Swindon Tennis Club: what do users think?
M M: Place is ok but not for everyone. Its on recreation grounds so at least one court should be free to use for everyone who pays an extortion called council tax.
Melrick Fernandes: Need more awareness
bum steak: Nice cup of coffee in the sun, watching others playing tennis.
Gerald Murphy: Very good service and helpful staff.
Chris Laker: Seems that the local residents use the car park so much, that it is often difficult for the tennis club users to actually park their car these days.
The Sugarpaste Mouse UK: A lovely independent coffee house with really nice coffee, really lovely staff and great courts.
Zaher k “zAckzIdk313” Shakeeb: Good for keep fit
Baskar Rangasamy: Good facility ...getting slots needs to be improved
Mel Hearn: 'Badminton ' lady very helpful with a tennis booking query.
Jagruti Shah: Great way to learn and practice... Good for all age groups
T J: Great time love it.
Tony Zammit: Went to the Park next to the Tennis Club. Brilliant for young children. Separate areas for swings/seesaws, sand with climbing and slide.
Jay7: Great Tennis club. Very friendly staff. Loads of court available to play. Even when it rains, the court dries within 20 minutes and ready to play. Great coaching sessions.
jaime donega Bezerra: There should be seats.
Shuhan Bayzeeid: Managed well, cheap, courts aren't always available, some flood lit courts
Robert Smith: Recently renewed playing surfaces nice cafe on site
Thanu Akil: Lovely place ❤️
William Dickson: Good courts and very affordable
claudio luiz: Fantastic 👏
Mariusz Piaszczynski: Super miejsce do gry w tenis oraz dużo miejsca na spacer z pieskiem. 👍

Padel4all Basset Down: what do users think?
Edward Corrie: Excellent meal, service super. Nice place to go even if it's only for coffee.
Mark Whiting: Always good
Sara Hardy: Went to an 'Intro to Padel' session today and loved it! Only two of us in the session so basically a 60 min private lesson. Padel was super fun and easy to pick up, like a mix of tennis/squash but more beginner-friendly than either. Facilities are lovely; so nice to be playing in the fresh air but under a roof. Highly recommended and will be coming back.
jonny groves: Brilliant welcoming club, and great coaches to learn the game. Everything you need. Highly recommend!
Ross Betts: Padel is great fun! A cross between tennis and squash but a lot easier to play than both of these. The facilities at basset down are great for all abilities to come along and play, 3 courts well looked after and friendly staff. There are a couple of downsides, the courts are basically outside but under a shelter, so it can get quite cold. Second is the overall price. Padel is played in doubles so splitting the costs makes this a bit more manageable, but £30 for an hour on the court when you compare that to maybe £5-£10 for squash or badminton. Could do with a few more facilities on site too, may be a vending machine, but the club if a short walk away.
Lynne Humm: Very good facilities very clean golf course good challenge food delicious recommended
Claire Case: Fantastic facilities on site.Staff were so friendly.Highly recommend for children and adults.
Nardus: Enjoyed a training session. Will go nback for more.
Junior Schmidt: Great place for padle games, very nice courts at accessible prices. Recommended.
Garry Stratton: Initial facilities check over drop-in visit. Helpful friendly staff took time to explain Padel and, options for novices. Top quality new courts. Will be going back to try it out soon..
Melanie Eastwood: Great sport and venue. Brilliant coaches. Fun and sociable way to get fit, whatever the weather.
PAUL MILLER: Great venue to play padel without having to worry about the weather. Lovely friendly atmosphere and brilliant facilities for a post match drink, meal or social afterwards.
Mandy Rooks: Great venue with superb coaches always there with advice and encouragement. Definitely a fun sport for all ages and abilities, you're never too old or young to give it a try.Really friendly club. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
Mandy Donald: Super sport and great venue, all coaches are helpful and friendly and the padel playing community warm and welcoming. Everyone helps each other with tips and sometimes go for coffee and snacks at the clubhouse. Their programme has lots to offer from 1 to 1 coaching, social match play and group coaching for different levels so get yourself down there! Do wrap up though when it's ❄
Phil Cooper: Basset Down is a great place to play padel.A warm and friendly atmosphere in a well managed environment.Having padel now in the West Country is a great thing and padel4all are leading the way with their well run padel centres.Onwards and upwards for padel4all in my opinion and I am looking forward to the Bristol centre opening soon.
Charles Collins: Incredible set up and very reasonably priced. They were really quick to respond and were super helpful. The lessons they put on are brilliant - can’t wait to go again !
Buzz Busby: Only place to play padel in sw england
Archie Wilkinson: Sooo much fun. Am not very good at tennis but this was so much fun and definitely coming back

Meadowbank House Bed and Breakfast: Great tennis club, friendly locals but competitive tennis. Well worth checking out whether you want low key club play or to join a team and play matches in the Swindon & District League.

