Harry Owen: I cannot think of any other coffee shop where I feel more at home than Coffee #1 at Swindon. I have consistently found all the staff to be friendly, welcoming and helpful, even at their busiest times. In particular, the blonde lady behind the counter is a person for whom the customer always comes first. She is, without fail, always cheery, courteous, kind, caring and helpful; furthermore, she is very knowledgeable about the variety of coffees and food available. She is an exemplar of what excellence in customer service should be. It is because of the friendly and competent staff, the great quality of the coffee, coupled with the character and atmosphere of the place that it makes the whole experience of visiting Coffee #1 Swindon an absolute delight; and that is why I am a regular customer.
Elliot Gash: Come to coffee#1 regularly, and it's always exemplary service. The staff are always friendly and talkative, and the coffee is made with the freshest beans - would recommend over Costa ir Starbucks any day

Pearl Abenojar: Excellent coffee and chill ambiance. Starting to become my go-to with coffee beans.
Cho Yi Young: Good vibes and taste
Harper di Angelo Green: Absolutely loved it, will be coming back to try more of their drinks with my friends and family. I usually only drink hot chocolate and they had an amazing selection of dark chocolate flavours that hit the spot. I got 75% and it's a little bitter but I love it. Next time I might try 80% or 100%.Vegetarian options: Did ask if they did alternative milk but they probably do.

oliver burns: Lovely artisan coffee shop, they sell pippins doughnuts! I am a wheelchair user and was able to access the cafe. Door was slightly tight to get through in the wheelchair, staff were friendly and helpful.Wheelchair accessibility: Front door was slightly tight, however did get through it. Staff helpful and friendly. Drinks brought over to your table, so don't have to carry them. Shop layout is rather small, so had to be extra aware to make sure I didn't knock anything over
Benjamin White: Facing the picturesque cottages of the historic railway village. Adrian Moore: Best coffee in Swindon, owner/barista who really knows his coffee and how to extract it.Food is superb as well...In short, if you like your coffee and food... Darkroom Espresso is worth travelling to.
Chris Atkins: The kind of coffee shop you'd expect to find in a bustling and vibing city. You can tell the coffee has been curated with passion and insight. The food could do with more of shake up or seasonal specials. But its still lovely and I would happily eat here. The cakes that are bought in are expertly selectedThis is the shop for any coffee purist in Wiltshire not just Swindon.

Opzioni senza glutine e vegane.
Steven Matthews: Friendly staff and atmosphere, good coffee and even had a hot chocolate once which had a variety of options. Always easy for a chat and advise on what to try
Peter Douglass: By far the best independent coffee shop in Swindon by a country mile! For anyone that knows anything about coffee, it is not something to be rushed or made without care. The guys at darkroom are very fastidious about coffee extraction, puck prep, and milk steaming to make a truly excellent coffee! There is a really good range of guest beans, with a very nice house blend. I have visited darkroom more times than I can count, and not once have I regretted it! For those living or visiting Swindon, please come and experience what great coffee tastes like!

Claire M: This super friendly locally run cafe is so much nicer than those predictable big chains. We looked at the near perfect reviews - and of course, read the single bad review first. It's only criticism seemed to be that they let in dogs. Since we were out of towners killing time before dropping our dog off for surgery, that was actually the selling point. What we got was an absolutely delicious breakfast with generous portions and friendly chat from the owners. A totally enjoyable experience all round. Would recommend.
Martin: We are so fortunate to have this place just a few minutes walking from home. Really good cofee, great ambience, friendly owner. Love this place and will continue to visit.
bum steak: Good service , nice ambiance,
Mel Hearn: Very tasty sandwich and coffee for lunch. Quick service, nice selection of food.

