James Newport: Very good service fast and the atmosphere was very nice and very polite people and the food was very good would recommend and not to expensive 5 for a medium set of fires 3.00 which is not bad price for the amount we got. and batted sausage 1.60 which is not a bad price.Parking: Only at peak times it will be as would be but not busy at 5 when it open not to busy parking.

Bethany New: Honestly the best chippy in Swindon! I live over the otherside of Swindon and I happily drive there to get chips and veggie battered sausages. The nicest staff in there who are always happy and so helpful. The owner is always front of house working with the staff which is nice to see!The chips always taste fresh and the majority of the food is cooked to order so its always hot.Couldnt recommend this place enough if you haven't already tried it!!Vegetarian options: The BEST battered sausages ever! HIGHLY recommend. They are relatively small so they do an offer which is £2.99 for two which is so cheap.

The lady serving who turned out to be the owner, was very friendly and outgoing.The food was cooked fresh in front of me and tasted amazing! Hanners Hannerson: Puzzling sizes. One week a large chips is a foot long box the next it’s half the size but the same cost. Gets busy when the football is on and get the impression they take full advantage of the subterfuge and customer that is in a rush.Chips are nice. Staff are a bit too cocky and arrogant for their own good.Atmosphere is created by fellow football fans gathered in and outside.There are other options. I will be using them next time.

Lee Mayell: and boy was it worth it, a very large piece of cod with lovely golden batter coating it, it was absolutely beautiful and such a generous portion size and as for the 'small' chips well they were cooked beautifully too and i would describe them as more of a large portion to be honest. Service was very friendly and polite a good team of three behind the counter. This was our first visit to Lucy's but it certainly won't be our last, halfway through eating hers the wife commented that it was the best fish and chips she had ever had, high praise indeed and to be honest I would have to agree, thank you Lucy's fish bar, we will be back very soon, Lee

The chips are made from fresh potatoes, not frozen & were perfectly cooked. This is an outstanding fish & chip shop, do yourself a favour & get yourself down there!

April: Ordered 2 cod and chips and curry sauce early evening. It was cooked to order but was worth the 20 minute wait. It was all piping hot, the batter was lovely and crisp and so tasty on a large thick piece of cod which was succulent and flaky. The chips were crisp and fluffy in the middle. The curry sauce was tasty too. The staff were polite as well. Only note is it is cash only. Recommended.

FreeBreadRolls: I fancied a chippy so i came in and was whaffted in the face with a banging scent of classic fish and chips I GOT A JUMPO SAUSAGE AND LARGE CHIPS but the BUTTER ROLL was good also. The staff were all lovely and helpful but i thought the pickled onions were going to fall off the edge and into my mouth. the battered sausges were incredible so i gave one to the dog and she loved it too. THE FOOD was so nice i even tried a bit of the wrapping it came in and that was good too.

A: See the problem is , my wife went to the vape shop and my skinny self said go to the chippy next door for dinner while you're there , not our regular but convience on this occasion, now the problem is I only read the reviews after she stood in line and ordered so definitely wasn't going to face another beating from her that day. Anyway , what I'm trying to say is I was expecting the food to be a bit rubbish but in the restaurants defence it was fine and it was cooked when ordered....
