PetStay West Midlands-North & South Staffordshire: what do users think?

Louis Lotter: Sue has done a great job looking after Coco and Lily. Will recommend her to anyone and will definitely use her services in the future again. Thank you Sue!!

Janet Blick: BONNIE was very happy being looked after here. She settled in very well and I was pleased she was being cared for so well

Ryan Mitchell: Pet stay were great, it was our first time using them and the first time we had left our dog with someone other than family or friends. Communication was great and we felt really reassured. Claudia had our dog for over a week and gave us regular updates of how he was getting on, she was amazing and iur dog was well looked after. Could not recommend pet stay enough. Will definitely be using them again.

Anne Butcher: Thank you PetStay. Our Labrador Ben had a lovely holiday with Janet and Pete while we were away. It was so reassuring to receive regular updates and photos of Ben throughout the week and meant we could relax knowing he was well cared for. It was obvious Ben was enjoying himself, going on regular walks and playing with Janet and Pete's own dog. We will certainly use PetStay again and would recommend you to friends and family. Anne & Richard Butcher

Kirsty Smith: Easy to book, meet the hosts and Bonnie was well looked after

Anna Hewins: This was the first time we’d left our dog whilst going away and therefore we were understandably quite anxious.Booking through Petstay couldn’t have been easier. Communication with Sue was excellent and she matched us with a lovely couple. Janet and Peter provided a fantastic home for our nervous Whippet and treated him like one of the family. We were given regular updates whilst away that really put our minds at ease.I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Petstay and will definitely be using the service again.

Vicki Brinkworth: Very thorough service. Margaret and Paul took really good care of Marley - I don’t think he wanted to come. Would definitely use Petstay again

steven lewis: We received a very professional service from Sue at Petstay. Her communication was excellent and she matched us with the perfect dog sitters that cared for our two dogs impeccably while we were away. We will definitely recommend Petstay and definitely use them again. Thank you Petstay 👍

Sunny Bamra: Great communication, professional to cater for individual needs, finding the ideal care for my Dobie. Thank you so much 😊

Judith Wright: I have used PetStay on a few occasions now and have always been happy with the service provided. The booking process is very easy and efficient to use. My shih tzu Alfie has just spent the weekend with a lovely carer, Sue. It was obvious he had been content there and came home happy and settled! It is lovely to go away having peace of mind that your dog is being well cared for!

Diane Bennett: . We received updates throughout his stay and even a follow up to check everything was ok after his first night back at home. Really happy with Petstay and Oscar’s carers. Would recommend - thank you!!

frances heynes: I found PetStay very helpful when I needed to leave my dachshund for a holiday. They introduced me to a pet sitter who also had a miniature dachshund. My dog is very nervous and has anxiety but she was able to calm her and gave her lots of stimulation. My dog enjoyed her stay and was happy when we collected her.

John Hilton: Great service. Well organised. Very thorough vetting process - on both sides! Tremendous value too.

Nicola Deeming: Mojo had a fabulous time with Fiona and her family. They were the perfect match for us. He’s an energetic springer spaniel and they walked him miles every day. Fiona was kind enough to send regular photos and updates about him and that really helped put our minds at rest so that we could enjoy our holiday. I wouldn’t hesitate to use the service again.

Vickey Bains: Petstay really helped when i was looking for a good dog boarder for my puppy. My puppy was well looked after whilst i was away and we came back to a very happy dog.

Claudia Ojea Sánchez-Martín: We needed someone to look after our pug for a week while we were on holiday and would definitely recommend PetStay. It's always a tough decision but there was a lot of reassurance from the moment we got in touch. Great communication between the carers and us, sent loads of pictures and he had a great time. They are the best if you want a peace of mind while you are away, he was left in the best hands.

Jo Fay: . Check them out, I recommend them over kennels every day of the week.

Pawpounders Dog Daycare Sutton Coldfield: what do users think?

Maxine Collins: Excellent field for hire, used for a dog meet up. There were some representative staff at the event who were very friendly and welcoming. Great HUGE off lead area too with water available.

Zanna Payak: .He’s has great enrichment/stimulated and well exercised throughout the day resulting in a VERY happy, tired boy when he comes home. The glowing report at the end of day made us so so proud! ♥️

Robert Davies: Brilliant Stan loved it I think he has smelt every blade of grass

Kirsty Appley-clarke: One of the nicer dog fields for walking your dog. It's large and there's a separate woodland walk to mix it up a bit, a shelter for if it rains and also places to sit down while your dog explores/ plays. Definitely going to keep using this one despite it being further away than others we've tried.