Scott Cowley: Always a warm and friendly welcome from Tracey and Marcus. The coffee ain't too shabby either 😀 and its so important to support independent businesses.First choice.First class.
Marlene Joan Lewis: Excellent friendly service, food and drinks.A place to return to, time and time again.
Michael Midwinter: Only had coffee and sandwiches but would highly recommend
Michael Reynolds: Best coffee and sandwiches in the town. Marcus and Tracey are lovely and always very welcoming.
RENATA PAZ: Wanderfoul cofee and friendly staff ✨
P Moo: Love this superb little cafe. Great mostly cat-themed artwork around the walls, great food and drink, no actual cats (which is a very good thing for me). Marcus, the owner, is really friendly and helpful. Great community work, suspended coffee scheme. We had a lovely breakfast here this morning. So glad they are open again - Ireally missed this place during lockdown.
Wijdan Yousuf: We try to visit as often as we can. High street chains and other famous indepedents are no match for their paninis or porridges. Always a joy to come!
Tom Silberberg: Top notch coffee, lovely cakes and wonderful staff.Always a pleasure to visit!
Michael Kane: Excellant family run cafe

Steve West: Never been before so whilst getting my car tyres changed myself and my wife decided to walk over for a hot drink. Welcomed to a nice sized shop with very nice decor. Had a lovely cup of tea and my wife had a hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows. We decided to order some breakfast scrambled eggs on toast and for me a small fry up. Beautifully cooked fresh no grease on the plate and really good quality food. I loved every mouthful and we will be back.
Carrie Holness: Lovely cafe attached to garden centre, only had cappuccino and cake but coffee was of great quality and taste and cakes are the huge homemade ones and it was divine. Only place I know that sells coffee cake without nuts on. Nice. Staff were friendly and efficient, was greeted upon entry and service was with lots of cheery smiles and chatter. Lots of seating and nice clean calm atmosphere, and £11.20 for 2 large cappuccino and 2 cake slices I thought was very reasonable.

