Staff couldn't be more helpful, particularly Dan and Lauren. Nothing was too much trouble and the hotel looked absolutely beautiful for the whole day. Service and food at the wedding breakfast was first class, everyone commented on how lovely and hot the meal was. The evening buffet was beautiful and a fantastic variety for all tastes. Thank you Oak Farm, you deserve every success.
Jem Jennings: Had to book this as PI couldn't put me up another night, very happy they couldn't. The rooms were a little dated but very clean & very thing in there I needed. Had a very nice dinner here very friendly attentive staff.Had potato & leek soup for starter. Was very nice with a warm roll was a nice touch. Fish & chips for main was very nice. With a nice piece of new York cheesecake for pudding.A little expensive for evening meal but it's sign of the times with prices going through the roof.Sorry about the pictures, had started the soup, but completely forget the fish n chips.

Brook Marston Farm Hotel: what do users think?
Protector Offentlig: Booked here for work whilst at an expo at the NEC.The room: stepping into a grandparent's bedroom or a museum. Suspect the last time this hotel had any renovation work done was circa 1984. The trouser press completed the look.Being in the middle of nowhere and arriving/departing by taxi I took the easy option of eating in the bar/restaurant. I come from a city famous for deep frying everything from pizzas to mars bars and even I could not quite believe the extent the £17 chicken burger had been fried to. Had hoped to remove some of the bad taste with a pudding but staff didn't bother to ask, had to approach the bar to get the bill settled.Wifi in room was also poor, I didn't try the tv, breakfast was standard fare but if you're travelling for work I'd probably avoid this place. It seems to do weddings based on the various items scattered around, not sure I'd trust this place with a special day. Also - fire alarm panel in hallway flashing with multiple system faults. Not a good sign.Safety: Fire alarm panel flashing with multiple system faults.Walkability: In the middle of nowhere.
Julie Clarke: Wow.... but not in a good way (it wouldnt let me post this review if I didnt give it at least 1 star). This has got to be the coldest, loneliest place we have ever stayed! We wondered around the hotel freely looking for someone to check us in. Nicola helped us and she was lovely! (the best thing about this hotel). On check in - 35mins after the 3pm check-in time, we were then told (by another member of staff) that the chef had worked tirelessly the previous week and needed a night off! If it wasn't for the pub next door (I've left a separate review for them - praising their hospitality) our overnight stay would have been a total shambles. It was obvious at breakfast the next morning we were the only guests on the hotel!🤔..... never again!!
alto sonu: I was in here for 2weeks during Ramadan months they, everything was good and they maid special food for me.Throughout my stay.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Karin&Micke Svensson: An incredibly cozy hotel with a nice walk along the canal. Fantastic place if you want to bring a dog with you. If we go to Crufts again, we will definitely stay there againRooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Great view, Quiet …More
Jane “Jane” Lynch: So in need of a renovation. Smells of really bad damp, worn carpets, cold communal areas, small bar, uninviting spaces. Lane leading up to it full of bad pot holes, sorry, not reccomendedRooms: 1/5|Service: 2/5|Location: 2/5 …More
Louise Sharp: Room had an electric heater only and was cold for our four year old son. Bathroom inadequate, shower like a watering can which leaked all over the floor. Waitress incredibly rude and didn't accommodate dietary requirements. Left the hotel a day early due to poor conditions and after contacting the brand manager was refused a refund for the night we didn't stay. We were staying at the hotel due to a friend's funeral.
ynnek htims: The food is very nice but expensive for what it is for example a chicken burger and halloumi fries came to £24.50, 9” pepperoni pizza is £12. The rooms are clean but in need of a make over. The staff are very polite and well mannered.
Charlotte Colquhoun: Often a long wait for bar service while staff are too busy talking to friends. Beds are poor quality with unbearable sagging in the middle. The bath tub leaks onto the floor from the side panel. Very very loud late night functions next to workers rooms on a Monday night, when I complained all I got was “sorry”. Wouldn’t dream of staying again or recommending. Over priced and under serviced.
