Whilst travelling in the hired motorhome we noticed motorhomes wherever we went. Having considered it for a number of years, we decided to bite the bullet and invest in a brand new, modern motorhome for ourselves to help us get outdoors more. That was the start of the business back in 2019.
Since then, we have grown year on year welcoming new customers, whilst welcoming back familiar faces, which has allowed to purchase stunning brand new motorhomes and campers each year.

The engine Shed: for 5 nights, hand over was very easy and smooth and were able to leave our car there while away, the van was very clean and well maintained and had ever think we needed and Rich and his team were on the end of the phone if we had any questions. We definitely experienced the “small business” feeling with rich and Simon showing us around all the other vans we may be interested in hiring in the future. Wonderful time made all the better using our fantastic camper van from the Busy Lil' Motorhome Company.Never driven a vehicle this large before so took a little getting used to but with Rich walking me through and using the videos he's posted on YouTube, I got used to things pretty quickly!Will be booking again for 2024 although I hear its getting full pretty quick.Definitely a 5 out of 5. If you're thinking of doing a trip in more style and comfort than camping, then it comes highly recommended!

Terry Buckland: Rented 'Benny' for 5 nights to see if we enjoyed the experience. Shaun was a great help from the very start, showing us around the various options and helping us decide on the right vehicle for us.Clear instructions given on collecting the vehicle. We did not need assistance while travelling through Wales but I have no doubt that Shaun would have made himself avaialble as he promised.Enjoyed our trip, very happy with the vehicle and service provided.Thoroughly reccomend Cotswold Motorhome Hire.
David McDonald: This is an excellent, privately run business run by Shaun from his base in Clanfield. If you visit the website you can see Shaun describe his Motorhomes in great detail and his passion for his work is immediately evident. Each van is individually named - we had Nessa- and they are modern, well equipped and very clean. At pick up, Shaun does a very thorough walkthrough and all functions on board are clearly explained. On return, our deposit was returned promptly. I would have no reservations about recommending this company.

Shaun spent valuable time giving me all the info I needed and he also shared his journey of the NC500 route he did in the exact same MH last year.I can’t recommend Shaun enough as the MH was clean and tidy with all the bells and whistles you need for a great holiday. Two gas bottles and batteries so if you want to wild camp you can without issue.Shaun gave out a lot of info and spent a lot of time with me as I was new to motor-homing. Well I am now a convert thanks to Shaun. I looked at his other Motor Homes he had for hire and they were all in top top condition for a trouble free holiday.Will hire from Shaun again that’s for sure.Big thanks Shaun and see you again 🙂

Jan Page: was presented in fine condition and ready to roll. Shaun is great in his delivery of everything you need to know about using the vehicle. On our return we mentioned a couple of minor things that needed slight attention and he accepted them and thanked us ! He certainly gives you a feeling of confidence that if anything did go wrong he would be available to give advice at any time of the day.So all in all its a 5 star service!! So I am looking forward to next year when Benny will keep us warm and dry from Festival downpours!!🤣🎶

Alex Feher: Just returned "Nemo", the ford transit campervan after a week touring Cornwall, Devon and Brighton. This was my first trip without involving hotels and I have to admit it was great!It was well kitted out and got quite a few nice comments from other campers. It was very easy to pull into a campsite, extend the roof, get the chairs out, plug the power in and get the kettle on! Everything was easy to find inside the cupboards and it drove very well on the testing hill climbs in Cornwall.Simply lower the seats for a bed comfortable for two. It can take another two people"upstairs".It's completely dark at night with the curtains and windscreen cover, exactly what I needed, I had a couple of late mornings, which are unheard of!!Easy pick up and drop off, Edwina and Marc explained everything well, were nice and friendly and helpful throughout, we will definitely do this again. Thanks for converting me into a happy camper!

From first contact, booking, through to picking up the motorhome and having everything explained to us, both Edwina & Marc could not have been more helpful!Chester was stocked with all the essentials and all we had to bring was our duvet, pillows, food and a cheeky G&T or 2! 😉😂The best recommendation I can give about the experience we had with Go Roaming is we have booked another trip away with them!Massive 5 ⭐️ from us!

Maria Charlton: We were looking to buy a motorhome so wanted to hire one for a long weekend first just in case we decided we didn’t like it. Edwina was incredibly helpful when I called and answered my many questions. We loved the straightforward pricing structure and T&C’s of Go-Roaming, unlike all other hirers we looked at that seem to want to rip you off for every single thing. Marc was really helpful during the handover too and we drove off happy in the knowledge that we could call them if we had any questions or problems. The campsite we stayed at wasn’t far away as it was more about life in a motorhome rather than travelling around. Chester was a really comfortable, home from home van, really well looked after and perfect for the two of us. Safe to say we loved our weekend and will be buying our own van but would highly recommend anyone hire from Marc and Edwina 😁

Denise Rogers: Wonderful experience from start to finish. We had Toby for a week away.and from the moment I made the initial enquiry, Edwina was really helpful and a delight to deal with. When we collected Toby Marc took us through all we needed to know, complete with a a motivational speech about how easy it is to drive. Following intial nerves, Marc was right and Toby was a pleasure to drive. He was fully equipped and so comfortable. We was really sad to have to hand him back. Can't recommend Go Roaming enough.Thank you both for an amazing experience..
Amy Goff: We have just returned from a family adventure of Cornwall and Devon and we absolutely loved it! Toby was amazing and had everything we needed for our 8 days away he was also very spacious and comfortably liveable…. I could have stayed another 8days! My children were so excited to sleep and travel in Toby and we cannot wait to hire him again, Edwina and Mark were so so lovely and extremely helpful with their instructions of how everything worked….We will be back!!
