolute shock at the aggressive behaviour I was greeted with here. After having a mix up in collection times I was running a few minutes late picking my niece up, I was very apologetic to the gentlemen who greeted me on entrance of the the club. As I explained and apologised I was greeted by another member of staff who was extremely rude and shouted at me telling me she can call social services! I calmly stated well that's a little extreme and could you please stop shouting at me. This particular member of staff was very aggressive and very unprofessional in her manner. I'm very disappointed as iv heard good reviews about this club however that member of staff left me concerned as to wether my niece should go back. After this particular member of staff had finished shouting the gentlemen who spoke to me looked visibly embarrassed by the other member of staffs behaviour, he was very polite and understanding. The experience I had was very unpleasant.
Mahin Azari: I haven't seen my daughter be so happy in her whole entire life!
Darren Wagstaff: Both my daughters have trained here. One competed the other did the recreational classes. They have lovely facilities and gymnastics really brings out the character and tenacity in a child that stands them in good stead for adulthood. If you have tried smaller gymnastics clubs before this club makes a good stepping stone to introduce your child to more challenging character building opportunities. There are larger clubs with a greater range of equipment and training regimes but none are as local as Wolverhampton Gymnastics Club. And to be honest in the local area no other gymnastics club is as well equipped as this Wton Gym and getting medals in competitions.

Sandwell Flyers Gymnastics Club: what do users think?
Tiana Thomas: i go there every week staff are amazing i can now do many skills i have never been able to do before an amazing expirience i get each week .
Dian Real: Great club. Good support and training.
Ayanna Allen: My daughter loves it and is learning new things everytime she attends...I'd definitely recommend as they don't mind kids having tantrums and they still persuade them to join in...which is absolutely brilliant because my 3 year old is a law unto herself..
Temitidun Jabagun: Nice place, offering classes for various ages
Ava-joy Hamilton: Great place
Katie Shepherd: Not for three year olds. The class is designed for slightly older children. I was disappointed to see one of the leaders rolling her eyes And putting her head on her arms when she was telling the children to face a certain way and they didn't.
Rob E Dee: My daughter has been going there for around 8 years now, great coaches and a good set of girls and boys who all work together to create a strong competing team
Lewis Woodward: My kid goes there and has learned so much. Has picked up a lot of skills.
Harvey Kinsell: good coaches and brilliant train ong
Emma Harmison: been training here 8 years, made lots of friends and really enjoy it
Stephen Fox: The kids love it
Robert Mansell: Great place for kids to learn new skills and have fun.
Samuel Wesley: Very good to send your child, staff are very kind and caring. I am happy for my daughter to go there 😊
jde 1983: Coach takes the time and encourages my shy child to reach her full potential.
Brett Thompson: Excellent
Yana Konova: Lovely and safety environment. Covid-19 measures very good. The trainers are young and motivational. My girls are happy to be there twice in a week.
Rachel Basterfield: I highly recommend sandwell Flyers. We moved from another local club several years ago after a lack of progression and frustration. All three of my daughters do gymnastics at Sandwell Flyers with my eldest competing at nationals last year. They have formed amazing friendships, have all been encouraged by the coaches to achieve their full potential and the club feels like one big family.
Laura Hughes: Great club! All staff are friendly and polite. My son has been going for 2 and half year and has progressed well over that time.
Samantha Murray: Great coaching, my daughter loves her time at gymnastics, she has gone from strength to strength. The medals on the wall are testimony to that!!
Steven: My daughter loves it here.
Vanessa Jones: I was debating between a 2 star and 3 star. My daughter absolutely loves gymnastics. The reason I have given 2 stars is because my daughter has been attending this club for 2 years now and she cannot even do so much as a 'flip' despite doing just under 5 hours a week in lessons here. (attending twice a week) I personally feel my daughter should of developed a lot more in this time. My personal opinion is that the club is more focused on the money side than pushing your child further. The only thing I can see in 2 years that my daughter has been there is that she can now do the splits.I have never had any feedback about how she is really doing apart from when I ask. For the money you pay, your child should have some sort of development plan or goal sheet they are working towards. The club has now done a restructure in their lessons which means my daughter now loses out on 1.5 hours a week in lessons. The price has pretty much stayed the same. They have knocked £6.00 off my monthly bill despite my daughter now doing 1.5 hours less per week! (So basically they have taken £1.50 off for every 1.5 hours they have taken from my daughter)They are now advertising for more students to attend! I feel they need to work on the current students more and spend time developing them. Again I feel they are more financially motivated than making sure they have are delivering quality to the students. The teachers are lovely here and my daughter does enjoy attending but if you want your child to succeed further and be pushed every lesson, I just don't feel Sandwell Flyers are that club yet.

Gemma Handley: Son loves it!
Alan Sivorn: Really good atmosphere. Very good with the students. Would recommend.
Michael Trotter: We were made very welcome, the class was well run, everyone enjoyed themselves.
daz clutton: Poor gym allows favouritism, change routines with less than 24 hours before they are due to compete. Results prove the lack of knowledge in subject due to such young inexperienced coaches.Choose another gym.
Leah Rudge: I really want to star go to gym now