Deinesly Andrade: I went with my husband for breakfast, he ordered a british breakfast and I ordered a jack potato, I don't know if I had high expectations for the potato, it was ok but I thought it would be better, the flavor was chicken, I'll have to try other flavors, but in general the food was ok, the environment is very pleasant and spacious, I thought the new place where it opened is very good, it gave more visibility, we will return.what we believe to be the owner who was there on the day, he told us: "there are many options on the menu."In fact really difficult to choose, soon we will return.
Soroosh Jabari: Nice breakfastHighly recommend
Niki Bartoszewska: I decided to try the new cafe during a recent trip to town and will definitely not return. The drink I ordered was fine and it is in a convenient location but unfortunately I witnessed a member of staff being belittled by what appeared to be a manager or supervisor. I was waiting to order and pay at the till when the young man serving apologised to the customer in front of me for the system being slow. What appeared to be the manager then looked at him saying that Angus (the server) was slow too. I was shocked that a senior member of staff would humiliate an employee like that. Thankfully the customer in front did challenge the manager and he eventually apologised to the server but this felt like it was more to appease the customer than anything else. If management are prepared to treat staff like this in front of customers I dread to think how they are treated behind the scenes!
Mary-Anne Danek: It's nice to see Boswell's in its new central location in Swindon. The atmosphere is much better than it was in Brunel, really buzzing. Upstairs and outside seating too.The same food and many of the same staff.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Julia McGovern: A big thank you to Lynne today 😊 I spilt my mocha and Lynne was so kind and helpful. Unfortunately the man who cleaned it up not so much ☹ Love the new place
Wayne Smith: First visit today, ordered an all day breakfast and a pot of tea. The restaurant was spotless, the food was great and the staff really helpful. A few criticisms: the all day breakfast comes with egg, bacon, sausage, beans and chips - I’m not sure who has chips with an all day breakfast but I would have preferred mushrooms, tomatoes and toast or fried bread. I thought it was quite pricey too - £8.95 for the breakfast and £2.35 for a pot of tea (the tea pot was awkward to pour without spilling tea all over the table). Overall positives: clean restaurant, friendly staff, and good food. Overall negatives: all day breakfast could have been much better, teapots are annoyingly difficult to pour without spilling tea everywhere, quite expensive for what you get - you can buy a much better all day breakfast at most supermarket cafes, which are much better value for money. 6.5/10
Chris Hurly: Popped in for a breakfast and a coffee and I was greeted by a friendly host who directed me to the dine-in queue. I placed my order for a vegetarian breakfast and an oat latte. The coffee was delivered in no time at all, perhaps 4 minutes, and the breakfast followed within the following 5 minutesExtraordinary food quality, and chefs that know how to cook properly. The vegetarian sausage was not that mock-meat so many places have adopted, rather a combination of veggies in a sort of potato, with a lovely savoury flavour that would rival any sausage, real meat or vegetarian. The hash browns were PERFECT, the egg cooked just right and the baked beans (which I don't normally enjoy on a breakfast) actually had flavour and were not watery in any way.The toast was fresh and warm and crispy, unlike other breakfast chains where toast is treated almost as garnishing. For a new establishment on the Swindon parade, Boswell's is always full - and for good reason. I will be back.Attentive, well mannered staff donning clean uniforms.I highly recommend.Vegetarian options: Vegan and vegetarian breakfast optionsKid-friendliness: Children are allowedWheelchair accessibility: No stairs to consider if seating is available on ground floor.Dietary restrictions: Accomodating menu
Shawn Spencer-Smith: I saw the plans for this new cafe in Boswells in Bristol where I am a regular and made the journey to try it out. Really well laid out with great access and outdoor seating. Really helpful staff and the food was cooked and served with a smile. As per Boswells there is a wide choice of food with veggie options. Highly recommendedFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Jacqui Griffiths: Lovely environment and staff, food great.
Jose C. Cortes: Very nice Breakfast, staff are very friendly and attentive. Very nice environment.
Andrea See: We've not visited Boswell's in years, so this is the first time since they moved locations. The usual crowd-pleasing menu, and a newer, refreshed venue. My children pointed out the relaxing atmosphere and nice choice of paint colour.Vegetarian options: I had the roast vegetable, hummus, and falafel flatbread.Kid-friendliness: My children no longer regularly eat children's portions, but enjoyed their paninis.
Chris Burg: I recently visited Boswell cafe and I must say, I was highly impressed with the experience. The food was absolutely amazing, from the mouth-watering appetizers to the delicious main course and the scrumptious desserts. The cafe had a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made it an ideal place to spend some leisure time. What really stood out for me was the ambience of the place. The decor was modern and trendy, yet cozy and comfortable. I could easily see myself enjoying a cup of coffee and good conversation with friends or colleagues at any time of the day.Overall, I highly recommend Boswell cafe to anyone looking for a great place to eat and relax. The combination of delicious food, amazing atmosphere, and excellent service makes for an unforgettable experience.
Shannyn Weir: I’d love to give this a five star as everything was amazing; the food, the staff, the atmosphere etc. However toward the end of my visit I had an encounter with who I would assume to be a manager where I was sat outside and questioned if I was actually going to purchase anything(I was sat with my own drink). I had already ordered and eaten around ten minutes previously and had moved outside to wait for my mum. I understand that the place isn’t for social seating but the tone and presence the man gave off was rather unpleasant and unnecessary when asking me. I had only moved outside for ten minutes due to being heavily pregnant and was just a tad warm. I would just like to make this aware as I feel the situation could’ve been addressed better and I felt like I wasn’t welcome to sit anymore because I had finished my order
Nicola Padgett: Lovely food and coffee friendly staff
Kirsty Prince: Coffee and cake was lovely - however, the lunches were really not great. I had the chicken, tomato and pesto panini which was so so dry, and my husband had the all-day breakfast which was more of a truck stop café version. Wouldn't have been so disappointed if it hadn't of cost us over £40!
Sandra Ibauk: Fantastic breakfast location inside Arcade in Brunel shopping centre. Hidden gemVegetarian options: Excellent options and vegetarian breakfast available.Parking: Brunel shopping centre car park. Down left to lower arcade level.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor. Lift available. Plenty space disabled toilets in Brunel Shopping Centre.

