David Wain: I had an excellent experience and can't thank the doctor enough for his help. The only problem I had was when I called the doctors the first time I got through they put the phone down on me and then I had to call about 16 times more to get through and then had a bed connection and the receptionist had to call me back because the call dropped out.

Emma Gunston: I was very anxious attending this surgery as it is not mine, I had been referred by Lawns. The welcome from reception certainly wasn't overly friendly, but I was there to see George the First Contact Physio, who I have to say was outstanding. At no time did I feel rushed or not listened to. He took on board everything I said. He explained everything to me very clearly and answered all my questions. I feel so very lucky to have been able to have been seen so quickly. Thank you so much for providing me with such excellent care.

Joanne Milsom: I have been with this surgery for many, many years and the way I have been treated has been faultless. If I've needed quick treatment, I've received it. Staff have all been very kind and helpful. When my dad passed away, the doctor was fantastic and even checked how my mum was on the call. Brilliant surgery and I feel very blessed and lucky that we have the NHS and all the wonderful staff that work in it. It's a tough old job.

Personally I have NEVER had an issue with this surgery and I've been a patient for over 30 years. Yes, they get stretched, are over worked and under paid, but if I use the service correctly I always get seen and feel heard.The reception staff are professional and curtious, mind you, I've never given them a reason not to be. Also, someone mentioned they ask for your date of birth and name straight away, Honey child, that is time efficient! and you are not calling to book a holiday or a table at the Ritz.Thank you North Swindon, you rock.With much love and respect from someone who claps you for life, not just for lockdown!

Charley Louise: I moved to ridgegreen surgery after moving home within Swindon and the quality of care offered by this surgery is so much better than others.I’ve visited for various problems over the years, both routine and investigatory. The doctors and nurses have always taken my difficulties seriously and compassionately and have referred me to appropriate care routes. So different to my previous surgery which dismissed me with a leaflet that made my problem worse, after speaking with my gp here, I was referred for an x ray and they immediately noticed what was wrong. This has been done quickly and I’ve never had to wait more than two weeks for an appointment - sometimes I’ve had some the next day! However this practice organises their appointments is how I wish all services did - the online booking system is really helpful and once you know when to call I’ve always been able to get an appointment. To all the negative comments below I wonder if they are calling at the right times or booking online as this is so vastly different to me and my partner’s and our friend’s experiences.I dont have any conditions that would mean I’m considered ‘priority’ either.Overall an amazing surgery!
Dale Jones: Not for me, but thought worth a review as lovely lady behind reception got the patient seen due to red mark on neck. After wrongly being sold itch cream by a pharmacy it turned out to be an infection, the receptionist wasn't asked for an appointment did it off her own back. Fantastic service.

Don Wells: with helpful receptionists and professional doctors and clinical advisors. The ‘patches’ system is brilliant and more often we have managed s same day appointment with a by phone or face to face. Personally I moved here from another surgery and that was 10 times worse than here.

Lydia Hilton: Since they have been taken over my Westrop I have noticed a MASSIVE improvement. You can book a gp online for a routine appt which is usually only the next week or even the same week which is absolutely amazing and the phones get answered SO much sooner. Thank you so much for really turning it around I love how it works now. Also any admin queries are answered so quickly.

Receptionist I spoke to was lovely and really helpful arranging an urgent prescription whilst we await a medication review. Opening hours fantastic for working people.

Susan Reid: I cannot understand the negative reviews, particularly concerning the Reception team who I have found to be EXCELLENT. I agree you may have to wait for an appointment but that is due to the general state of the NHS, not by the people working within the NHS. Nationally they are all trying hard to deliver a great service within a broken system- my experience is that at Moredon Health Centre they are doing it very well. We moved here 6 months ago and have had lots of dealings with Reception - always courteous, always helpful. Maybe we've just been lucky. I only give 4 stars because of the wait for appointments, but that's not their fault.

They have always helped me in times of need throughout the years. Even in Covid they still remain their usual efficient selves. More recently I have been dealing with Dr Luciani who even during telephone appointments makes you feel at ease and never rushed. He has been so helpful in supporting me. Thank you so much, in times where the vast majority of the public are complaining about their surgeries I feel extremely grateful I'm part of yours.

Malcolm Rose: I have been contacting the Lawn Medical Centre over the past few months regarding my mum who sadly passed away in March and more recently for my dad. I can always get through to talk to someone and they are always very helpful on reception.I also had the good fortune to have Dr Luciani visit my elderly dad and his assessment and bedside manner were fantastic. I cannot praise him highly enough.

Amarpal Sorr: Very happy with the surgery. I have an excellent diabetes nurse Sue and any doctors I see or speak to are always professional and considerate. Also reception staff are very good, in the past the reception staff have been a bit short and rude. I was thinking of leaving the surgery, but the new management has made lots of improvements, the surgery is much more pleasant and welcoming.

Jazmine Richards: I may have needed to call approximately 6 times, all calls answered in less than 4 minutes even with 5 in the queue ahead of me. So there’s more people on the phone lines picking up the phone than usual doctor surgeries! Secondly they’ve always had appointments to offer me, even if it’s 9-10am, my previous surgery I wasn’t seen in person for 3 years, and took 150 call attempts before getting on the queue system, so having a face to face appointment more than 5 times this year already has made me feel so much more confident when I fall poorly/ need advice.Also, Saturday nurse appointments! Soooo helpful!! I work Mon-fri 8-5 and I used to find it hard but now they have this option when I need a nurse I know a Saturday appointment is available:

Colette Windle: The receptionists are friendly and efficient and I have always been given excellent treatment by the doctors and nurses.My only gripe is having to phone @8am to get an appointment and that the booking system hasn't yet been made self service via the internet. This would save a lot of frustration.The pharmacy opposite is very convenient and the staff are always cheerful and respectful of personal data.
