Tesco Extra: what do users think?
Jay Bennett Restoration: 6.45 and the toilets are closed. Absolute disgrace
Adam Hemingway: Open till 12 but close the street access doors at 11. Shouldn't have to walk all the way round the store to access through the car park.Update- travelator has been broken for around 6 weeks, still no sign its getting fixed, only alternative is the lift or the stairs that they never seem to open. Seems like they don't care about their customers. Won't be shoppin here again.
Delcia: Good
varun sharma: amazing halloumi burger with avacado dip
Terry Albion: Ok shop, but upwards escalator always seems to be broke, so if cant use stairs expect long queues at the lifts, Saturday escalators and self service tills broke, queues were horrendous ☹
The invisible Man: What started as a convenient trader has steadily declined in stock availability and quality. The town would be better off without it at this point.
Quincy3358: Trolley self serve closed, scan as you shop closed. Long waiting
Apo Mohammed: no comment, everyone can see how expensive Tesco now, compared to other supermarket ?
john weeks: Lots of vegan options. I also got a full breakfast for 7£ and a haircut for 20£
Roger Mead: Went to the Tesco garage 3 am as online said that they was 24 hours and when I got there they was closed I walked 35 minutes the main store is great but the garage is usless
amanda wright: I pre ordered some food to click and collect on 23rd from Tesco Extra, Walsall. I received a phone call prior to my collection to say that part of my order could not be found. Very disappointed, but early evening I received another call from a lovely man called Phil. He was concerned that I had not received my goods so he went above and beyond delivering to my door at 8.45pm. Superb customer service, thank you it is really appreciated.
Kayleigh Malin: I brought a lettuce bag the other day I been eating it and I ate it again and there a bloody catapilla in my lettuce and I didn’t even know till today I been having bad bellyache all day never shopping there for salad again terrible
William Sankey: Very very busy and only 1 person serving drinks and food and there toilets are a disgraceful
aiga razudalkina: Till service is terrible!to many self scan tills!and if you park upstair car park be ready they can close shutter even cars is there!
Janet Sharman: I have just made the mistake of shopping in this store before 10am. When it came to paying there wasn't a single till open and a massive queue for self service, when I commented to a member of staff they said no staff but at least 10 were doing online shopping. That seems to be more important to them!
TONY ADAMS: V good
Ben Dawson: Small shop petrol station
Paul Davenport: Not selling dvd ,or CDs anymore
Tony Shinh: They’ve got no donuts😐
icy haze: Closes at 12am but locks every door at 10pm without any warning to public apart from the car entrance which is an extreme health and safety hazard!!!!!

Sainsbury's: what do users think?
Julie Watkins: Lovely staff always help you if needed.
Gunārs Leja: Nice shop. In fact there is different goods and products of course if you now what you want.
Louise Jones: Don’t go here in the evening. In their “wisdom,” they’ve decided to close the tills in the evening and just have self service open. I didn’t realise this and had to put a full trolley through the self service tills even though there were several members of staff standing round chatting to each other. Trying to modify customer behaviour this way is not acceptable and I’ll be voting with my feet and shopping at another supermarket where they have actual human beings on the checkouts.
Prinny 87: The plant section 😍 can never walk past.
Sara Smith: Great produce and things you didn't know you needed.
Anthony Roberts: Best thing about sainsburys is jam 🍩 nuts price is reasonable
Paul Spooner: Great store. Never too busy
Aaron Woolley: Good cooked chicken
Catherine Bevington: Easy parking, clean store well presented items clear signage. Helpful staff
Stuart Cattell: Friendly staff and good selection of items including an in-store Argos. Update Apr 2023, the Lloyds Pharmacy is closing down.
Taz K: Some very good deals!
Andy Raven: Another supermarket that is no different to any other.
Tracey Gnosill: Great local store
Jon Wells: Everything you need in one shop
Shaun Of The Dead: Super friendly and assistive staff.. also well stocked and incredibly clean.
