Walsall Manor Hospital: what do users think?
Sta Cie: I had to discharge myself, I genuinely felt in fear for my life with the "care" handed to me by this hospital. First they thought I was a different patient, second I needed to have a CT scan on my neck which the doctors said didn't need bloods taken, the nurse tried to take my bloods and put a catheter in thinking I was a different patient, god only knows what would have happened if they administered anything to me. Thirdly, I had to lay with a neck brace on for 3 hours flat on my back and when telling the nurses I felt sick they handed me a sick bucket but told me not to move. They kept trying to take my temperature and trying to move the neck brace. I had to discharge myself in the end as I said because I genuinely felt in fear for my life! I'd rather suffer with a possible fractured neck than trust this hospital to look after me. I'm going somewhere else
Danimarie Daley: Medical care itself was fine. Receptionists in urgent care need a lesson in manners or just generally speaking and acknowledging the person standing in front of them.
Eloise Sinclair: So much staff yet your waiting ages and the pharmacy is even worse. Waited nearly 1 hour for prescription . The service is not fit for purpose. They keep you longer waiting to make money off car parking charges .crooks nhs needs reforming
Susan Murray: Primary care for OAPs is ok.Aftercare is dreadful. Pain management non existent. They will virtually discharge your octogenarian parents whilst still on the operating table given half a chance. Communication with family ZERO even if you tell them your folks are ancient and can't remember anything. AVOID AVOID AVOID. Go to New Cross. Or anywhere that doesn't have the letters M A N O R in it's name.
John Osborne: Very poor service for a number of years was stuck in a&e for 24 hrs twice then sent home in severe pain i'm a 70 yr old disabled amputee of the leg and have one kidney not functioning since a year agoi have recently been to a crt scan and pre assessment appointment but cannotobtain a procedure date 10 weeks later so i am putting a formal complaint in and seeking compensation for the suffering ive been through since 2017 there's no caring there for others
max webb: Here we go again had another telephone appointment cancelleddue to drs strike so they say. Avoid going here for any treatment
Marilyn Crewe: Disgusting. 86 year old mother in law taken by ambulance after fall at home. Discharged same day to us despite immobility and unable to move. Sent home with a commode for us to lift her onto even though we are elderly with health conditions too. Pain relief delivered next day by taxi!! Readmitted 3 days later by 111 gp but thank goodness ambulance took her to newcross hospital this time and admitted by them where she remains. She has a hairline fracture of her pelvis.
Saba Faizan Makeup: I wish i could give a 0 0 0 stars. The worst hospital ever. They take advantage of people who don't know much. They manipulate the 18 years old child and get him signed for surgery where they say after oh it was an urine infection. Bastardi. He was alone because they didn't let anyone else be there with him. Now they asking to pay money to get the reports. He still in pain and they just giving him painkillers. We dnt trust them what if they did wrong during surgery and he gets more problem after coming home. This hospital is just making money. Surgeries, c section just makes money. Rubbish and greedy hospital.
Jacqueline Venables: Would need pages to explain just how very scary the manor hospital is. Why oh why isn't their an investigation. Most of the staff are wonderfull unfortunately thay have to carry the bad.
Jess K: A&E department was terrible. I took my daughter to hospital because she had a rash that looked like meningitis. We waited nearly 12 hours in A&E. The seats and floor were dirty and some of the chairs were broken. In the whole time we were there we only saw a nurse, who complained about how tired and overworked she was. No doctor in sight. I decided to leave and take my daughter to another hospital. They saw us within 3 hours.
Martyna Z: NHS is so terrible. I’ve been waiting for 7 hours just to be told my blood test results (which I did on my first hour of waiting) are not there. I was so mad people at the waiting area were fuming as well waiting even more then I did some 9 hours. I don’t know where our taxes go
Ash OCP001: Went for a scan which was a pain free examination. However a certain secretary of the main cardiologist (Dr Jaumdally) is next to useless and never answers her phone. I had to use the PALS service to get some answers. Apart from this the hospital has paid parking and is clean enough. It has, as one would expect, handgel located in strategic locations as well as masks at the entrance. The security guard on the 21st March had no idea where the routes are so he is not customer services orientated. Overall its adequate but could be better.
Steven Deeming: Took my daughter to the urgent treatment centre today with a suspected broken ankle. Had a faultless experience and was out within hour with just a sprain thankfully. The nurses and doctors are terrific and looked after her with genuine care and professionalism.
