Bark Inn Kennels: what do users think?
Carl Fletcher: Excellent kennel. Greyhound Foster and adoption.
toby jones: if I could give 0 stars I would…Contacted the both lady’s from the kennels regarding behavioural issues with a greyhound I rehomed from them saying I would need to bring her back and instead of getting a reply I’ve been blocked. Absolutely shocking…
Kaz Fletcher: DONT BOARD YOUR DOG HERE, I went and had a look!!Just like putting your dog in a rabbit hutch
Rose Cato: It gives greyhounds a second chance fantastic place xxx
Victoria winstone: We had a dog staying here while on holiday for 2 weeks and never felt so relaxed being awayI had pics sent to me with updates how he's doing. I will be using it againStaff very friendly
Leslie Ann Portlock: A wonderful please to take your Greyhound, for boarding and a rehousing.Pleasant staff always willing to help you. Well recommend and Worth the visiting.
Judith Mcnally: My dogs came back and they had bad stomachs. I won't use them again. They were both poorly for a couple of days.
Andrew Washbourne: Adopted Jenny. Ahappy day. Staff were lovely and very caring. I advise anyone who is looking for a pointy nosed best mate to give them a call.
Rob Collett: From the viewing we had we were very pleased an now have booked Ringo in for a week when we are away you was highly recommend
Barbara Hutchins: Very nice and pleasant staff
Lisa Tarry: Positive:Professionalism
Gerry Singleton: Top place
ian ralph: Great people doing a fantastic job
Laura: Love this place! Will recommend them to anyone looking to rehome a dog. It is easy to see how much they love the animals in their care.
Digs Sinden: Very kind & loving to the dogs. Highly recommended.
Sandra Brown: Popped a large crate into them I didn't need. Lovely lady who I spoke to. Always help your local kennels.
Steve Wardman: A great bunch of people who really care for the dogs in their care. I really struggled with so many other rescue centers who are mostly extremely difficult to adopt from. Bark Inn still have strict guidelines but they also realise that it's unlikely to ever find an absolute perfect match and they make compromises for the sake of the dog being able to be adopted in to a loving home. I couldn't recommend them highly enough.
alan groome: Due to the Covid situation you can only visit by appointment. But if you're planning on adopting a dog they are very thorough before you are allowed to visit to see the dog in question. They specialise in greyhounds mainly ex-racers and do an excellent job.
Dominic Smart: Amazing kennel!Debbie is more than helpful. Her Greyhound advice is second to none x
jayne van toren: Brilliant kennels.lots of good advice.match dogs to adopters.great staff.
Karen “Karen” Bassett: Lovely caring people doing a fantastic job finding homes for ex racing greyhounds!

Rosedene Rescue Centre: what do users think?
Lunar Tutorials: Shut this place down!! Rundown at first when I passed I thought it was abandoned turns out it’s not save these dogs from this! Holes in ceilings no soft bedding horrid place overall
Karen Heller: Perhaps instead of going on about this place go and volunteer and take dogs out for walks. This is not funded by gov etc
Michael Frankie: Tried calling this rescue centre many times no-one ever answering, read reports something does not seem right about how it operates went there today, looks like it has finally been closed down, they should bulldozer it all over now ,as it is a place that caused misery and distress to vulnerable innocent animals
Chris Summerfield: Really nice environment the manager was verry helpful. Would recommend.
Pauline Devine: Absolutely discusting place. Do not entertain them. Poor dogs in awful conditions should be banned from having dogs here
Kumar Rajesh Badhan: Very poor service, call them for assistance and was not helpful at all, assistance just said I am going out and can't help you, also was unable to give us any other numbers or details who could help us. Very poor service.
Luke “Munchy” Barrier: This place is closed down and for good reason
Samantha Tupling: They helped me alot when we rescued a beautiful boy and unfortunately he was settling within the family. He has a massive piece of my heart and they supported us unconditional
Nena Chahil: I have read all previous reviews and I dont know who is who or what has been going on but I can tell you of my experience here.I started volunteering here a few years back and kennels are cold and no soft bedding for the dogs. I raised this with a woman in the office which had blonde hair. She told me the owner lives in the house next door to the site and doesnt care. I approached IKEA and Wilkinson's to see if someone could donate soft bedding but they sadly couldnt.I also noticed no one used to walk the staffie- my favourite- so I used to take them.I didn't like this place and felt so sorry for the dogs
Julie Summers: Positive:Quality
Bob Firmstone: not helpful it would seem they don't want people to adopt dogs to be fair most rescue places are the same
Steven Morris: Critical:Professionalism
Julie Emery: Critical:QualityI went there years ago , wasn't impressed dogs seemed distressed, didn't have a good feel to me.
