All pendrell hall staff were amazing and couldn't of been more helpful.Danielle was absolutely amazing and helped make our day perfect with no issues.. Thank you so much.Unfortunately, the venue catering ruined our experience on the run upto the day and weren't much better on the actual day with the jenkinsons catering team being unprofessional. Although we had an amazing day with absolutely no fault to the pendrell hall staff I would have definitely looked at other venues if we would have known how awful the jenkinsons catering company were as they are the only food suppliers that are allowed to be used at pendrell Hall.

Tina Kinsella: Our wedding took place on Sunday 11th February 2024 and from the day we walked through doors in May 2023 we knew it was right for us. The staff are amazing the events team are excellent but I have the utmost respect for Kirsty who made our day absolutely magical. She made everything seem effortless which I am sure it isn't but it all went on behind the scenes. I will be forever grateful to Kirsty for giving me the day I didn't realise was possible. She took care of my elderly mom which took some stress of me 😁. All of the guests had nothing but praise for all staff including the caterers and thought Kirsty was fabulous.Well done and thank you.

Honestly, I love that the first time we saw it in person was the day before the wedding.Pros:Aesthetics- Davenport a beautiful manor house all on its own. No decorations needed to make this place picture worthy. For a bride that was carrying her dress and every wedding item on a carry on and luggage-this was essential. I had no room for decorations, and it wasn't needed here. I knew that there is not a single wedding I would see from couples I knew in America that would have pictures that looked like my wedding. This place is where the little girl in me who is obsessed with pride and prejudice and regency era inspired romance novels thrived. Dream wedding aesthetics for me were achieved. We have both video and pictures of the day, and they are amazing because of how pretty this place is.The staff- I think the staff was a huge part as to why the two days we spent here were so lovely. It truly came down to the little details that made this experience so lovely.- Charley was our wedding planner and was fantastic. Having a wedding planner to assist me was invaluable and I probably would have pulled my hair out without her. She toured the venue on WhatsApp with me, connected me with all the vendors, set up transportation and found and booked the pub we ate at the night before. She made sure that we had all the wedding day details down before the wedding, so I did not have to make a single decision on the day of the wedding. This is a big reason I was able to be so present and relaxed. I also will include a picture of Charley adjusting my husband's boutonniere and I think it’s the cutest moment and so glad the photographer captured her because she was a part of our wedding day.- Ian was another amazing person who was vital to our positive experience. We saw him throughout our days there. He helped us pick wedding menu that was good for me as a vegetarian and that suited the American side of the guest while being sophisticated enough to impress everyone. He did wine tasting with us the day before since we were unable to do a tasting prior to arriving like most couples do. He was the person who was there day/night during our stay to ensure we had what we needed.Food- We didn't have to contract out for food and wine because Davenport was able to provide the service for us. We selected the menu on a video call and didn't taste anything until we arrived. The food was fabulous. We did an afternoon tea on the day of we arrived outside, and it was adorable. The dinner food on day of wedding was great in presentation and taste. The breakfast was honestly impressive too. We finished off the was a cheese tower in lieu of a wedding cake

The day was everything we could have imagined, and more.Throughout the whole planning process down to the details on the day, nothing was too much trouble for the team. They made every effort to make sure we had the best day.We honestly couldn't have faulted the venue in any way. Zoe Forrest: What can I say...6 months on from our wedding and we are still processing the incredible day, made perfect by the whole team at Davenport House.On our first appointment before we booked, Lizzie greeted us with such enthusiasm and every effort was made to give us a taste during that first appointment of the passion that goes into every wedding they host.Megan was great during the two-year run-up to the Big Day, accepting as many meetings as I felt I needed and finalising everything in plenty of time to put my mind at ease, and communication was never an issue. Einstein the pup also greets you at most meetings, which is an added bonus!The day ran SEAMLESSLY. Megan and the team managed everything and I didn't have to think for myself at all during the day; everything ran according to plan and nothing was too much trouble.I would recommend Davenport as a wedding or special events venue to everyone and anyone and I will keep returning for the other events they host, including their infamous Afternoon Tea.Well done Lizzie, Megan & Team, you nailed it!

Joe and Lizzie regularly checked in on plans and would take an active interest in how each step of the planning was going, the dog Einstein also making a regular appearance.But special praise must be reserved for Charley our wedding planner. Again, nothing, absolutely nothing was too much trouble. She is absolutely on it - meticulous in planning and helpful at every point. She can do it all - the day of the wedding, she waited on our every movement, helping us with the dress, drinks, breaks, toilets trips

Mark Horton Photos: Shot a wedding here in 2022 and really enjoyed it. Super cool venue with tons of room for photos, the ceremony room has really nice dramatic light and there's a really nice back room to chill. The wedding breakfast room has nice light and the staff are super nice.

keely: We had our wedding here at the end of last October. Davenport is the most incredible wedding venue ever! We are bias but for good reason. After going to many weddings last year, Davenport tops them all. It’s not just the beautiful period property you’re getting, you’re getting an incredible team. The planning process with Lizzie and Roxanne was amazing. Our planner Roxanne and the team ran the whole day effortlessly. Absolutely nothing went wrong and nothing was too much to ask.We are foodies and the food is just phenomenal and the service along with it was amazing. The evening food of fish and chips was a massive hit with guests. The portions were massive!! Any empty glasses at our wedding breakfast were filled instantly, even when we weren’t looking. The cocktails from the bar reminded me of the Great Gatsby with Sparklers and giant bubbles. Ian the manager is also an incredible asset to the team. The staff are constantly there for your every need but in such a subtle and seamless way.It honestly felt like we had davenport as our home for the weekend. I felt like we were in Bridgerton. The breakfast the next day was a perfect send off for our guests. Very impressed how helpful staff are with elderly guest. Ramp for wheelchairs on front steps and always on hand for a cup of tea. I could not rate Davenport highly enough, 11/10! Thanks for making it the best day of our lives!

Anna Davenport: Held our wedding at Davenport House in June, such a wonderful day, the staff were incredible from the point of first visit all the way to waving us off the morning after. The attention to detail was very impressive, food was absolutely delicious, the chef helped us build our own menu for no extra cost, the house and bedrooms are so beautiful too. The staff also did a lot of the decoration for us which took the pressure off as we didn't have a florist.Many thanks to all the staff for making our day so special, especially Ian, Megan and Roxanne. Suzanne Mulligan: Beautiful venue for a wedding. We went to the evening reception so can't comment on the day. The evening food was freshly baked pizza and sausages and burgers with wedges. I personally wasnt keen on where the food was served in relation to the rest of the rooms. I feel a lot of people were not aware of where it was, as you couldn't see it. Would have had some kind of signage possibly to direct guests.Although it was in a remote place, it was a direct route of main roads and the sat nav directed us straight to it. It is down a small country lane, so a few pot holes and the car park didn't seem big enough but we found a space. I think if others parked more considerable, then you would have fit more on comfortable. Drinks were a little expensive in our opinion to. Cost just over £13 for a glass of rosè and a pint of ale.Really lovely outside area where we sat the whole night tbf as it was a nice evening.