Naeem Ahmed: New urgent care centre, really nice clean place staff really helpful.
Anne Moylan: I’ve just spent a week on ward 12 and then ward 11. Fantastic care from all members of staff but would like to give a special shout out to HCSW Charlotte on ward 12 and HCSW Leigh on ward 11 who both made my hospital stay much more comfortable.
chloe kate: Unfortunately I had a terrible experience waited 8 months to be seen and sent away left in I’m pain. Will be taking this further. The hosptial also needs more to be cleaning done it’s dirty?!Staff just hanging around in the department doing nothing saying how bored there were very loudly and complaining about their managers. Terrible. We are in a NHS crisis no wonder!! 0/5 if I could
K Zaman: MANOR SPENT ALOT ON A NEW BUILDING FOR URGENT CARE & A&E BUT STILL THE SAME SLOW SERVICE. WHAT A COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY
K L Ewart: Very efficient friendly staff for a ent appointment
Maria R: The prompt care and attention given to my partner throughout his cancer diagnosis was excellent. The medical and nursing teams from the initial walk-in to the urgent care centre, Surgeons, theatre staff, wards 22 and 11 Consultant and all Doctors, Colorectal Nurses. We thank you with all our hearts.Your care and knowledge saved a life. So eternally grateful ♥️
Richard Letts: This is an older average regional hospital. The information available to patients is very limited, they do not appear to have a timetable for developing a diagnostic plan, or a treatment plan. Communication form nursing staff is all I am not allowed to say. Communication from the doctors is full of jargon. The mens' toilets are old, and stink of stale urine instead of bleach and cleaner.
Leanne: What an absolute joke! Would have thought a walk in centre wouldn't take as long as A & E but sat here now and have been for 3.5hrs!!! Was told 2.5hrs wait and half an hr ago told I would go in after the next 2 people and asked now being as its been 3.5hrs and all the receptionist can say is "you'll be going in very soon". I might aswell have gone into A & E!!!

Broadway Medical Centre: what do users think?
Alexandra Negoita: Disgraceful service
Mr Henwood: . The doctors and staff here are superb. After recently visiting my GP surgery with breathlessness Dr Rani wasted no time in sending me to A&E for an ECG (at the time I thought this was an over reaction
Maureen Perry: Brilliant receptionist was helpful and polite thank you for your help Broadway medical. Centre
Sally Curran: Just register with this surgery reception polite helpful and doctor was very kind and pleasant regards sally
RickyLee Peynado1984: If you want to see a doctor or get better. Seriously advise you don’t use these. They never have appointments and can never be bothered. They lose your prescription even when a shrink sends them. They say they haven’t had them. Worse doctor's in the area. Shouldn’t even be open
Dara Singh: Changed surgery a few years ago to come here.i must say I made a great decision. The doctors are fantastic.very patient and caring.listen to you do not rush you.appointments available the same day or the nxt working day.keep the good work up.
ranbir singh: Reception Staff very rude attitude I trying to book appointment from 7:56 am they put on hold after 15 or 20 min all appointments gone.
Victoria Millard: They are also ok with me to be honest but the physio is absolutely useless i was shocked that my husband was left with two bulging disks he went to the physio here , who said he would call him the next day before one and get the GP to prescribe painkillers. Never called for two days so we rang , he hadn't even passed it on to the GP. So they said he would ring us back again that day. No callednded up going to get emergency pain relief elsewhere after a week of nobody contacting or getting back to him.
Lauren Huskisson: Rang up told them I had back pain needs to see someone asap. He said no one available today so he would get someone to call me tomorrow I said okay he said after noon time about 2 I said I can’t I’m working he said so sarcastically “so what do you want me to do and then laughed! I hung up straight away! Wouldn’t waste my timeOn such cretins. AVOID
Shuzi Yasmin: Doctors are a disgrace. Booked a phone call appointment on Friday. Doctor didn’t bother calling. When I called reception she couldn’t do anything about it and just apologised. Waited till Monday to book an appointment which was phone call again. Waited until 4.30pm. Called the surgery receptionist said I’m last and next in line. Waited until 6. Gave them a call and she was surprised as the doctor did not bother to call and had left the surgery now.