Helen Simpson: We booked a Christmas night which was sold as drinks reception, Christmas decorations food and fun. For some reason we were combined with a murder mystery night which wasn’t at all what we wanted. No drinks reception and no Christmas atmosphere. We were in a very cold marquee and had to wear our coats throughout the meal which was cold as brought across a courtyard. Whole thing was a disaster and I only gave one star as is no option to give no stars. Avoid this place, management clearly do not care about customer service
Simon Buckland: Good clean and tidy rooms. Good service for checking in and breakfast. All the staff were friendly and politeRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
Andrei Sorbalo: Very good. Thank you
wendy odonnell: We have just spent two nights over Christmas at this hotel. Three issues we had were :1) there is no sign at the turn off into the lane where the hotel is. Reception said there used to be a sign but for some reason it's disappeared. As a consequence, two of us drove straight past and had to stop and ask for directions. 2) we tried to pay cash for our bar drinks but were told the hotel doesn't take cash. This should be clearly stated on their website. Eventually the manager agreed for us to open a tab and pay cash at reception when we left. The manager was extremely pleasant so no complaints there. Couldn't get hot water from the shower so had to make do with luke warm. Not sure what the problem there was. However, we didn't complain as the wonderful staff, food and quirkiness of the hotel more than made up for the three issues. In particular, Nicola the events manager was so friendly and superbly good at her job. A mention also for the receptionist. Nothing was too much trouble. So do give the hotel a chance It's a great place.
Sarah Jevons: DO NOT STAY HERE!! Stayed here on the 9th December for a Christmas party. What an absolute waste of money! The hotel was cold, the food was cold, the after disco party was in a marquee which had NO HEATING until we notified management and they told us the gas had ran out! I had to go back to my room to put my coat and woolly hat on just so I could try and enjoy my night!! Don’t even get me started on the bed!! I wouldn’t let my dog sleep on it! No springs at all, just dropped straight through to the bed base! After complaining to the Commercial Director - Sam Ummit - he denies all of the above and now proceeds to ignore my emails! Absolutely fuming at the customer service provided!! I’ve asked for a refund but no joy! Merry Christmas 🤬
Steve P: Very expensive alcoholic beverages, poor quality food for the price. Staff however were lovely. No disabled toilet, space very limited.Service: 3/5|Location: 4/5 …More
david westwood: I’ve taken some time to think about my evening at this hotel.I attended on the 9th for a works Christmas party with the all inclusive package. The venue itself is a lovely venue, however, the staff seemed uninterested in being there and seemed annoyed if you ordered a drink. The food was ok however, the soup was luke warm at best whilst the butter was frozen solid, making it unspreadable. The Turkey dinner was rather bland with undercooked vegetables, the meat was cold and the gravy again was luke warm. As for the pudding, I had the brownie and yes it was nice but definitely not brownie texture. I did try the Christmas pudding from a friends dessert and nearly threw up as it had a disgusting texture of rubber. Now for the evening entertainment, baring in mind it was in the minus figures on that night. The entertainment was held in a marquee, once we entered, the temperature was the same as outside. The heating system was not working and no one had checked. It was that cold In there that you could see your breath. It was that cold in there that people put extra clothes on, danced with coats, hats and scarves on and the DJ apologising for how cold it was and that he’s enduring it himself along with the staff. After it was highlighted to a manager, around 30 minutes after the marquee was open to the guests, the heating was eventually fixed and after over an hour of being in there, we finally had warm air blowing in. Unfortunately several of our group have all come down with illnesses since that evening.Several people have complained to them directly where they pretty much denied it all.Utterly disgusted with the service there, I wasted money and would definitely not go there again.
Karen Priestley: Food ok, not worth the prices. Very expensive alcoholic beverages. No disabled toilets not wheelchair friendly building, however staff friendly and helpful.Service: 3/5 …More
Tom Yuen: I was given the keys to room 11. My god it was disgusting. I left within 5 minutes.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More

Win Spooner: We went to the Barns for a mother's day lunch, treated by our daughter and Son in law. Also our son in laws parents came. We had prewarned them about my allergies and I must say they were absolutely brilliant. As I was apprehensive, I had a word with Jennie, and she double checked with the kitchen. We had a fabulous meal, and all the staff we met were very pleasant. A special thank you to Jennie, who handled everything really well, and was so pleasant and friendly. xx