Jane Doody: I have been taking my golden retriever here weekly for the past 8 months and highly recommend them. They are so professional and take lots of details about your dog before accepting them and your dog has to be up to date with vaccinations. They are totally safe here as it’s totally secure. She is so excited to go there and is off lead the whole time she’s there, she has the run of 3 fields and a sensory area and can roll around in muddy puddles to her hearts content with her doggy friends. They look after her beautifully and she always comes home smelling Devine as they bath her and groom her to come home. I’ve left her with Dave over new year and she had the best time. You can view them on Facebook in a live feed and they send you lots of photos and videos of your fur babies. Wouldn’t go anywhere else

Amy T: Very safe enclosure. Ivy had fun

elisabeth betts: Wow had the upper field so big . Think need the small field, couldn't keep up with my dog

Derek Morris: Zeus had a fantastic time there today. It's such a lovely environment for your dog to socialise and exercise 👍😁

Craig Turvey: Good secure run out for the dog although someone had left the gate to the water feature open

John Cunningham: Great place to give your dog an off lead run! Very secure, would definitely recommend.

Jean Lewis: 10 out of 10

Jill Turner: Visited the lower field today with our 2 dogs and it was perfect. So lovely to see them roaming free without a care in the world. Thank you for this, we loved it

Kelly Willetts: Dogs absolutely love upper field, my highly anxious dog has gained so much confidence by being able to use it, now joined by my other and my sisters dog too!. Lower field could possibly use a little work as it has quite a few holes etc probably from wild animals digging or peoples dogs, but if grass is overgrown they become hidden and my dog ended up injuring herself this way.

Susie Murray: Great place. Cant go often owing to the cost but is super when we go. Have been to many if the parks now and they are all excellent and clean and safe. Definately reccomend

Puddle Duck Cottages: what do users think?

Bridgo: Cosy accommodation in the Severn Valley, great base to visit Coalport and Ironbridge. Would fully recommend.

Jo Green: Absolutely wonderful holiday cottage. Accommodates dogs but also scrupulously clean if you're not a dog owner. Great facilities at the cottage and so much to do a short walk or drive from the cottage

Dan Foster: Not long arrived home from a Mon - Fri stay at Puddle Duck cottage. The cottage was nice and spacious with everything fully equipped, the bottle of red wine 🍷 and the chocolate cake were a lovely touch and went down a treat 🤩❤️The weather sadly was a little hit and miss but this didn’t matter as the cottage was lovely and cosy with plenty nearby. Just a stones throw away from The Boat Inn it made the perfect location, it is also worth mentioning that as a family it did not take long to walk into Ironbridge on our second day.Would happily stay again the only slight niggle is the cottage was rather dark in the evenings and could use some extra lighting but apart from that everything was absolutely perfect and would more than happily stay againBig thank you Sonia for everything and wishing you lots of success with Puddle Duck Cottage xx

Lizzy Judd: A beautiful holiday cottage with stunning views in a historically fascinating part if the country. Views in February. Early morning magic!

Robert Morgan-Davies: , Coalport China Museum and Jackfield Tile Museum, all within walking distance of the cottage. We also visited the Priory at Much Wenlock. On the doorstep is the Tile Press Cafe at Maws Craft Centre who prepared a delicious takeaway Afternoon Tea for us. Louie and Brodie

Stasha Ignatowski: are great and dog friendly too. We had such a lovely visit and are already looking forward to returning in September.

Kathy Beddoes: We had a perfect stay in this cosy, comfortable and well-equipped cottage. Everything was lovely from the outset with great communication from Sonya and the welcome goodies. The cottage was warm and exceptionally clean, with fluffy towels, crisp linen, and tasteful decor. There is a lot to do on the doorstep with many pubs, walks and places of interest. We had a delicious breakfast at the Tile Press in Maws Craft centre just 5 minutes down the road. Everything has been thought of in this accommodation and I would recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere lovely to stay.

Christine Stevenson: When we arrived at Puddle Duck Cottage we found it spotlessly clean. There was a lovely welcome pack and also goodies for the dogs. Everything was comfortable, from the sofas to the beds. Plenty of towels. Lots of parking available. Sonia came to see us and helped us with a lot of information regarding dog walks, good food pubs and takeaways. We had no reason to contact her as everything we needed was in the cottage. The best thing about the cottage was the enclosed garden for the dogs. We could safely open the cottage door and let them out without worrying if they could get out onto the road. The fencing was very secure. A great area for them to run and play and lots of good sniffing smells. There is also a warm water shower for the dogs which was great for us as the weather wasn't too good and the woodland walks a bit muddy. All added to the fun. When we left our deposit was back in our bank before we got home. I would definitely recommend the cottages to anyone. Hopefully one day we can go back again. A great find.