Jodie Ankrett: Good 👍
Craig hill: Dunno what's happend to this pace
Brittany Beth: Totally honest opinions / comments - This is my families local superstore so we've always shopped here. I do like it here and I do still shop here however, over my lifetime, I've seen numerous things that have changed. Staff are no longer keeping the shelves stacked (they let the shelves empty without restocking until completely empty).A large amount of the Vegetarian / Vegan produce are no longer being sold here which is incredibly disappointing and frustrating as there's no variety unless you really, really like eating V nuggets, V sausages, falafels, V burgers or some not very nice V bacon at each meal. The quality of items have dropped although prices have significantly increased. It is a good store if you live local but everything here is also ridiculously over-priced!(Compared to many other retailers such as Home Bargains or Aldi, Sainsburys are very penny pinching - almost stealing from customers. Take a look in The Food Warehouse over the road from Sainsburys, you'll most likely find the exact same items for half the cost! If you're in or around Walsall, I suggest taking a trip to Tesco or Aldi as they're so much cheaper (a fraction of the price) and they have a larger variety. This Sainsburys store does have plenty of parking spaces as well as parking specifically for "parent and baby" which is located right around the back - side of the building. It is rare to find parent and baby / toddler parking these days for some reason, as it is basically all for disabled people. It's fantastic for all parents with small children, I imagine every parent knows of the struggle with pram's inbetween the closely parked cars... whilst also trying to watch their other children at the same time.. It can be hard, and very stressful! They do have their own FREE to use cash machines located outside the store for anybody to use as and when for convenience. My feelings on Sainsburys have started to change over time, I think my reasons for liking and still shopping in this store aren't for the best of reasons which are as follows - 1) I was first bought shopping to this store when I was only a few days old. It's the first store I ever went to and I've been coming ever since.2) It's the most convenient store for me. It's still the most local superstore to me and it's the easiest one to get to and fro with my daughter.3) The Café BUT they no longer offer hot meals like they used to, they only do pre-made sandwiches and slices of cake.4) The cash machineUPDATE: They DON’T have their own café anymore for some reason, it did so well but it's now been turned into a Starbucks - which is disgusting. You won't see me here often, I don't like Starbucks, I'll only eat a cheese & tomato panini from there.
Jonathan Hughes: Good parking and helpful staff. Argos in store. Shame that self service is now the priority at checkouts .. too few staff.Car park is becoming criminally poor for a Big Four supermarket .. it is shabby, covered in litter, pot-holed, poorly marked, poorly lit and shabby. Sainsbury's need to look out people do notice and will shop elsewhere. Attitude in this sucks with staff in store just shrugging and saying it's not to do with them! Makes you wonder!
Jenemma Jackson: Great store always well stockedFriendly staff

Asda St. Matthews Superstore: what do users think?
lee Hussain: The staff at self checkout are rude and do not know how to deal with Costomer especially the 2 Asian lady’s . As that can put them in danger .I’m just watching out for them so calm down and don’t judge the Customers. Also this incident happend yesterday at around afternoon 2pm . And another a year ago They just mistake on what Customers said straight away they assume that they Wer picking on them .If I don’t like it then What makes u think others will. Stop it or u will knock in the wrong door.
Harish Gupta: Would like to rate 0 if I could. I understand that prices are going up but when you put a price, stick to it..What the whole world has come to. Put a price at 65p per kg and then came up as £1/kg on till. When questioned, the gentleman who served tried to argue that item is priced as individual, I mean really.....65p for 1 onion. After explaining for 20th time, he understood and then he took the label off and said Oh sorry you have to buy it for £1/kg. I mean no honesty left at all..Pack of liars who can't stick to what is being advertised by their own shop. Happens too often at this place..Never would go to this store again..and those who visit please watch closely what you pick and what you pay.Very poor customer service and ripping off customers..