TheTruth: I have been visiting this practice since i was a child, early 80s, and last week i the unfortunate experience where i can only describe as disgusting and appalling. It took 7 weeks for me to get an appointment for only to be made to see a nurse and not a doctor. I am a diabetic with high blood pressure and since last 3 months have been experiencing extreme nuropathy pain in both legs, added with continuously reoccuring gout which has lead me to quit my job and stop driving. I visited 1 nurse who took my BP twice and was told she couldn't get a reading so i had to wait to see another nurse. Her name was Velda. I saw her and explained the 1st nurse couldn't get a reading, and she said she did take it, the results are on my screen. I explained my gout condition and she prescribed me 5 prescriptions for my diabetes and told me rudely that being a diabetic does not stop me from working. To which i explained i suffer from your a lot and i cannot walk, even with crutches its very agonising, to which she replied well once you take your meds you can get back into work. I then asked that i had a second problem which would be the first time that would be addressing the nuropathy pain to the practice. Velda replied abruptly to make it quick as i only get 10mins. So i have had to wait 7 weeks for a rushed appointment . she was not professional at all, ride and abrupt. Not to mention the way she was dressed. Raggedy T-shirt, tattoos, a chunky gold ring on every finger, 4 or 5 necklaces. Honestly it was a sight to see. Nothing like a professional nurse at all. Then she provided me a sick note for only 2 weeks for my UC claim, and the reason she put was GENERAL ACHES AND PAINS. She didn't mention my high BP reading of 180/120, no mention if the agonising gout and nuropathy pain and that i was unable to walk properly. I hope to never see her again and will be making a more formal complaint against her because of her behavior.
Farrana Shah: Poor service no meeting the needs of patients, attitude and lack of empathy from receptionists need retraining or need to change profession because they’re in the wrong one. Lie to you and after waiting ages on the phone for an appointment for my 6 month old and reached the surgery to find out I’d been given an appointment with a nurse instead of doctor no mention of this over the phone, will be finding a new surgery as they’re a waste of time
Aktar Hosain: Very poor website information.
Charlotte Nicholls: Had an appointment booked for a review was cancelled by the surgery an hour before I was due in got a call for rescheduling to be offered an appointment which was difficult for me to attend due to it being in the middle of the working day and me not working local. Was told I had to attend and the appointment was needed before the end of April. There was nothing else available. As a result I booked the day off work for half an hour before my appointment to get a phone call asking if I could have a telephone consultation instead (if this was an option previous I would have stayed at work) I asked to come into the surgery to be told can I come in earlier which I agreed. I booked in 25 mins prior to my appointment as requested by reception to be sat waiting over 30 mins isn't the first time I've been messed about by this surgery.
Midnight Uke Man: I've been to this surgery since I was a small child, and I have to say that it has not changed. The receptionists, the unsung powerhouses of the surgery are lovely to speak with and make creating an appointment a breeze. They are always happy to go above and beyond in my experience.Although I've not had any experience with the nursing team, from what I've seen, they're kind, selfless and compassionate towards patients and staff alike. However, the doctors at the surgery are extreme compassionate and want nothing but to help you and ease any tension you have about the condition(s) you're seeing them for.If I could give more than 5 stars, believe me I would! I recommend this surgery whole heartedly. And there's also a pharmacy to pick up prescriptions right over the road, so there's a sense of convenience in that too!Surgery is accessible by wheelchair across the board, from entering the building through to seeing the person you've made your appointment with, this is a wheelchair-friendly establishment.
Dean C.: The best medical centre in the area. No prolem getting appointments and all the staff especially Melanie on reception are lovely. the nurse and the doctors have all got time and do not rush you. I have had to move doctors because I've moved house. I'm absolutely gutted.
Nozmul Jaygirdar: This surgery is a joke I called yesterday I was on the phone for one hour untill someone answered when they did they told me all the appointments are gone I’ve been on the phone from 8am they refuse to see my 1 year old boy absolutely disgusting behaviour from the front desk I wouldn’t recommend anyone to join this surgery
LORD VENTURES SUPPLIES: Have called to get an appointment for my 4 week old baby. Next available appointment was in a months time. Absolutely ridiculous. Doctor and nurses are good when you do get an appointment but a months wait for a little baby is terrible.
Shaama 76: Poor service, I was asked to attend for fasting blood test with the nurse. But had my BP checked, it was high but she made no mention of it. When pressed she agreed that it was high and to double the dose. She then gave me a flu jab and said we were done. When I mentioned blood test, she said that was a mistake and its not due till next year. I was furious, I had fasted and had high BP but no compassion was shown.