Tracy Ockwell: we recently stayed in ducking cottage and my parents in puddleduck.the cottages are spotlessly clean and well equipped. they are also perfect for dogs with secure gardensthe cottages are close to pubs and walking distance to ironbridge itself.there are lovely walks to suit all for you to take your dogssonia is helpful and frindly and nothing is to much trouble .Bertie is a absolute star.the victorian village is a must to visit.thank you for making us so welcomewe have already booked a return stay

Philip Beard: We would give puddle duck cottages a 5 star rating and would highly recommend it to anyone.cottage was clean tidy and comfortable fenced off garden is perfect for dogs to have a run around.cottage is set in a beautiful part of the country with lots of walks and plenty to do, quite a few pubs within walking distance all serving good food.sonia is a great host even brought Bertie round to have a run around with Bella we can't wait to go back x

Diane Hipkiss: We love the cottages and their location, and the cottage was beautifully clean and very well maintained. Customer service is great, and Barney enjoyed playing with Bertie whilst we had a chat with Sonia who is very knowledgeable about the area and offers good advice about places to visit and things to do. Our damages deposit was returned promptly, and we would recommend the cottages to family and friends. We enjoy spending time in Ironbridge and the walk from the cottage is a nice scenic quiet walk. We also enjoy visiting The Black Swan for our evening meal as the food is good quality and good value. The Boat Inn is nice for a drink either in the afternoon or evening just watching the world go by. There are also plenty of good places to eat in Ironbridge. This was our 5th visit to Puddle Duck Cottages and we are already planning our next visit. There are lots of things to do in the local area or you can just enjoy the peace and quiet. The cottages are beautiful and incredibly dog friendly.

Jo Thrussell: Spotlessly clean, all the home comforts you need. Lovely location, with loads to do and see nearby, walking distance pubs with lovely food, all dog friendly. The cottage is lovely and very comfortable for the dogs. Lovely and clean and all the home comforts you need. Sonia is a great host and very accommodating. Our damages deposit was returned promptly. I would recommend to friends, and I have done to many people. My daughter made a tile last time we were there, also visiting the Victorian village twice, Ironbridge itself with the lovely shops. Ate in all the nearby pubs, Black swan, Robinhood. Our third visit, and my daughter did not want to leave. A lovely stay in a lovely area and hope to visit again.

Helen Williams: this time. I would whole-heartedly recommend Puddle Duck Cottages

Susie Hartnell: A beautiful, spacious property which is in a delightful rural location and is equipped and maintained to a very high standard. We immediately felt relaxed and at home. The whole trip from booking right through to the moment we left was absolutely perfect! We really appreciated the very generous welcome pack which included items for our dog as well as for us. We loved the large garden and the outdoor hot and cold-water spray for our dog - and so did he! The cottage had everything that we needed - and more besides! It was immaculate and we had everything that we needed to keep it that way. All of my dealings were with Sonia who was extremely helpful and pleasant and ensured that everything ran smoothly. We really appreciated all the helpful and detailed information about where to eat out and which attractions to visit. Our damages deposit was returned promptly. Without any hesitation we would recommend it to friends and family. In fact, we have already done so. We were only there for the weekend and the weather was glorious, so we did a lot of walking in the beautiful countryside which is right on the doorstep. We also really liked the town of Ironbridge and we loved the Maws Craft Centre. We enjoyed meals at The Half Moon Inn, The Butchers Kitchen and The Woodbridge Inn. We also had a lovely light lunch at the Tile Museum cafe. We have a list of attractions that we will visit next time!

Rhian Tucker: . The back garden was enclosed and was safe to leave our puppy out. We also enjoyed use of the larger front garden with the picnic bench. All rooms in the cottage were spotlessly clean and were well stocked with everything you will need for the stay. My son especially enjoyed staying in the cabin bed , with its own staircase. The customer service we had with Sonia was exceptional and we were emailed details of check-in, local walks, pubs and cafés prior to the visit. We visited Blists Hill Victorian town, Iron Bridge gorge and lots of the National Trust properties in the area. There are lots of pubs near the cottage that are dog friendly and our favourite was the Woodbridge

Bill Hofmann: Excellent cottage in beautiful area, cottage pristine clean tidy, everything there you require. Welcome package on arrival and not only the humans, reception packet for dogs, toy, biscuits etc plus first aid kit for them if anything happens exceptional. Welcome on arrival from owner and other people makes you feel really comfortable, maps ready for walks and local attractions, Victorian village just over the river walking distance. Have recommended to friends and family as this is really a brilliant cottage, local pub no more than 50 metre away and three lovely pubs, hotels in walking distance supplying good food and service. Cottage you didn't want to leave.

Stephen Phillips: Beautiful place spotless loved every minute of it

Timothy Sharples: We had a lovely stay in Duckling Cottage. The cottage was clean, well maintained and well equipped and the dogs loved their cuddly Panda toys. The cottage is located in a lovely quiet spot with a good footpath into the town one way and to the Woodbridge Inn the other. Both routes were great for letting the dogs have a good sniff and walk on route to the local attractions. We would recommend the Woodbridge for an evening out; the food and service were both excellent. Sonia and Bertie the beagle gave a very warm welcome to both our boys and us that made the holiday feel very homely and relaxed. We'll definitely be back next year.