Linda Hands: As few stuff in that you wouldn't find in tesco, great soft play to their
vipul gandhi: Affordable price with variety under one roof. Lots of options for just essentials and price lock in inflation crisis situation
Rita Booker: Delivery hasn’t turned up today was supposed to be delivered between 10am -11am it’s now 12:17 no messages about the order . Information and a refund would be good
Rajinder Singh: Nice place for your everyday shop
Tony Singh: Nice place to shop for your everyday groceries
Thahar Sardar: Appalling and disgusting security staff with high aggression, low intelligence. To call them animals would be an insult to animals.Poorly trained and feral to say the least. No I did no steal anything. Reported the conduct to the duty manager Sandra, she was brain dead and silly. ie did not understand basic diplomacy and consumer service. Negative star
Bingo 2020: Hi I have shop in Walsall asda the staff are so friendly they are all way help me when I shop in they what a brilliant shop 😁😃😀😊😅
Reza Ahmed: Moderate price but some items are extremely priced
James Woodward: Outstanding Supermarket. Wonderful staff that go over and beyond their duties to keep there customers happy. 😊👍
RDSPROD RDSPROD: First time i have done ahopping online. On 10 itames just two was corrent. All the rest or chipper versior or completly diffetent. Was charger normaly for aome cheapers product. Also after tgat on my own i have to check and swap this products from shelf. Service so bad
freeda 20: All in One 👍🏼
the 666: It's Asda
Charlie Forbes: Very good and friendly staff.
Adam Urwin: Today we were attending a children's birthday party at Frankie And Lolas at Asda St. Matthews. We arrived just before 10:30 for a party starting at 10:30 (Frankie And Lolas opening time). A lady was waiting with her infant child asleep in their pushchair at the first floor entrance (Frankie And Lolas entrance), the doors still had the security shutters down. The lady spoke to a member of staff outside asking when the doors would open, The member of staff stated "sometimes now, sometimes 11 but the doors downstairs are open". The lady then rang Asda and they stated that they would open the door for her at 10:30. A different member of staff in a high vis jacket walked past the internal side of the shutter and stated he wouldn't open it until 11, another phone call took place where she was again assured that the doors would be opened for her and we saw the same gentleman walk past again and not open the doors. We spoke to another member of staff outside who just arrived for her shift, she told us the door won't open until 11, the lady mentioned the pushchair situation, She asked "Is the lift not working....again?", which it wasn't, the member of staff said the lady and infant in pushchair would have to walk down the car ramp (worrying) or carry the pushchair down the twisting flight of stairs (worrying). In the end we offered to help her carry her pushchair down the stairs but it should not have been necessary. The thing that makes the whole situation more irritating is that:Asda (ground floor) opens at 11:00 on Sundays but the doors open at 10:30.Frankie And Lolas (first floor) opens at 10:30 on Sundays but the doors open at 11:00.If the lift had been working and there was a safe way for her to get down to the ground floor then it wouldn't have been an issue. If she had been a disabled customer rather than a woman with a pushchair no one would have suggested her going down the car ramp.I am leaving this review on Asda's page as it felt store related rather than Frankie And Lolas issue. We had a really enjoyable time at Frankie And Lolas but the customer service for the woman with the pushchair really didn't put her welfare or the welfare of her child first.
mark cufflin: Have offers on so got some while they was on
Diol Moussa: Mainly we go to look at the clothing section witch is a very good size and they have a good selection of kids clothing and school uniforms, also free parking helps but some time can be a bit of a nightmare to find a parking space.
Amy Williams: Busy, fully stocked shelves, staff were helpful when I asked for a certain thing.
Hasibul Alam Ratul: Great Price, Friendly staff
Louise Harper: My review is based on the pharmacy only. I made a call today to query a prescription and was passed to 3 different people without being told or advised then shouted at by who I believe was the resident pharmacist. Very unprofessional. In the last few years this pharmacy has declined rapidly.