Andy Barnes: I like Boswells but it's definitely not my favourite cafe in Swindon. The food is okay, the staff are good but I just really don't like the atmosphere. Zuzana Hradska: So nice breakfast
Usman Mohammad Malik: I'm sure it's got new owners. The coffee and service was really poor.
Debs Brown: Brogans was close d due to staff striking about working conditions. No working dishwasher, poor hours low pay and the owner is going to take the staff to court to teach them a lesson! Says it all I will never go in this establishment again.
Beccy Wills: Better than the last few visits starting to cfeel like it did before
Jess Robinson: Great food, staff were having a bit of an off day with the assembling though (pancakes + jam isn't even on the menu).. to be fair so were we, failed to order some things we thought we had.
Chris Bray: Lovely place and great food.
Linda Titchener: Lovely breakfast. Staff kind and helpful. Quiet little place
Kelvin Graham: Service with a smile. Chats with the cook about the menu could be done in private. However the food was good, reasonably priced and everything you could ask for from an all day breakfast. The best I’ve found in Swindon.
Beesting Gaming: Nice food, well presented
Danielle John: All food is very lovely, theVegan Super Salad in particular amazing. A friendly and comfortable atmosphere, thank you to Dave and Josh for your great service. Danielle, Chippenham
Tom D: Went with a fairly large party at the weekend and the guys here were welcoming and accommodating. Food was tasty and good portions. Good, clear options for celiacs. The service was a little slow and not what you'd call slick. No major complaints though, if you're in the area I would recommend. Score was more like a 3.5, not quite a 4 this time.
The Senpai: Lovely place keep voming back again and again 😁
Derek McCoy: I like it because it’s nice so it feels like you’re not in Swindon. Food is good too.
Roy Conde: Clean and quick service
Pauline Gallagher: Horrendous service..40 mins for a latte
Jacy Sturgeon: Great brunch - I had the super salad (I’m vegetarian) - it was really good, served with yummy warm bread. My husband had a Big Breakfast (I think that’s what it was called - big fried breakfast, as he has everywhere!!) - he said it’s the best one he’s had in Swindon! Praise indeed!!! (He has quite a few lol)Highly Recommended - good selection, great food, lovely staff 👍🏼
Paul Cooper: It was very nice today but i was very disappointed with the sausages. I have been coming here for many years and the sausages have been excellent but today there was no taste to them and there didn't seem to have any flavour to them. I don't know why but they never really tasted of anything. Unfortunately i can only give you a mark of 3 stars. But having said that if the sausages had some quality and flavour to them you would have got 5 stars from me
richard embeary: Seems to have gone down hill since it changed hands, customer service is is somewhat lacking,by lacking I mean none existent, my poached eggs were solid, the bread was bog standard sliced bread and not the higher end bread they used to use, until the chef learns how to cook an egg (worrying how basic this should be) and the management decide to buy higher end products I won't bother going back again. Classic example of if it's not broke don't fix..... Decent business ruined by cost cutting and people who clearly have no idea on how to run a traditional cafe.
Ann Hoskins: I paid £18-10 for a large breakfast without sausages and crispy bacon, an eggs Benedict (with ham) and two drinks. First off my breakfast had sausages and bacon was very fatty and not crispy, and the eggs Benedict had smoked salmon instead of ham ! They took them back to get correct breakfast but instead of getting a fresh breakfast they just swapped my sausages with bacon so the fresh bacon was hot but the rest of breakfast was tepid. My daughter loved her eggs Benedict but her eggs were not very hot either. Will not be going back
Gillian Cotter: Lovely food clean nice staff can get busy
Rachel Sitchevici: Very nice food and good service, my only gripe is that the baby change facility could have been cleaner (thank goodness for cleaning wipes).

A: I buy the breakfast from here regularly, sometimes I ask to take out. I found it quite strange that one random day I was asked 5p for a carrier bag that I’ve been given free of charge for months. Please be better to your regulars. Other than that, banging breakfast.