Tina Mannion: My uncle always gives a home to your dogs
Candice Shanahan: Really helpful and friendly x
Leanne Wills: We had a lovely westie from them back in 2017, our little Holly was beautiful but sadly she passed away this year. Unfortunately we haven’t had the same experience with Rosedene. We had a dog from them Oct 2020, we had to send the dog back a couple of days later as he bit my Nans hand quite badly. The dog should never have been rehomed again as it had been several times. Although he was a loving little animal, he wasn’t safe to be around people. We were told we would have our money back as we were told to pay £90 for the dog. The owner doesn’t want to know and we keep being promised a call but heard nothing.
Letizia perez parkins: The lady here is soooo friendly and it's very evident that the dogs LOVE her because she genuinely cares about the dogs. I visited yesterday and she had a perfect dog in mind for me and when i met him i jist fell in love. I had to talk it over with my partner and we decided to go ahead. So this morning i went to collect my new precious boy 😍 if you want to give a dog a good home ,you should visit this place. I will recommend it to all my friends. Thank you x
Linda williams: I had to do the heartbreaking thing and take a dog into this rescue centre. I was with my friend at the time and said if I get a bad feeling about it I'm turning around!!!Not once did I have a bad or uncomfortable feeling about this rescue centre. I genuinely couldn't believe how lovely and supportive the lady was I was in floods of tears and she was so genuine and lovely I calmed down i was reassured that my dog was going to be fine while he had his stay. I was so worried that Gizmo would be there for a while but he was snapped up in no time. If I could give more stars I'd give a million. My heart was breaking to take my dog here but when you know they are going to a loving beautiful home then its doesn't hurt as much I'm so happy I found this place they are amazing.
Tammy Grainger: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,ResponsivenessThis is now under new management and We rescued evie from here Sam was lovely all the way threw she told us everything we needed to know and we now have the most loving beautiful dog we could ask for thank you Sam you have made our family complete xx
Joanne Duggins: Unfortunately due to no fault of her own I had to take Evie to the rescue... Upon arrival we were met with enthusiasm for finding her a home... Even before I left a new home was lined up for her... Now she is with the family... I can't thank Sam enough for her help.... I am just so happy that Evie is now with her furever home.. Thank you so much xx

Small Dog Rescue: what do users think?
Andrew Bevin: We recently got a little resce dog lucky for my dad he's adorable only been a few days and he's settling in nicely I have one happy dad thankyou small dog resce
Millie Bowker: After a phone call with Glennis deciding to re-home our miniature schnauzer, she immediately found a great foster home for her. Her foster placement was absolutely lovely and we felt so comfortable in leaving our dog with her and felt that she would be well cared for. Glennis has then very kindly updated us a few weeks later with a photograph of our dog in her new home with her new owner and furry friend! She looks so happy and we are so grateful to have recieved this photograph. We cannot thank small dog rescue enough as it was such a hard decision to re-home due to family medical reasons. Thank you all again
Mandy Keay: We got teddy from small dog rescue service he was the loviest dog I ever knew
KAY GALLETT: Lovely dogs are worth a visit very friendly 😊 people very helpful 😀
michelle foxall: I just think that by saying no to people who live in a flat without a secure garden is unfair. Surely it would be beneficial of the home visit, to determine the outcome. Of course the wellbeing of the animal is paramount that goes without saying. Just give the adopters a chance as I'm sure you would be happy to see the dog settled in a loving home with regular walks and runs. You do a fantastic job in a never ending need for your services. Thank you
Geoff Totten: Understanding Friendly Efficient
Christine Hunter: I've got my little shih tzu Panda who came from Small Dog Rescue and I found Clive & Glenys very helpful & caring people. Also Sam who fostered Panda seems to care very much about the dogs she looks after.
Gaynor Robinson: Thankyou Glenis and Clive for letting us adopt Lexi. Small dog rescue is an amazing well run professional refuge for rescue dogs.
