Ian Aspinall: Professional and knows his stuff. Turned to Lee when wanted help losing fat. Is at present Army based. So the knowledge,discipline is there. Hes helped me to get on stage and place top 3. I'm in my late 50s and if I can you can with Lee's guidance and solid goal oriented.

I now train with both Jamie and Jack every week and because I have osteoarthritis the functional mobility training is both essential and enjoyable. You never know what you can do until you try.

Kate Westbrook: When I first started training with Jamie, my main goal was to lose weight. I’d just had my second child and after two pregnancies I weighed in at over 14 stone. Through training with Jamie and eating healthily, I lost 4 stone over a period of 8 months. Although I have achieved my initial goal, I continue to train regularly with Jamie as I really enjoy the exercise sessions and they help me to maintain my healthy weight and good muscle tone. As well as feeling better in myself, I have noticed a marked effect on my personal life as I can now enjoy spending time being much more active with my children, which I struggled with previously. F: I was very happy with the results of my 8 week shred programme. I was much stronger and more toned at the end. The group was fun and lively while being effective. A big thanks to Nick and Kenny.

Jordan Sharpe: I found Nick of a recommendation from a friend that had been working with him for a number of months. From the start he exceeded my expectation, his knowledge both in and out of the gym was impressive and he clearly knew his stuff. We came up with a fitness plan and also a meal plan which was easy to stick to and also not unrealistic. Nick took into account my personal situation such a foods I do and don't like, along with exercises that work well, and excluded ones that didn't. I've seen some serious result thanks to Nick's attentiveness, experience and ability to actually help his clients appose to other PT's i've tried who are just out to make a quick buck. I'd recommend Versatile PT to anyone. 5 *'s!!

Carmen Tse: Put simply; if you want to make a change in your fitness or gain confidence in the gym, then book a session with Nick and you won’t look back. Since we began in June, no two sessions have been the same. By constantly providing inspiration during our sessions, Nick keeps training fresh and fun for me. He might show me something totally new, demonstrate a different method or help me improve my technique on something I know. One point of great importance, is Nick’s ability to get to know a person. By taking the time to understand me, this maximises the sessions we have, as he can be flexible enough to change the plan up if the need arises and encourage me when necessary. The icing on the cake is that other people in the gym that don’t know me have commented on how great I look and how well am doing under his guidance. You can’t give much better testament than that. robbie Smith: If you want a personal trainer who just rolls out the same bog standard exercises every week ... then Nick ISN’T for you ! He constructs bespoke routines tailor made to your needs , he offers valuable advice on food and nutrition to complement the physical activity and is always happy to answer queries and offer advice whenever you need it . As an older woman , I had very low confidence in my body , but after a few months seeing Nick I absolutely loved the transformation- both mentally and physically. Nick is such a nice guy too and nothing is ever too much trouble . I would definitely recommend him to anyone of any age .

Dawn Sabat: Nick is an amazing PT! I first started training with him a few years ago doing group hitt sessions. After they finnished I decided I wanted some one on one sessions to give me some confidence in the weight section of the gym. This was an area where I had not trained as had no clue how to use any of the machines or weights. After training with Nick a year I lost all my baby weight i was still carrying several years later. I gained lots of confidence in training and made huge progress on my goals like doing a push up, Pull up and squatting 60 kg, I even gained some abbs. I really started to enjoy how my body looked. I became a little addicted to weight training and told nick my new goal was to enter a bikini competition. Nick helped me with research in to what I needed to achieve to enter a competition. We had many discussions and based my PT sessions around this. He was always on hand to check with or ask any questions about how to cut and shred any weight. He gave me lots of tips on how to prep and get my deit in check. Then when Nick got his PT app it was fantastic as I could track my measurements, body weight and add my meals on to it. This helped so much as he could see where my diet needed tweaking. I fell pregnant before entering the competition we continued light training together untill my SPD got bad in my pregnancy. I plan to return to the gym and to my sessions with Nick to help me gain my body back.

