Lawrence Phillips: Really enjoyable and challenging yoga sessions.
philippa hemmings: A beautiful space to practice yoga. Jill is a wonderfully inspiring teacher who has helped me to build and strengthen my practice. She encourages her students to try new things and every class is a great combination of the familiar but often with a twist and pushing the boundaries.
Laura Cheeseman: I have been attending classes at uptown yoga for 16 months and I can't say enough positive things about it. I absolutely love the energy and holistic approach of each lesson. Whether they take place in person or online, each lesson is fun, challenging and covers many different aspects of yoga. Jill is a very knowledgeable and patient teacher. She provides just the right amount of support while delivering fantastic lessons! I would highly recommend! 🙏

My favourite part of the week is the hour I spend at Uptown Yoga

Earth Yoga Santuary: what do users think?
Lauren Hayes: I have been to yoga studios in many countries so I feel confident in saying that this is a really special studio. Not only is the level of teaching excellent but it's oozing with soul and knowledge. It is so refreshing to go to a studio that is unpretentious whilst keeping a strong sense of yoga philosophy and it's spiritual elements. The atmosphere feels friendly and has a community spirit about it which I feel is rare. It's evident so much thought and love has been put into it's set up and every person seems valued, all whilst keeping an expert level of teaching.I had an awful experience at a yoga studio prior to finding this gem so thank you to Karen for restoring my faith and love in the beauty and power of yoga. If you want to experience yoga at its best go here, you won't regret it!
Heather Hanson: Out of the universe.
Niki Walker: I highly recommend Karen's Earth Yoga Sanctuary. Karen is truly an amazing teacher and woman, and guides you through breath work and meditation and knows exactly how to improve your yoga practice that is personal to you. Just one session can leave you on a path to improve your spirit, body and mind. If you do anything for you this year, book a session, you'll never look back 🙏♥️

Lower Shaw Farm: what do users think?
Belinda Lockett: A lovely atmosphere and nothing too much trouble.
Jean Binney: Love this place...been visiting for nearly 40 years!
Christine Blake: Step out Swindon walk from here every Monday at 2pm the farm has all facilities.
Rayanne Ordette: A little slice of heaven in Swindon! I have been to 2 yoga weekends and felt restored, relaxed and nourished. Such good value for money, a welcoming energy and fabulous hosts.
Lae Monier: Appalling. I attended two workshops spread over at least five years at this establishment and both times were awful. I found the hosts, especially the elderly man, to be snotty, and discriminatory. Unsuitable for the sort of guests that frequent this establishment, I was purposely pushed aside. Interestingly though my money seemed to have been good enough for them to keep it. Go somewhere where the hosts appreciate you.
Paul Barrett: Magnificent place, great for families. Andrea and Matt are excellent hosts, very welcoming and hospitable. One of my favourite places in the UK.
Craig Arnold: This place is absolutely amazing, my kids had a wonderful time here. It is a hidden gem and a community asset to Swindon.I've lived in Swindon my whole life and had no idea this place existed, hidden away and tucked in between Old Shaw village and the Shaw residential estate. It's hard to believe that such a tranquil place exists in the location that it's in.Due to Covid, we had booked 3 hours exclusively on the farm. We met the farmer Matt on arrival, who was very friendly and welcoming. He talked us through what was on the farm, where we could go (pretty much anywhere) and what we could do. We had our own toilet, and kitchen to make tea/coffee. He left contact details if we needed anything and then went about his own business on the farm, leaving us to our own devices. So first up, the kids went on the playpark where there was loads to keep them entertained including- a huge hammock, a rope swing, sandpit, football and plenty more. We then went on the 'Welly walk' which lead us to the 'deep dark forest' which was a great place for my kids to explore. We then visited the campfire garden, pond, wish tree and fed the pigs.Lunch was up next which we brought ourselves and ate in the sun, before visiting the very cute baby chicks. My kids then spent a considerable time playing in 'Dove Cottage' before going on the tractor, feeding the sheep and hens, and then finished back at the Cottage to play again. All in all, £10 per child plus £5 for myself= £25 for 3 hours entertainment was incredibly good value. I thought we would be finished after 2 hours, but there was so much to see and do that the 3 hours flew by before we knew it.Matt and his wife Andrea were amazing hosts, very kind and welcoming to their beautiful farm. If you're looking for a place to take your family during these difficult times then this place is it, my kids loved every minute of it. My two year old cried when we had to go and my six year old asked if we could stay longer next time!I couldn't recommend this place highly enough, and we will definitely be coming back soon!
Rebecca Joce: An idyllic place of peace and healing
Dave: Fabulous people,Fabulous place,We need more LSF's!
Rob Bishop: A refreshingly peaceful and supportive environment with many people to meet and many lessons to learn...

Queens Park: what do users think?
Daniela Boahemaa-Afriyie: Amazing & peaceful place with beautiful sceneries.
Bharatkumar Bakhai: Beautiful park near city area
Marta: Nice place to walk in the city centre ;)Restrooms: Free toilet
Eddie Adventure: lovely place lots of nice views but dogs are not allowed and i live a five minute walk away
Yasin Cetin: I know we'll meet againSome sunny day
Kirsty-Rose Jessen: Great for a short walk but can walk entire park in 15 mins
Mohamed Ikram: Best park in swindon for kids
Samrah A: For all
Jean Fewings: Could do with a shop like the Town Gardens, and some play things for the children
Martyn Daw: Didn't even know this palce exosted until a few weeks back. Lovely place for a wander round and is full of wildlife.
Ирина Кудинова Саваринська: Гарне місце за будь якої погоди , де приємно погуляти з сім'єю.
Tony Orwin: Lovely - underused and appreciated park that was so much a part of the Swindon community.
Józef Białas: My favourite park in town centre! Want to see some squirrels/pigeons/swans/ducks? That's the place for you :)Current closing time is 17:00.
Dave: Worth a walk to and just to sit there relatively peaceful and nice to have the water birds there. Now can see the slow changing of the seasons with the leaves changing.
Alan Fisher: Great park, just a shame the pond weed has taken over again. Hopefully will be sorted soon.
Claire Jerome: Queens Park is stunning it does not allow you to take dogs but acutely I didn't mind this as the wildlife there is so friendly, a great hide away from town were you can sit and enjoy the calmness of the water features and the lake feed the ducks, gees and Swans you wouldn't belive you are even near the town while walking around this beautiful park with lovely artwork of our late Queen Elizabeth done by local artists. Overall I'm shocked this Park is not spoken about alongside some of the other parks with in and around Swindon.
V: The only park I have ever tried to visit, that doesn't allow dogs!!?? Why is this?? Dogs are part of a family, & families are allowed here. Completely bizarre for a council run facility, & I feel sorry for dog owners that live in this built up part of the town.
Jorge Martínez Richie: What a beautiful park to amuse. We were visiting Swindon for a few hours, and we found this lighting point on the map. It's located a few minutes away from the rail station and the commercial zone, so you can walk to explore the town. The park is a lovely place to hike, take fresh air, and amuse yourself alone, in a couple or family plan.
Luke Edwards: Sadly not a dog friendly park, otherwise beautiful.
caradoc taylor: REALY NICE PLACE
Nick Dixon: Lovely park