Pam Wood: Such a brilliant service, they understood my situation and went above and beyond. Glenys was brilliant and did their most for every animal in their care recommend highly
Sarnjit Mitha: Just wanted to echo everyone else's sentiments on how Clive and Glenys are such caring and passionate people ensuring they find their dogs forever loving homes.....A huge heartfelt thank you for all that you do and for bringing our adorable and much loved Frenchie/Shitz Tsu Charlie into our lives!
Gary Roberts: Let me just say what a marvellous job this centre does, people who want to adopt are thoroughly checked out and there homes to make sure these animals are going to the right people and for the right reason, they are all in Foster homes hence transition is a lot easier, we had a 14 week old pup who after 2 nights and days is really settled with his eating sleeping and toilet training. Fantastic place highly recommend and will always use in future.
Adam Wardman: Amazing rescue no kennels here just foster homes all Dogs are fully accessed and vet checked keep up good work
Lespaul Gibson: Fantastic couple glenis Clive all dogs in Foster homes they are spayed and vet checked brilliant service
Lisa Cowles: Very good experience would definitely recommend
Dave Furnival: Very helpful they really couldn’t of done anymore for us above and beyond
Louise mcleod: Fantastic rehoming of our little dog, whom sadly we couldn't keep,we have had updates and photos of her all the way through the process and she has been found a loving family with whom she looks so happy with.Cant thank Small Dog Rescue enough for their loving help and support, thank you again.
Vickie Wheldon: Absolutely lovely lady , I needed to rehome my dog as new landlord wouldn't allow any pets I was heartbroken the hardest thing I had to do I turned to small dog rescue she was sent to a lovely Foster home and I was comforted and assured my dog would be looked after and that's exactly what they did I've had lovely pics and updated on my dogs new home I'm still sad but she looks so happy with her new mum and dad thank you so much none of this has been easy but it was a smoother transition because of the lovely people I would definitely recommend small dog rescue because they really care and have the dogs best interests at heart xx
Rosie Whitehouse: I have just adopted Mya from small dog rescue she is adorable and Clive and Glenys are really wonderful the way they look after the Rescue dogs, they are spayed and dental treatments , they also make sure your dog has her/his injections, every thing to make the adoption good for new owners, my Mya is such a little love and is really wonderful to be around. I can't praise them enough.Thank you CliveGlen
Wendy Dunmore: Thank you for our beautiful Cavapoo Donna. Perfect match for Angel. Settling in really well.Clive and Glenis were amazing and very particular in who they adopted the dogs to. Very caring, loving and highly recommended.Bev the Foster carer was amazing. Thank you.The small dog rescue family really do care about thewelfare and best outcome for the dogs. Health checks etc advice is 5 star.I have been rescuing dogs for over 20 years and have never had such great serviceThank you all so much for all your hard and great work xx

C.A.A.R.S: what do users think?
Kiren Kumar: Excellent staff
Matt K: I cannot fault this rescue centre. I found the best friend anyone could ever wish for. She was well looked after by the team there before we had her and I wouldn’t change her for the world. Tegan has become our world and I can’t thank CAARS enough for having her so I could find her. She’s perfect and the staff there are lovely and doing a great job
Brianna Rees: This place looks extremely unsanitary. The dogs are cramped in tiny dirty kennels and some of them look like there may be blood on the ground. I believe the police should be called on this place and I wouldn’t be surprised if they are soon.
Debbie Partridge: Very friendly we dropped some blankets off and went and took our grandson round to see the dogs and cats...although it is a bit of a dirt track to get down too
Alan Wright: They never put an animal down, there are dogs in their care that have been there some years waiting for their foreverhomes, the staff and volunteers work hard taking care of the stray cats and dogs.Heart breaking seeing the now resident dogs that have been in there years, one has been in their care for 7 years, others three and four years.
Dylan Efford: Such nice people, thank you for Lady.