Danielle Murray: Came to Nick with the goal of being someone who loves the gym, 9 months later I can say I love it! The first time I was supposed to have a session I was so nervous I walked out before it started, Nick messaged me and asked if I was ok and we rearranged. I was so nervous but I thought if I don’t go now I won’t ever go. Nick made me feel comfortable and took it easy as I really struggled with exercise when I started. I see Nick twice a week, I look forward to our sessions and I always learn something new, if I don’t like something or don’t understand something he always compromises to ensure I get the most out of my time. If I turn up in a bad mood, I always leave smiling. I’ve lost so much weight and gained so much confidence all thanks to Nick! I initially thought I’d just go to a PT for a few months to learn what to do and then go off on my own but there is just always more to learn and having my sessions keep me motivated if I fall off. Highly recommend him!

heather wheeler: I have been running with Run JB personal training for 2 years now, and I feel much fitter, happier, healthier, than I have done in my life!!! as the classes are really structured to your level of fitness, and the ecouragement and support you get is really good, not just from the personal trainers, but from the other ladies on the same journey as myself! and its a really friendly group of like minded people who make the sessions fun and enjoyable, I would reccomend them to friends, family, people that I work with ,who want to either get back into fitness or haven't done any exercise at all, you dont have to worry about that as the classes are tailored to suit individual needs and everyone is made to feel welcome.

Lucy Edwards: I cannot rate JB personal training highly enough. Jules and Shona have created a wonderful community for like minded women, all striving to achieve/maintain fitness. Their classes are varied and exciting, always welcoming and easily adaptable to every level. Their positive and supportive attitude is so motivating, 18 months on from joining JB I've lost 3 stone with Jules, exercise 6 times a week, have embraced running with RunJB and am in a completely different place with my fitness and wellbeing!

Christine and Amanda were fantastic coaches and the support of the other ladies on my course helped enormously. Before joining the course I would never run anywhere but after 8 weeks I managed to run the 5K and can say I actually enjoy running now and will be joining the next course.

Sam Watson: I have been doing personal training sessions with Matt to re-build the muscles after snapping my ACL whilst skiing. Matt has a very professional approach and pushed me hard, but the results have been fantastic. I would highly recommend him and wouldn't hesitate to go back for further sessions for whatever reason in the future. Definitely 5 stars from me!

Ken McQuilton: Excellent instructor and personal trainer, Matt sorted a weights program out for us and I regularly attend both his Body Pump and Spin classes, would highly recommend him.

Matt certainly knows how to translate your goals into actionable programs.Every week is different, so you don't get bored with the same old repetition. Matt has the ability to know just how far to push you. Yes, the personal training sessions are hard but exercise is based on the effort, time, reward ratio. The effort is steadily increased as you progress through the weeks. You'll get stronger, lose weight and feel fitter, with the associated increase in energy levels as well, which at my age is a bonus !The individual exercise is always demonstrated first to ensure correct technique and posture. Matt does not stand idle, he offers encouragement when your struggling with the last set of reps. Shauni Iles: I approached Matt to help me train for a triathlon that I had spontaneously booked, he has been a great support to me during this process. Matt is an expert in all things fitness related and this really shines through in personal training and bootcamp sessions, he has helped to improve my weight lifting techniques massively and I have gone from only being able to squat using a bar with no weights, to squatting my own body weight in 8 weeks. I am prone to injury and this is the longest period of time I have constantly exercised without getting injured, which is amazing. Exercising is now part of my lifestyle and Matt has helped to make this happen. Joanna Barnwell: I have no hesitation in recommending Matt both as a PT and forBootcamp. I met Matt at Simply Gym in January 2016, about to start training for my 5th Moonwalk overnight powerwalk marathon. Having not trained with a PT before, I was a little apprehensive before the first couple of sessions as I had no idea what to expect but felt ready to change my fitness up a gear. Matt is a great motivator; all the kit we used was new to me and getting form correct was key from the beginning. He was always encouraging, especially when I was flagging, which made me dig deep and finish the exercise/circuit. He certainly pushed me beyond anything I ever thought I could achieve. I left the first session with a new enthusiasm and motivation for my fitness that I hadn’t felt in a long time. That year I took 48 minutes off my previous Moonwalk time.I joined Matt’s Bootcamp in June 2016 and have seen my fitness and strength impove considerably since I begain training with Matt and then boot camp. My first Bootcamp event started with a 5k run which was a huge achievement for me personally given I have powerwalked for years. I have since participated in the 5k Rough Runner obstacle course race with the bootcamp team, something I would never have considered previously. I had extra PT sessions with Matt in the run up to that for upper body strength, which helped my confidence too. My body shape has changed with my upper body especially lean. I am now training under Matt's guidance for Tough Mudder half, which boosts my run fitness to 5 miles and really looking forward to it. Plus we have another bootcamp charity event scheduled for September which keeps us all motivated and continues the fitness goals. Boot camp members are a very social bunch of people, there are regular "socials" and celebrations to mark events we have participated in.The difference my improved fitness has made to me generally is huge and I love it and remain motivated to progress.

Andrew Waite: I used the services of Matt to get my fitness back on track.