Revival Sanctuary: What an absolute joke this surgery is!I made an appointment to get bloods done through the receptionist as I'm over 40 and that's what I was told happens. I've been having breathing issues for over a year (non-covid related) and have tried on numerous times to get appointments, through their e-service. The doctor calls you randomly and if you miss the call, you call back to make an appointment, which you can't get!!!Today I had an appointment this morning which was changed from yesterday by them. Long story short, nurse says I need to see Doctor before any bloods are done even although she was ready to take them this morning before I asked for an iron test. If bloods are not allowed, why did the receptionist make an appointment for bloods to be done!!! I'm absolutely disgusted and will be looking for another surgery! ps. the waiting room had nobody else there, so something is seriously failing here masked under the umbrella of Covid!
devine: absolutely ridiculous no appointments at all !!!!! they say ring at 8 when you start ringing no one answers and if by 8.30 they answer you are told “ all appointments are gone “ covid has become a excuse now i’m sorry of hospital are caring on has normal then you should aswell you are playing with peoples life’s it’s the surgery’s job to refer us to hospital but when we don’t even get an appointment then that’s a no no please sort your priority's out which should be with your patients and there needs at the moment there is lack of care !!!!

Corbett Outpatient Centre: what do users think?
Julian Woodcock: Excellent.
Stephen Parkes: Easy to arrange an appointment. Less crowded than when it was walk in. Friendly, professional phlebotomy actually managed to get blood, I'm a vampire's nightmare. Just took plaster off an hour later, not a mark 👍
Paul Harrison: Very good place
Lulu Pivarnik: Reebok, cancel my appointment totally impossible. I was on the phone for past 1 hr and line constantly busy. I have to drive there find car park space "impossible" to change appointment.
Karen A Ashbery: So professional
Tom Polski: Parking is an absolute joke. Multiple cars in a queue fighting for a spot and a security man taking photos of A cars parked A bit outside the lines. Is that nie you make money it something?
GARETH PARKES: car park is a joke !!!! i went around 25 times to look for a space i don't recommend this hospital
Dave Hull: Wonderful staff..v good apointment service
David Chance: It's a hospital so you get what you get
Robert Peters: I was called on my mobile for a biopsy and the wait was just 3 days, the staff were kindness personified, my surgeon modified her original plan to accommodate my request and although I was advised I would probably need pain relief I have had no discomfort whatsoever from the affected digit. A hospital department “Carlsberg”might have envisioned….
richard dhillon: Pre booked blood test, in and out in less than 10 mins, so no parking charge! Perfect!
Thomas Ellis: Visited on numerous occasions for blood tests, always book online to avoid a long wait or being turned away.Staff are always helpful, on the odd occasion have been delayed but never more than 10 minutes after original appointment time. Down to shear numbers of appointments.
john d: blood test, i booked a blood test here waited for a month, yet when i was there other people walked in after me with no apointment and were seen before me and other people, disrcaceful service , so why book an appointment in the first place
Gilly Hancock: Swiftly in and out for my blood test today ... superbly done by a young student Phlebotomist - she was excellent. On-line appointment system works well as there were no queues and the footfall of patients thus kept to a minimum. Lovely 'meet and greet' staff too .. thank you 😊
Rob: Visit to the Dermitology department for the second time for a biopsy procedure. Staff pleasant, professional.
Sim: Visited X ray department. Quick, efficient and friendly staff. Also I was lucky enough to get free parking as the barriers were up.
Ian Dixson: In...no wait to be seen...x rayed...and out. Excellent. Well done to all the team there...and thanks.
kieron odriscoll: Parking is awful. Not a long wait. Was a pointless visit for me. Orthopedic appointment just to be told I need to wait for an mri appointment.
Andy Gordon: Such a lovely hospital. The staff in Rehab are so nice. Friendly and so good at their jobs. A credit to our brilliant NHS.
Angela Johnson: I was in and out within 40 minutes ,great for once.
jayne Webster: I don't no why they have an appointment system for the blood tests. My appointment was at 13.00hrs got there at 13.00 sat around for 20mins and watched people with a 13.10 appointment go b4 me bcus they arrived b4 me. It would seem you only need an appointment then wait your turn even if you arrive 20 minutes b4 you time slot & some didn't even book an appointment. I won't be time consensus nx time.