David Lloyd Swindon: what do users think?
Deepesh Singh: good facility but you hardly can book anything... management is inept... busy times half of the swimming pool is used in training for a few... it feels unless you enroll in additional classes you cannot utilise facility fully.. if there is an option don't use Swindon but likes of Bristols are much better..
Lucy Smith: Went in for a tour & was told the membership prices would be emailed to me that night. Had to chase up a few days later via phone. No one called me back just emailed a discount code. Was ready to join but had a question before I did so emailed 2 times & no one has come back to me. Guess they don't want new members!
Riyaad Jondah: Good place but definitely not worth the price. Lots of leisure activities, however for £200 a month you would expect high standards inside, the upkeep of the building is not 100%, toilets are very disgusting. Also having to pay extra for lesson or a trainer is ridiculous when you are already paying so much. Food is also not discounted. My local leisure centre offers more value to me. Only worth it if you are a millionaire or like to waste money.
Julie Titcombe: It was okay. Went for rehab in family pool after major surgery. Reception staff said hello. Nothing remarkable to add. Starting to return after absence.
Vikki Rule: Brilliant gym, nice swimming pool, spa area is also nice. The classes are what sells it for me. Convenient times, and a wide range of different classes. Still here after my renewal, new weights in the studio. So it's nice to see some new kit coming in. Hopefully there will be more.
Matt Jones: Spa and facilities looking a little tired but the people are friendly.
Boubacar s b Toure: 2nd
kelechi meke: David lloyds is an overpriced gym that offers only gym flex members much cheaper rate of 80pound a month and charge the rest working adults 120 a month for using the same gym! Avoid this gym at all cost!
LORD Mark Gill of Chaol Ghleann: Moveology Osteopathy is 5 star. Used it when needed and found it the best around. Recommended highly. Still as good as ever and very professional.
Dilya Emiraliyeva: Very tired place, equipment needs renewing, jacuzzi is in bad condition
John Wyatt: I got robbed at David Lloyd's and they did nothing . All they care about is your money.
PST Energy4life: Really disappointed with the lady on reception today! Did not give a great welcoming to someone who was suppose to join. Completely changed my mind! Feel like some customer service training is needed at the front desk.
Nabil Chouba: Stuff is super nice and all equipment are always in good shape
zydrune batvinyte: I like that they have a nice caffee and sitting area. However, it's very busy with kids and some equipment like rowing machines are out of date.
Jana Neplechova: V zázemí pro bazén brutální zima
AnnabelR: Very clean and well organised
lomep poara: A marvellous establishment where only the very upper echelons on society convene on a daily basis. David Lloyd in Swindon has spectacular staff who do their upmost to keep you fully satisfied.
mandy jones: Gym spa out door pool in door pool cafe. Friendly staff I love it
Daniel Sadjadian: David Lloyd Swindon is a lovely gym. The facilities are a tad old and in need of refurbishment, but everything works pretty well for the most part. There’s much to do: indoor/outdoor swimming pools, spa, indoor/outdoor badminton/tennis courts, medium sized gym, group exercises sessions, personal training sessions, quiet work area, restaurant and more… The pricing is more expensive than most gyms, but the facilities actually work, I can’t say the same about a lot of other gyms in Swindon. Overall great place to exercise 👍
Kevin Frostick: Another good day at the club.Due to a detached retina operation, now unable too any strenuous exercise which is real bummer. So did my first class session since I've joined ab did Pilates.Thoroughly enjoyed it and doing the same again tomorrow along with yoga.At least I'm doing something to stop going mad lol.
Ali Asgor Shohel: Amazing place for exercise

Ricardo Du Bignon: 3 newly laid LTA match ready tennis courts with fabulous LED night lights...with amazing banter from Simon the coach. I have been a member for only a short while and find the club to be with 3 superb quality courts, modern LED lights, good social tennis with the opportunity for those keen and confident to play competitive league matches at varied skillsets.. I watch the coach create a relaxed theme with plenty of praise and encouragement , allowing time for the young kids.to have fun whilst learning their skills. Men's practice nights are traditionally Monday when not in league seasons. The courts are available to book online.
Nick Fiore: Brilliant place and really friendly staff.
Charlotte Bell: Good quality courts and a welcoming atmosphere. Recent developments include newly repaired and painted courts and netball courts. Lots on offer including club sessions, league tennis, junior coaching programme and beginners courses.
Rohin Kandola: Great banter and tennis coaching by Mr Hennell.
Bernadette Clifton: Terrible. Really bad experience.Committee think they are God. DO NOT JOIN THIS CLUB!