June Jenkinson: A few hiccups on our part, but the girl's helped us sort them. We adopted Ben ❤ He has settle well into our family, Thank you for the great work you all do at C.A.R.R.S we will be forever grateful for filling our empty house with our gorgeous boy 🤗❤
Clive Lawrence: I stopped using this place completely, had rescue cat and dog from these years ago and was better then, sadly they have passed with old age, but my current dog which I didn't get from these stayed here a couple of times and the 2nd time I was not happy with how she came out from there, filthy and really off her food when she came home. So never again and I then started to use a local dog minder and way better than the trauma of this dump. Sorry but they've gone down hill and horrible now. Plus my dog I had from these back years ago was only £85 not extortionate prices, this isn't a charity price at what they've been charging for rehoming pets.
lucy pearson: Rescued a 3 month old puppy from here, we were over joyed with our new arrival. We have paperwork to say he was chipped and was given worm and flea treatment, however 2 weeks after he was treated we are now dealing with worms :/ and an itchy skin condition. We have also had to have him re chipped as the vets couldn’t find one.I have no idea what has gone wrong here, but I am very glad he is now in my care.I’ve given 2 stars as the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly when we were there, they work really hard to care for the dogs and cats in their care, it’s just unfortunate that this has happened to our little boy.
Phil Griffin: I'd score less if Google allowed but we rescued a 6 week old puppy from this place that was riddled with worms and was absolutely traumatized from such a short time on this planet.
Scott Matthews: The staff were horrible, The fact they suggest they rescue animals is a joke. Rescuing an animal would mean taking the animal from a bad situation to a good one. The dogs are left in poor conditions which I believe being stray on the streets would suit them better. The only people visiting here should be someone with the authority to take the animals away
Helen Prince: I phoned up about rehoming my dog I told them all about him (funny when meets new people), I was told I could drop him anytime, I built my self up and took time off work and took him this morning, to be greeted by a very unhelpful lady, because my dog wouldn't go to her in a few seconds, she asked me what his like, I said he takes time to get to know people, she said we can't take him that was it. This decision was really hard for me and my family, and she didn't even try, if they had said they needed to see him 1st that would of been ok, she needs people training and dog training if you ask me. Angry and upset they wasted my time.
Tony Young: First class care and good prices for boarding.
Julia Domingos: I left my 2 dogs there for 2 weeks a old dog a a puppy both of them have had the kennel cough vaccine. When i came back to pick them up they furr was full of urine special the older one ,and they still got kennel cough, the vet said that it was a diferent stripe .I dont advised that people should put they pets there.
pro clo: Came to have alook around, was full of puppies at £700 a pup this isn't a rescue centre just interested in making money!
Paulina Cani: We visited the kennels with my sister. When arrived we were greeted and the lady seemed polite. She showed us the dogs that are available for adoption. We looked around lots of puppies and older dogs. We stood there for a while, the kennels were tiny. And I felt terrible for all these dogs. When the lady was passing by I've asked if the dog we picked was cat friendly she said no and and I've asked about the fees. (The she left, would have been nice to hear more about other dogs ) The fees where £700 for a puppy (which is incredibly high, at the moment breeders will sell their dogs for less which shouldn't be a case) and older dogs £400/500, still really high. Not everyone can afford paying such a "donation" which felt like breeders price tag.we went ahead with the puppy. I wish the ladies would give more information and try more to get the dogs to be adopted, ask us questions and be interested on who we are. It was lacking that a lot and we felt like there wasn't any advice or information from staff ( you do get piece of paper "contract" which has the info however should have been guided more by staff. For such a high donation I would expect this dogs to be living in large kennels with plenty of space, toys and blankets not all had that. Im glad there are people who want to help but there is fin line between helping and making money, the donation should be much lower do the dogs can find loving home quicker. The place should offer them a lot more space.
Martin Hassett: We have 're homed two beautiful dog's from C.A.A.R.S who are great friendly animal loving staff.
Nicky: Could be a lot cleaner there was a jack russell there and is nails were a disgrace well overgrown
Wayne Lawton: Didn't know my dog could eat 7,5kg of food in 5 days apparently she keeps tipping her foot on the floor never done it in the last 6 years. Definitely not going back there
Alison Thomas: We left our 3 doggies here for a week as our usual place was fully booked. When we arrived we were greated by a young lad with zero enthusiasm at all, didnt seem to want to listen. I explained everything as our 15yr old dog had a skin condition so needed spray and also bad teeth due to age so needed her food softening. He seemed to get it in the end. On collecting our dogies our two puppies were scared stiff and couldnt wait to get out of there and our 15yr olds not been the same, very quiet and wouldnt eat. since then weve had to have our old dog put to sleep due to a mouth infection which lead to organ failure which the vet thinks could be due to food not being softened. Overall not impressed with this place and will NOT be recommending it to anyone.
Petar Jovicich: Friendly and helpful staff if you are looking to rehome a dog would suggest giving them a try
